I went to Israel back in 2016 after graduating college and experienced something life changing. I was spit on by jews while eating with friends and they told me not to say anything or the military would come. I said well "im an American, I havent done anything to them lol" he said it was bc i was christia so out of respect for the people i was with i didnt say much else.
One of my friends urged me to check out west bank so i got a permit and went through. I told my friend I wanted to dress like a normal palestinian to experience what his family has and it was eye opening. I was harrassed by military when going to the store and thrown rocks at by jews when i was just looking at the art on the west bank wall. I was circled around by jews who were saying stuff to me, I didnt understand what they were saying. I ended up just walking away and they threw more stuff at me. The experience was pretty crazy and not all jews i met over there were like that. I actually met some pretty nice ones in Jerusalem but they did say the extremist zionist had ruined their culture and it contributed to all the hate i saw.
They apologized many times about the things i had experienced and of course i said it wasnt their fault but i could tell in their eyes they were deeply disturbed about what their people had done to me. Now, I have been to Mexico and thought the federalis carrying m16s around was crazy, this was next level insane lol
The people in the west bank were some of the nicest people i have ever met. We ate together every night and talked like crazy. They shared their home with me and never let me give them money. I ended up giving some to one of the little girls and said to give to their dad when i leave. Its an sbolute travesty what i saw and i cant say anything more than this is just an occupation of people who are being demonized for just being muslim or arab. Since then ive been vocal about it with friends and family and have educated myself on the matter but its a mess and this fascist PM they have hasnt made anything better. I dont condone what hamas has done but explanation isnt the same as justification. I dont justify Hamas but I do understand why they exist, they exist because of tyrannical practices done by Israel and its fascist government. Its only natural gangs will form in Los Angeles when police brutality reached an all time high. I wish for peace for Israel and Palestine everyday and I hope humanity prevails.

The issue of a Palestinian state is one issue, and the Hamas organization is another serious issue. It is forbidden to combine them and support terrorism.

A Palestinian state does not exist. In 1948, the state of Israel was founded when Jews and Arabs lived here, not Palestinians.
When we proposed to the Arabs to divide the country into two peoples, they did not agree and the war of independence broke out.
And at a later stage in the Six Day War that Israel was attacked by Arab countries. Israel won the second war and defended itself.
At this point, the green line was built in 1969-1967.
So actually there are the areas beyond the green line where Palestinians and Jews live together.
The police and camera forces that you see in the video are meant to maintain the security of the state for both the Palestinians and the Jews.
And of course to thwart attacks or despicable acts of terrorism such as Hamas or another organization.
The Middle East is not a simple thing, Arabs and Jews live here together.

Secondly the entire land that Israel is occupying is Palestine. Israel illegally obtained the land via colonization (Britain) and have been ethnically cleansing and displacing Palestinians for almost a century and this is known as the Nakba.
This occupation is nothing new and you’d know that historians, ex- American missile specialist, Humanitarian watch and the United Nations have been documenting the atrocities that Israel have been committing against the Palestinian people for over 2 decades now and considered what Israel is doing a violation of numerous international law.
They are many documentaries and stories from survivors explaining the severity of abuse Palestinians go through on a daily basis. From assault, sexual assault, false imprisonment to torture and even death. There’s even documentaries in which Israeli ex-forces from the Nakba brag and laugh about what they used to do to Palestinians out of fun and boredom, one of them even laughed and mentioned how his buddies had raped a 16 year old girl.
As someone who studied about colonialism and genocide in college, what Israel is doing and the methods they use to carry out their actions is no different from the methods the Nazis used during the Second World War
(including the campaigns and the dehumanization and collective punishment of a population)

All my life I have been pro Israel, seeing this for the very first time have really changed my perspective about Israel.... how can you subject people to live in this manner, this is saddened.
Thank God! I have been twice to Israel and met many amazing people. However, it´s insane how the western media protects Israel at all cost. The narrative is so partial and manipulative. I am not saying the terror attacks weren´t horrible. But what Zionism has done to Palestinians over the past decades it could considered a war crime. That's why they call it a smart city. Our smart cities will be like this, but far more subtle and dressed up much more nicely, with a friendly protective look rather than an oppressive prison look - but functionally the same.

And the panopticon/watched feeling will still be there just as much for the people who know what's going on and do take freedom and privacy seriously - who are the indeed people most likely to be a genuine threat to an oppressive system. So it will still have the same chilling effect on many people while not upsetting the docile ones.
