Coming back to this video in August 2022, I actually did get mine at the end of July 2022 for the equivalent of $270. It took me about three weeks to arrive since it's a South Korea variant, but... WOW! It's totally worth every penny! It really didn't take long for me to get all familiar with the swivel screen. I also love the gimbal camera for giving me total control for video recording. It may only record at 1080p/30fps, but I'm still more than okay with it.
LG passed the "global Jerry can test" 😀
Seems like LG is brave and confident enough to give their phone to the most dangerous man in the world who can reveal to millions if their is a flaw in their manufacturing...! Hoping that the production model will be having the same quality...❤️❤️
😎😎😎
no bend test so
JRE: are you vertical or horizontal?
LG wing: yes

Don't you see ur profile picture?
first off aww, secondly i hope phone manufacturers keep innovating like this there are so many possibilities.
Roger Pearce apple: wat?
@@nivioof apple : we have new bla bla bla PRO and it's just $99999 LOL
One of the most innovative phone that I've ever seen😮😮 ..hats off to LG 👍👍
I really like the idea because I hate turning my phone for full screen and all the manipulating onscreen that entails.
My only problem would be dirt etc in my pockets because I work outside a lot. That would mess up the swivel.
I still think it is a great idea. I love LG. I still use my LG HBS370 Bluetooth headphones daily. My LG Rebel still works with it's Snapdragon chip..I do not use it but still kicking around.
Still think about getting a KGv60 but One Plus has the 12 and 12r. Actually the 12R is around $400 or less now with 16/256 so kind of the new LG type competitor to Samsung, Google and Apple.
Jerry: "Just like little Legos"
Everyone: "OMG he did the thing, he said the thing!"
Me neither
^ pshhhh JerryRig much?
no

Hey Bart say the phrase
Zack: *takes apart whole phone and puts it back together*
Phone: *works perfectly*
Me: *presses screen a little harder than usual*
My phone: *dies*
true asf
Your phones lungs collapsed... Rip
@ No the name is Zack
Jerryrig means small holes for attaching things
Everything means (you imagine, jerryrigging everything 😂)
So... you're a more destructive force than he is? Impressive. Most impressive.
@ his granpa called jerry, and he always rig stuff. Watch his old video
This device contains so many incredible mechanical components in it that I’m honestly in awe. How on earth did the fit an entire hydraulic damper in there when Apple can’t even fit a headphone Jack 😭🤡
Thats just bullshit. They just wanted to push their AirPods and unfortunately, it worked.
Does anyone even use a headphone Jack nowadays?
Let the headphone Jack Die
@@Coyote-G That is because Apple started this trend and the rest is history.
@@Coyote-G literally every time I'm in my car anyways
Apple literally did what they set out to do, then everyone followed as usual. What exactly is your argument/comparison here?
I did watch this video before buying this Wing phone. I am an LG fan. Thanks a lot Jerry.
LG: T phone
People: Wtf should I do with this?
Me: Install emulator
Bro fr my first thought was that gaming on this phone is bout to smack that and multi tasking
T-pose with the LG Wing to assert dominance
Emulating 3ds, ps2 and exagear while T-posing would be the biggest flex ever.
Ds emulator would be amazing
Install NDS emulator and Hold this phone upside down ⊥
(But I'm sure those emulator won't support this display setup 😕)
LG: Consumer’s unit
Also LG: Jerryrig Unit
lmao
this is the same unit they would sell. it wouldnt bend but they dont want to take the risk and lose buyers. if he bends the outerscreen opened that would break. but if in phone mode, i doubt anything would break.
I feel sad for LG. They have always been innovating and never got the attention they deserve. The OLED and 2K displays, phone locking using the blood cells, laser focus and many others. Many of those were also copied by companies like samsung and apple
LG phones lack software support
Lg did not invent oled... And idk what you mean 2k display? Vivo made first 2k phone display
Also never heard of blood cells locking mechanism??
@@schwartzy65 if they didn't invent it they were the first company to use it on phones. Also check the Lg G8 ThinQ unlocking system
@@schwartzy65 But they did, actually

Thanks for the assist here! Made the tear down and LCD replacement easy as pie. Removing the LCD from the top panel was quite easy with a little heat, and it adhered back just fine.
where did you find the replacement?
