    hey Jason, thanks for the update! This also solves a problem I had reorienting the rotation axis by piece, as I was getting weird quaterniony behaviors when applying the modifier. Thanks for posting!

    Thanx a lot for your tutorial !
    I was able to apply your chopnet workflow, but for an emulation of C4D's Decay/Delay feature which makes animation smoothing to each piece.
    Just used a filter node in chops, instead of spring.
