Be abunddantly blessed. This is exactly, the perfect videos I was looking for. We just got the X32, logic pro, and bought a template for mixing live, and I was wondering and asking question because eoi will test everything tomorrow. Thank you so much again
From your logic mix to your ATEM, you mentioned you are now using an audio interface. Which one if I might ask? Also, help me with the signal flow process. Let's say you have an audio interface now connected to your MacBook pro (logic). Do you send the L & R outputs of that interface into the XLR L&R inputs of your ATEM switcher? Does that lose any gain in the process? Is this how to do it or is it done another way? Thank yo so much for the help!!!
That should be exactly your solution considering L&R out of the interface is line level going into the switcher. Doing it that way allows for you to also use the volume knob on the interface to control the amount of volume/signal is going to the ATEM switcher.
Thanks for this! Our X32 came in this week and I am hoping to solve the problem of vastly different sound mixes in regards to in-person vs live stream. This gave me hope and pointed me in the right direction. However, it appears I'm going to need more desk space!! Thanks again! Hunt @ Long Memorial United Methodist Church
thank you sooo much!! i was going nuts trying to figure out why channel 32 wasn't going into my computer.. its because card out was set to something werid.!!!
Great video mate! Just a couple of questions to confirm as you mention at the end - did the signal from the console have any effects or EQ or was it just totally clean as you said?
Iglesia Cristiana Betel Inc. hello. We use a scarlet interface now. We use the usb card out of the x32 into logic via usb. Then out through a scarlet 2
The Routing you use in the video was that for when all inputs to the X32 is at the back of the board? If my inputs come from the SD32 stage box, should my the Routing be from the AES50?
I would say maybe.... as long as you pick the routing correctly and have each instrument coming into login on the right channel... just do a quick test I think you will see
Blessings brother we started doing the exact same thing you re showing in this video, with exactly the same software and mixer, for our church’s online streaming. Every thing is great except for this loud popping sound; the sound randomly cuts for one second and then comes back with a loud BOOM while streaming. Do have any idea howbto fix this? Thank you
Hi I got a question hope you can help me We got a midas m32 I connected same like you did it on video but I don’t get no signal. Do I need to download any software of midas or anything like that. Thanks
Worship Band Builder so basically I would like to get all the inputs into Logic Pro and then output the modified sound through the mixer at the same time. just like an audio interface.
question man! same setup except I am using a Midas m32. I am having an issue where during recording, logic will stop recording and the warning "disk too slow" pops up. Input monitoring is still on so the the mix going to livestream is not disrupted but I really don't want the recording to stop for the purpose of post editing. Running a mid-2012 13inch MacBook Pro. 8gb memory, 500 gb ssd (I installed). 128 buffer size. on logic prox. Thanks!
to get the audio out from logic on our mac over to our streaming device... we did at first just use the headpone out on the computer... but we upgraded to the scarlet i2 interface... then out of that into the ATEM mini streaming device.
Hi brother cool video! I have a question, do you need to install any of the X32 driver on the Behringer website before connecting to your DAW in your Mac? My X32 was not detected on either Mac's System Preference or my Logic DAW. Huge thanks man! CHEERS!
I did not install any..... that's a good question.... your computer should just recognize it... try a differnt usb cable or dongle. we've had some act strange.
Japheth Trigo yes. It’s a logic template Ana it will connect to any mixer if your mixer does connect to the computer like the x32. Just select the correct inputs.
Great video! One question: if I turn down the fader on the X32 to stop the audio from clipping in logics wouldn’t it become to low in the speakers during the live performance?
No, you do not control the level in logic on the x32.... the logic receives the signal just after the preamp. so you control the house on the x32 fader and the logic stream inside logic
Did you confirm that the audio coming from the x32 is post preamp but pre-EQ? I'm sending our 32 channels to a broadcast room (using Dante) and I can't find anything that confirms this. Thanks in advance!
What went into your decision to use a direct USB connection for all of your inputs for Logic instead of using something like Dante where you just need an ethernet connection and can be located anywhere? Ideally to mix livestream we don't want to be in the same room to prevent sound bleed over. If it is the additional cost then I understand, but you also have some expensive unused Macs indicating cost may not be a large hurdle so maybe I am missing something.
Yes budget. Our audio budget was near zero when covid hit and we had not live streamed. we put together what we had to start streaming. Most of our budget went to video equipment. We do have some macs but they are dedicated to other things.
how do you setup up the x32 I mean how do you route on the x32 in order for the logic capture those channels and send to the streaming computer I appreciate any advice.
Ok so first you set up the routing like I show in this video. Then in logic you go input monitor mode and use the output of your computer or a audio interface. Basically just the headphone jack if the computer to end that mix in logic to your livestream. We use the atem pro device to stream.
might seem like a silly question, but by changing the card, you aren't messing with the PA mix right? So in theory the band can play and people could hear it through the PA, if they were there, and you can also recording into logic?
Hiortintexas Racing yeah of one guy is going to try to mix both live and foh, but it’s not ideal. I did that a few weeks and it’s ok. Plus logic gives som much more flexibility to do a real broadcast mix.
@@WorshiptheKingMusic I guess the difference is that when you create a matrix for the stream, you establish the mix and leave it. What you do is to actually mix the live feed love.
Hiortintexas Racing right. There isn’t a way foe us to really get a killer mix I matrix and leaving it during the set. When vocalists switch to lead or different instruments have lead breaks that mix has to be changed ams mixed in the fly. But yeah if you have to do this it can work but it’s not as precise.
Be abunddantly blessed. This is exactly, the perfect videos I was looking for. We just got the X32, logic pro, and bought a template for mixing live, and I was wondering and asking question because eoi will test everything tomorrow. Thank you so much again
How do you do the live mix using your headphones and also send the audio to the live at the same time? since there is only one port in the Mac/
Good question. Please respond

Hey guys! I did a followup video for you Part 2! Listen to this ua-cam.com/video/fj1uWqinSmI/v-deo.html
Nice, I’m going to try this out next week
Great video mate! Just a couple of questions to confirm as you mention at the end - did the signal from the console have any effects or EQ or was it just totally clean as you said?
Completely CLEAN
Blessings, I was wondering how you routed your output to the livestream. thank you
Iglesia Cristiana Betel Inc. hello. We use a scarlet interface now. We use the usb card out of the x32 into logic via usb. Then out through a scarlet 2
How can I get the aux 1 and 2 on the logic pro as channel ???
Very easy and helpful tips 👏👌
I love you so much right now bro

@@antranigP I’ve never had that issue.
How do i stop the solo from entering my master output used for livestreaming
Did you ever figure out if the sound came in clean from the x32 without compression, gate, eq, etc...
Sends come right after the preamp and before any processing.
It comes in clean.... nothing on it at all --- Hey guys! I did a followup video for you Part 2! Listen to this ua-cam.com/video/fj1uWqinSmI/v-deo.html
yes I think it is clean just off the head amp
How do i send my logic mix to another pc on thesame network via dante?
So helpful!! Thanks!
Hi I got a question hope you can help me
We got a midas m32 I connected same like you did it on video but I don’t get no signal.
Do I need to download any software of midas or anything like that. Thanks
How do you send Aux in to logic
You use a headphone splitter?
This is a good question.
Hope you can respond fast! What specific MacBook are you using and which exact version of Logic?
Hello..... its about a 2016 mac laptop.... logic pro 10X
You need to update your X32 firmware!
Hey. Confused about one thing. Going through logic, won’t it bypass the mutes? So in other words, isn’t every mic (like the pastors) on all the time?
it does bypass the mutes.... but you just have the livestream mixer mute them.... we have a dedicated person mixing the logic mix
Nice video. I have a question. Can I use the mixer as an input and output device with logic pro for live music?
I think so but can you clarify the output device goal? It definitely does act as an input device for logic.
miguel ortiz yes it does for sure as an input device. But clarify what you want as an output device? To the mains foe live? Then yes.
Worship Band Builder so basically I would like to get all the inputs into Logic Pro and then output the modified sound through the mixer at the same time. just like an audio interface.
miguel ortiz yes. It can be done.
How do you do that please

So basically soundboard to laptop and laptop to streaming platform? What did you use to get the soubd from the laptop to the streaming platform?
to get the audio out from logic on our mac over to our streaming device... we did at first just use the headpone out on the computer... but we upgraded to the scarlet i2 interface... then out of that into the ATEM mini streaming device.

Thank you for sharing. I have a question. Is your template works with ALLEN & HEATH Qu-You 32?
Japheth Trigo yes. It’s a logic template Ana it will connect to any mixer if your mixer does connect to the computer like the x32. Just select the correct inputs.
@@WorshiptheKingMusic Awesome! Thank you so much for the reply. God bless!
Hello, can you clarify how you got the audio from one computer to the other?
Usb out of the x32 into logic. Then I use the scarlet interface to send the audio out into t he atem pro
hey what if I want to mute my mics can it mute on logic if I mute from x32
thanks
No it won't
So i have a question? So when you first started you setup with logic? Did you have any interference with the audio?
the only hum we had going out to our livestream was a little high pitch hiss which I killed with a small hum eliminator box.
No, the faders on the mixer do not affect the sound on the livestream.
the signal going to the livestream is directly after the MAIN GAIN knob
so how do you send the mix to your live stream software like vmix , ops etc..
we go out of our interface into the ATEM mini streaming platform.
Did you confirm that the audio coming from the x32 is post preamp but pre-EQ? I'm sending our 32 channels to a broadcast room (using Dante) and I can't find anything that confirms this. Thanks in advance!
Yes I did--- I think it is pre EQ. it comes just directly off the preamp as far as I can tell
Is there a part 2?
here is a video showing me mixing it ua-cam.com/video/Ps1mTTfhu54/v-deo.html

How can I get my Aux 1 and 2 ?
Spider Pig do you mean use your audio 1 and 2 for a mix out?
With your streaming how are you running your audio into your stream and are you using something like that atem studio HD?
Yes we are running this audio over to the Atem Pro
how do you setup up the x32 I mean how do you route on the x32 in order for the logic capture those channels and send to the streaming computer I appreciate any advice.

I tried it. Didn't work for me
might seem like a silly question, but by changing the card, you aren't messing with the PA mix right? So in theory the band can play and people could hear it through the PA, if they were there, and you can also recording into logic?
That’s correct. They are two different mixes.
Why don’t you simply route everything to a Matrix, then route that to the live stream.
You can do a separate mix there.
Nice video tho.
Hiortintexas Racing yeah of one guy is going to try to mix both live and foh, but it’s not ideal. I did that a few weeks and it’s ok. Plus logic gives som much more flexibility to do a real broadcast mix.
