I’m Ben and I’m ten I got in the searcher for my first hammered. Last week I found another also found a silver William 3rd and a queen Ann 1707👍👍👍. Metal detecting is the best hobby😊👍👍
I see the 'Gucci' detectorists are at it already, calling the Simplex an 'entry level' detector, as I have stated previously, had they made this machine a little more difficult to understand, issued it with a 60 page instruction booklet, charged another one thousand pounds to purchase it then it would have been, to these 'more money than sense' searchers, a top of the range machine, what a sickener it must be to see it outperform their Deus's and Minelabs. Do they realise they have been ripped off but dare not admit it?
@@Sapper094 Oh dear, as 78 year old, with over 40 years detecting experience under my my belt belt I feel I am qualified to comment, my first detector was a Viking IB, that is as far back as I go, my finds encompass Bronze-age, Roman and Medieval, so please do not bring the metal detecting fraternity into disrepute with your ill chosen, childish comments, if you wish to enter into a sensible discussion I am only to glad to listen you.
@@Sapper094 My dear chap, almost 50 years ago I purchased, from a company called Sol Invictus, or alternatively called Rimatron, a metal detector which was sold with the model name of Viking. Believe it or not, with this simple IB detector I found loads of coins, artifacts and articles of interest, I cannot afford a Deus? My dear chap I live in a detached bungalow recently valued at £500,000, I share it with my wife and 11 rescued dogs, I am retired and have travelled the world from Australia to America and most of Europe, I have a degree in English, a Doctorate in Modern History and a medal from my time as a conscript during the Malayan conflict, never assume, never criticise, always enquire, you may learn something.
@@Sapper094 As for your 'Sapper' tag, my dear chap, in 1960 I was engaging Communist insurgents in the jungles of Malaya with the 1st Batt. The Loyal Regiment. I was 18 years of age and was one of the very last conscripts. Being a combat engineer doesn't quite hack it for me my friend. Anyhow, let us agree to disagree regarding the Simplex. Enjoy your searching and I wish you luck.
What's the benefit of using that cap over the display? Easier to brush off, or just an extra layer of protection? - The Simplex is supposedly waterproof, just asking :)
I know this sounds like a daft question but I'm looking to buy a gift for someone and trying to choose between a Scubatector pro and Nokta Makro Simplex. Beginner use at the beach/in the water. What would you recommend? Is it worth it to buy scubatector or would it be frustrating? Am I just as well buying the Nokta? Im a total newbie lol
Salut l'ami merci pour ce bon moment de partage moi je suis français et je suis breton je detect avec equinox 800 je me suis abonné à ta chaîne cool a + l'ami et bonne detect un 👍 bleu 😉 🍻
Sapper must be harbouring lots of demons, the hand of friendship has been rebuffed, So, what was his regiment, his deployment details, his missions and are his his credentials verifiable? Mine are, but, and here again I do not wish to engage in verbal warfare as I am sure were we to meet we would have so much in common and so many stories to relate that detecting would take a back seat.
Leigh Thomas yes they do. I would have expected Searcher mag to have been more honest. It’s a very nose heavy machine and yes there’s wobble, for want of a better word. Buy cheap buy twice.
My friend has just bought a simplex they are not very good all targets sound the same Daffy Duck ,but for the price they are better than the Garrett rubbish 👍

Ripper of a video 🤘 Looks a good machine.
Nice video and cool finds😃👍
Nora Svet l must have missed the cool finds, all l saw was tat.
Why is it £140 more expensive to buy it here in the UK than it is in the USA. Don't seem right to me
bassassin at a guess it’s value added Tax
The EU are responsible for 15% of our 20% vat bill sadly
Your lucky we pay throw or asssesss for everything in Australia , due to the 4 time GST tax , the tax that just keeps taking ,

2 years on, would you still recommend this detector?
What pinpointer have you got, sounds really good compared to my £12.99 one from ebay.
Dan S Hey, it’s my XP Mi-4. It’s great.
@@AshUnearthed thanks that's the one I will be getting then
Simplex and mi4 they work good between each other? Do not have any interference?
@@sauliusziukas106 Doesn't matter now anyway as you can easily mute the simplex with the latest software installed
Awesome 🤙
Why you cover the detector? Is waterproof and dust resistance
is there any cheap detector carriers bags what fit it in ? thanks
I m wondering if really all the signals sound the same
because they do lol

Why a rain cover? The Simplex is waterproof. Great vid btw
It's not just a rain cover it keeps the mud and dirt off the screen when using gloves keeps from scratching the screen as well
Looks a good mid range machine.
Us the field seeded or just rolled ?
It's a great all round machine, its very good on pasture too. It's deep!
What pin Pointer do you use?

When you find such things as the bed knob, don't you just wonder how they actually got there.. 🤔😅
New subscriber!!
Couldnt watch entire vid, the pin pointer being clumped with soil drove me nuts...lol
Took the simplex on the beach the other day and it was a disaster lol 😂
LOL stands for Lots of Love
Great machine for the money depth is great but do you get any wobble on the shaft with the coil being so heavy??
