To send the audio into Live, you need to start recording in a DAW. The audio will then pass through into Live. However, if you don't want to record, the audio can still pass directly into Live without the need to start recording in the DAW.
@@LeeKobe1 I personally choose to record just to have all separate tracks and do a clean mix afterward for special event, if needed. But it's optional, you don't need to record.
We are currently mobile and we go behringer xlr out 5 and 6 to XLR in to Scarlett 2i2 then into Mac mini where we combine video and audio via streamlabs out to Facebook and UA-cam. It's decent but we have a long way to go. In house sounds good. Livestream is tough.

Great explanation and been trying to figure this out for years. I’m assuming you can send this out from a mixer into an audio interface into a phone if you don’t have a atem?
i have been doing. live for my small church but the set up is very more simple than this so, when we live the sound tend to be very bad especially when its loud. and the singers voice are loud in the live while the instruments are low but if i turn doen the volume on my mixer for the singer thier voice aren’t loud in real life. could it be that i need to connect to laptop like you did?
This has been very helpful how do you deal with the latency. I’ve tried it and it worked but sometimes the video and the audio don’t sync. Can you please help me with that thanks
We’re about to do the same in out church but the console it far away from our livestream room so i need to run 150 ft usb cable from the console to livestream Mac , i was wondering if usb cable that long would do the job or the communication would be compromise ?? It there any other way to do
Hey. I used this setup, and my stream sounds really "computer" like. Is there a specific setting that I need to change within the ATEM? Any help would be great!
Quick question, if I route the output from the DAW back to the soundboard like a BUS/AUX could I then use a cable to directly connect to the ATEM.? and would the audio be mixed from the DAW or coming back unmixed. Wanting to know if I could eliminate an interface since digital soundboards are technically interfaces themselves.
Did you find a solution to this? I tried sending the sound back into the mixer from reaper on the computer as a Proof of Concept and it conceptually worked. I am working on adding essential plugins and run extensive test during the service.
I am using a Pc... I tried this set up on ableton... But asio driver for x32 will not allow me select another audio interface like the scarlet... Please help... Also, when I tried to activate both behringer 32 driver and my Maudio interface... The x32 only offered 8 inputs instead of 32 inputs.. Please help
I know this is an older vid, but I'm having bitrate audio issues with our livestream, direct to YT. Sounds like it's under water. Would this setup help with that? We have an X32 straight into the ATEM pro using a bus mix in the X32. Thanks!
It’s got to be a setting issue. Are you using a high quality stream inside the atem. There are settimgs you have to pay attention to inside the atem stream settings. .
@@WorshiptheKingMusic Ive got my audio set thru the audio section of the atem, but it still sounds "under water". Would it help to go thru OBS instead of straight to YT?

Hi... Seeing your question reminds me of one issue I'm facing with tracks... Whenever I run ambient pads in one track and vocals and guitar on another, Google meet would capture more of the ambient pad and hardly any guitar and vocals... Do you know anything about this issue?
Hi. what if we take output X32 will it work? cause let's say we are using single MacBook for using Logic Pro along with OBS for live stream ... will it be efficient ?
No, you do not control the level in logic on the x32.... the logic receives the signal just after the preamp. so you control the house on the x32 fader and the logic stream inside logic
Hello quick question. We just did this same exact setup and still having a distorted sound. It sounds good in the headphones but bad on the stream for UA-cam. What do you think is causing this? Does Wi-Fi signal strength affect the sound? Or is it just not mixed properly in Logic? Thank you!
Check to make sure that your signal going into the atem switcher is not too hot. If the headphone mix is ok and the mix going into the switcher is above 0db, you may be distorting the input of the switcher.
One thing that I noticed when I tried a similar set up is that when I compressed the audio (mainly on the output) in logic, I would get a distorted sound. I believe this has something to do with the signal being tuned from digital into analog in real-time through the interface and for some reason it didn’t like the compressor. Not sure if this is what you’re experiencing, but we moved to Dante, therefore keeping the audio digital all the way through and this preserved the audio quality very well!
good day I am having some major issues with my sound coming through youtube clearly. the music section is trach and sounds really bad. my daw is connected to my streaming computer, and the sound is clear and then when I listen to it on your told its in a mess. can you tell me why and what issue I'm having?
After days of searching I finally found a video that showed exactly what I was looking for thank you very much.
Glory to God!! Thanks for serving the Lord thru this.
Awesome illustration!
This is brilliantly simple.
You can do the same by having just 1 20 ins/out interface to DAW > mac Blackhole (routing) > OBS for streaming. less hardware/cables
Hi Patrick, How do you mean? Can you explain further, please
@@olukunleemmanuel4790 what he trying to say is instead using the scarlett interface you can use a virtual one that is call blackhole
