- Israeli authorities want to make Muna and Amani homeless. For three months, they recorded video diaries for AJ+, documenting their life in occupied East Jerusalem.
Muna is being threatened with forced expulsion from her own home. And Israel may demolish Amani’s house at any moment. We follow Muna as she fights her expulsion in court, and Amani, as the demolition deadline approaches.

That house was property of jewish people before Jordan took it during the war. Jordan forced the jewish owners to leave their home. Palestinians illigaly moved into the house and confiscate it. Saying they will pay rent to the Jordan gouvernment. But the Jordans allready said they can not do so because the house is not Jordan property. So, this Palestinian family is living illigaly in a jewish home for a long time. Not paying for it. Yeah. Now you know it. No poor palestinians, just thieves.
1. East Jerusalem is not occupied. It was under Jordan rule after they captured parts of it from Jews.
2. Nobody illegally took over half her house.
3. She has been living in a Jewish property without paying rent (Her family was paying rent to Jordan. Title was never transferred because Jordan agreed they didn't have right to do so.
4. Israeli court tried to be fair & asked the Jewish owners not followup with eviction but enter into lease agreement. Jewish owners agreed. The arab families did not. So legal eviction continues.
IN ANY NORMAL COUNTRY IF YOU DON'T PAY RENT YOU GET EVICTED.
It is an unfortunate situation but creating an emotional display to make us feel sorry doesn't change the FACTS.

Israel is a mini me of the United States. Palestinian = Hawai'i and Puerto Rico.
Hawai'i actually agreed to become a state and they want out as much as New Hampshire or Connecticut, and while the treatment of the Hawai'ian Native people is poor, it isn't comparable to how the Israeli government handles Palestinians.
Second Puerto Rico is sort of Palestine on paper except not at all when there's little encroachment or oppression from DC. Being an Island means they get a lot of freedom and leverage that many states don't so they aren't in that poor of a position and many many move to the United States for the opportunities that Puerto Rico can't supply, which is technically a positive fro the Puerto Ricans.
Is the US a beacon of tolerance? No. But would a better example be the Plains peoples? Yes.
Hawaii voted to become a state in 1959, Puerto-Rico have been voting to either become a state, stay a territory or become independent since 1980 and every year they have voted to stay a territory.
In 2016 they forced an interim election because those who wanted it to become a state thought they had the votes and they did and voted to become a state.
The US Congress didn't do anything and the election results expired. Now they want to have another interim vote.
