come on then simplex users... whats the best find you found so far with your simplex??? how are you finding it ?? let me know in the comments section below.
Cubing LAB no my main machines are nox and deus as they have more features and fine tuning... but for a £299 machine I highly rate it... its worth twice the money
Still haven't managed to bag one yet... The last lot went in under an hour.! ! When eventuallyi get one.... I'm gonna find amazing things.. trust me... hahaha
Thanks for the video great watching always good to see new technology working in a real environment amongst the muck and dross of the real detecting world .
Well done Sid Another great unbiased video. Best finds on my Simplex is, first time out, Henry VII half groat. Second time out, Silver Saxon Sceat. Absolute banging machine and I have 16 other models to choose from
Great video...I wasn't sure if I was going to get a simplex or not. Might need a more up to date video to convince me to get one.. Come on one or two more....Also what your view on the Nokta Pulse pointer.
Awesome Sid, was out with my Simplex for an hour on Sunday, went over some ground i had previously done time and again with the T2, managed to find both Roman and medieval artifacts. I did ( like you) dig some large rusty iron, high numbers and good tones though I found that disappointing. Will try your settings next time out mate.
Nice one , that gives me hope for the simplex, I've only had two trips out but liking it already , well done on ypur cut half and the penny ( found with the Deuse) the simplex is holding it's own so far which isn't bad for the price is it 👍🏴
Love watching your vids you and your mucka’s have a great laugh good banter man ! I use the deus without remote couldn’t afford it at the time , but now I can afford but don’t see the point in buying a remote when I can get the simplex and wireless headphones for a lot lot cheaper ! I can have 2 good detectors cheaper than 1 with the remote ! I would be right to make this decision wouldn’t I ? 👍 cheers man buzzzzzzzin 🤣
Interesting video . The Simplex is a cracking machine .Waiting for the vanquish to appear see which is the best going to have to be good to beat the simplex . What might swing it for us coke/hot rocks we are plagued with in our area in the north east . As minelabs dont usually do hot rocks ??? A relation lad done a bit detecting with us previously is looking for a machine . Pointing him towards these 2 rather than a ace 250 . Great video as normal cheers .
david hopper yeah im intrigued to see how well the vanquish performs too.... I recon itll be half decent too... but as you say gonna be a big as to beat the simplex as its doing great so far
Hi, Sid, Been quite new to detecting out once on not the best land, Group dig, Did find button Gilded back , better than normal iron I have found. I am Unsure About following - Swing Speed And Depth Indicator How deep is each step indication roughly My simplex was as noisy as hell - thought was me till everyone said was having same problem but this was not something I had seen on youtube when people detect with the simplex I also was on the hammered - but a Hammer head - lol Thanks for Help Paul
@@englandshistory ok I was getting it wrong - thought I had seen that the simplex liked a fast swing will see next time out any guide to the depth indicator what each notch indicates - just saves me digging to Australia when its only 6 inch - lol Thanks for the help
Are there any particular settings you recommend for use with the simplex ? I seem to be digging a lot of iron and bottle tops. Had a few coins although I’m getting varying signals and no sort of discriminative numbers for certain metals. Some iron will range from 30 to 60 depending on depth it can be very deceiving.
hes using a tweaked deep mode... 7 khz and low recovery... both machine only just heard a whisper but we have had hammies from the area so digging everything
Andrea De Benedictis cheers buddy 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 i like to ad different vids to keep it interesting but majority of vids are out digging and having a laugh.... will soon be doing underwater detecting also as just qualified as a diver 🤘
Brilliant vid Sid. I was going to buy a Nox but can't stretch the funds. I have a Deus with original 11" coil. Is there any advantage to getting a Simplex? or would upgrading to the 11" X35 coil be a better option for me?
I find it pretty shit on the beach tbh.. doesnt go very deep.. also it’s pretty stable on wet sand but even the light chatter and I keep noticing the number coming up so don’t know wether it’s a signal or just the slight chatter of the machine.. on land in field mode it seems much deeper.. I’ve only done 8 hours with it though.. 4 on land and 4 on beach.. do you leave ground balance on 90 on land??
Enjoyed the video and what you found with the Simplex. When you were comparing signals with the XP Deus, was the Simplex able to hit all the targets that the XP Deus could hit, and vice versa?
@@englandshistory yeah, I watched that the other day, just having a look at the settings and notch discrimination, I live on a 15th-century manor house country estate, its had detectorists on it before but the landowner just messaged me to say I can go on a bit by the house he's not let people on before.
How the hell has your mate got that moody sid ha ha, just watched your vid with marky, well done sid on them Roman's what a field he has like you said. Anyway all the best sid Ian.
Hello sir! I am just curious about the hype when someone finds a “hammered” 😳! Dont know anything more about detecting in England then what I’ve seen on your channel so I’m totally green😄! Is it the age or the metal? Maby rare but hardly seems so? Thank you and bye bye!

Some nice Henry sid👍👍
Great video, love my Simplex!! Where did you find your colorful shovel?
would love to see the simplex and the Deus working together over the signals to compare using a standard program. nice finds
That looked fun the simplex surprising me, may consider as a back up to my Deus. Regards Ian
its a good little machine...yes it would make a great back up machine for ya
Awesome video bud...and thanks for the help earlier...worked alot better... but still needs your exspertease to look at it..lol

Paul Green swing speed depends on how noisey land is... but for normal detecting roughly swing 2 seconds from left to right...
Paul Green depth indicator is a tricky one on any machine as only fairly accurate on coins... id say segments are in inchs

That plug will shrink and go brown ,can't you cut a three way flap and leave the turf with a water supply?
Nice one! Can you explain what you mean by ‘sounded round’ ?
Fleeting Glimpse it takes a while to get it but... when you swing coil over target from all angles you a small signal from all ways...

Steve W so far i have been yes... still experimenting to see what suits it best
EnglandsHistory Ok mate I’ll have to try it 👍🏻 I’ve been ground balancing it every time..
My 1st coin I found with the simplex was a KG II , found in The US

Ronald Dvorak yes there was very little in it..
some the deus was slightly better audio some the simplex... but not much between them on this hunt... still yet to test on a tricky roman site

What pin pointer are you using ( red one)

How come your pin pointer doesn't make interference when you are in frequency number three
it does a little, i have turned sensitivity down one notch on pointer and leave machine a little further away when using pointer
