sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the login password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Kai Beckham Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Hi "weird guy"! My dad got a simplex recently and it's sooooo noisy! Like park 1 with 3 bars of sensitivity and he's getting tons of chatter. We've tried ground balancing and even manually forced the ground balance all the way to zero and that helps some but then after turning off the detector the ground balance goes back to the factory default of 90. We also get lots of chatter between the simplex and his garrett carrot. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help!
The chatter is normal for the simplex..Make sure you update to v02.77 there is a mute button ...Yes it chatters like crazy when you turn on the carrott..
This was when i was on version 2.77 so i always would switch back and forth with park 1 and 2 and sometimes into field mode..I would do that to see how the other modes would react..Also to bring in the fainter signals a little better to help me decide if i'm gonna dig it....
Some folks say to dig everything but sometimes I don't have much time. How do you decide what to dig when you're cherry picking? What VDI's, tones, etc.? Also, what state are you in?
When i cherry pick i usually dig the obvious good targets..The ones that give a nice repetable signal towards the higher end of the vdi like 70 and up..I'll dig lower tones if they are repeatable also..The ones that come in loud and clear that's what i mean by cherry picking..Tones are nice and sharp and the pinpoint isn't to loud like when you get a large item...
Yes it does sometimes but that doesn't mean something is wrong with yours...Lots of factors effect the pinpointing..Size ,depth and type of target. EMI and heavy trash areas....Sometimes it helps me get the pinpoint better if i back off the target then press pinpoint and move over it again slower...Sometimes it likes it faster it's really hard to say..Just keep using the it and you'll get use to how the pinpoint works ...All the detectors iv'e tried had different feeling pinpoints on them..
2 silvers, nice 👍 what settings do you use? Just curious as I am quite new to detecting and have the simplex. Been playing around a bit with a couple of different setups. At the moment I am using Frequency 2, no discrimination, 1 on the iron volume and I leave the ground balance as it is at 90 as I have read that seems to be the best way. Any suggestions please?
Hey thanks Chris. The way i usually run The Simplex is in Park 2 Sensitivity on the highest i can get without to much chatter..I usually start off on sensitivity on 5,Iron Vol on 1.Pretty simple and i always ground balance although you don't have to i guess..If i get deeper targets that i'm unsure of i'll switch to Park 1 or Field for a little extra depth..Then switch back to Park 2 to continue on..
@@WeirdGuyInPark Thanks for taking time to reply, much appreciated. Will definitely try out your advice next time I am out. Enjoying your channel, thanks again 👍
No it's very stable even when you hear it chatter...When you pass over a real target you know it..I don't notch anything out i just lower the iron volume..
Im so confused. Should I buy 2 of these simplex or 1 Garret AT pro? The internal battery is where my problem is . I asked 1 person but did not get a straight answer. Plz help any1
I had the same issue with NOT wanting an internal battery because all my detectors from the past used AA battery's.I thought the old way with battery's was the best way..But that changed as soon as i charged the Simplex for the first time..It's so easy and convenient. I havent had to purchase a battery since.I don't worry about the internal battery going bad.If it goes bad in 10 years i'll swap it out with a new one no big deal..I never used an AT Pro but i'm sure it's a great detector...But for half the price you can get a Simplex that will find anything the pro can.Maybe the AT Pro is more versitile right now because you can upgrade to bigger coils..If your just hunting playgrounds and front yards like me then the simplex shines because of it's ability to seperate targets.I paid $315 with the headphones..Search for a private dealer in your area and go to them and pay cash. That's how you get the best deal..
I appreciate your input and yes a agree a better mic would help..I use the gopro and i know there are other mic options.I may look into that..Thanks Pat for the suggestion...
@@WeirdGuyInPark Thank you for the video's, its always nice to see what others find, and i know it's not easy filming the detection hunts and then Editing all the footage.
@@patprop74 Thanks for watching glad you likethe videos..For me the hard part is detecting in the summer heat...I was going stong in the winter and spring of this year but now iv'e slowed alot..
I let the detector explain things to the veiwer..I mount the camera up on the arm cuff to show how the vdi is reading and i don't use headphones so the veiwer can hear..That's what i like to see in a metal detecting video so that's how i do it..Thanks for your input i'll try to explain things better..What exactly did you want to know?
many folk would just love to see the VDI Number then the find....it really helps others to learn the machine quicker...
Ya i agree...Dirt Fishing is my favorite detecting channel thats the way he always does it..
Love your reaction on the coin ball and 2 silver day. That feeling never gets old! Nice vid.
Thanks WV your right it never gets old..

Thanks alot Kevin
Using park or field setting?
I was on 2.77 back then but it looks like i was using Park 1 for most of the hunt..
Awesome Hunt congratulations on your silver
Thanks Troy
No bad for 2hrs it was kind of wet. Is that a public park? Do you have to get permission to dig there?
It was kind of in a ditch area along side of the street..Owned by the city..No Permission needed thanks Jane.
is there any cheap detector carriers bags what fit it in ? thanks
You could probably use any regular size back back for the simplex...
Muito top✌

Yes it does sometimes but that doesn't mean something is wrong with yours...Lots of factors effect the pinpointing..Size ,depth and type of target.
