Guys, we are SUPER pumped about finishing the research and design on the new 11 and up Car Hemi QuickRun (formerly QuickHemi) standalone engine harness. We did our best to make them fully plug and play and the easiest to use. Notice how very few connectors are actually needed for it to work and the make up wires to hook up the battery, ground, and fuel pump and you are off to the races!

Hi Blake, the more i watch your video's the more im convinced i need to do a hemi swap. That said, i got a line up on a 2012 dodge charger (wrecked sheriff RT prusit charger, unsure of miles) that runs and drives. Think i will trailer it back to my shop and start the tear down, rob anything i can for my 71 duster A-body. UNLESS you all want to take on a new A-body "DIY", :)

Can I start the new Gen engine with an old NGC ECM?

Hey so im swapping a 6.4 srt8 in my 2010 ram 2500 5.7 and i need it tuned but theres no tuning shop and i dont know if a srt8 box tuner will work if i plug it in to my truck so i was wondering what harness to buy and what ecu cause i cant just swapp the ecu because the wiring harnes is a 4 connector to the ecu un like the cars wich is 2 connector

Our QuickRun 05-08 truck harness supports the 545rfe since those came stock on them.

I have a pre VVT 2007 5.7 hemi crate engine and stand alone harness and computer and was wondering what I do with the original computer in my 1991 Dodge D-150 that I plan on swapping?
You can pull it out and toss the D-150 ECM or sell it. You will not need it.

So how do you keep the valve guides from dropping?
You are thinking 03-08 engines. The simple answer is keeping the engines cool.
Make sure you have ample cooling capacity to prevent thermal expansion of the cylinder head aluminum.
The guide material has a different coefficient of thermal expansion than the aluminum metallurgy of the cylinder head casting. This is how the press in valve guides can come unseated.

We have not done that yet, but would love to hear your results if you try it!
@DIYHEMI looks like if I use the 4.7 harness with pcm I can run the drive by cable Tbody and attach a second as the follower , then Lots of Tuning .
I want do put a hemi in my truck what all would I need can I use the OEM wiring and ecu
use the OEM engine harness, then our QuickRun harness and have us calibrate your ECU
I have a 2017 6.4L Srt full motor ecu etc. So all i would need is your quick harness and everything should run or do i need to send my ecu in to get other stuff disabled in the ecu itself ?
Correct, just buy our QuickRun harness and then send in your ECU to be recalibrated so that it will work in standalone configuration.
Does this work with the MDS engines or does the MDS need to be locked out?
It works on mds engines, but the mds feature is turned off in the tune.
What about the NAG1? How is that going to work? Original TCM with TCM 2800... Standalone? What's the plan?
NAG1 and 8speed transmissions would require a stand alone transmission controller from Sound German Automotive.

No, the truck hemi is wired differently. We will have a full stand alone solution for those in the future

Yes, it will run hellcat engine. However the hellcat engine needs extra features to be complete. It needs a relayed circuit for interchiller pump at minimum. We are working on a hellcat specific harness and will launch it soon.

Will this help with running any of the 8hp transmissions or the newer Nag 1 transmissions?
This just runs the engine. The transmission needs its own controller

We have a harness that will work for thst engine but it won’t work well with your Jeep. You keep uses a newer canbus format than the older ram

Can anybody answer me a question I installed this in my 1965 Dodge Coronet wired it up the same way I get fuel I’m not getting spark. Any suggestions?
Did you have your ECM calibrated? Or are you using a stock ECM?
I finally got it started. I thought I had voltage on accessory when it was cranking but it didn’t. I ran a jumper from 12 V to the accessory and it starts so I have to find where it keeps 12 V when I’m cranking it at accessory and when it’s cranking

So I'm swapping my 2006 5.7 Hemi to a 6.1 Hemi pretty much same year with the wiring harness you are talking about I can pull a motor out of another car pop it into one I have and this wiring harness will wire up and I'll have no problems starting my my car I wish I had y'all's phone number I'd rather talk to you on the phone about it gets too detailed here anyway I'm going to swap out my motor and I don't want to replace the entire wiring harness for the whole car and if this is some kind of adapter kit where I can plug and play does it do you also make a wiring harness for the transmission too anyway if you can text me your phone number
