Long standing rumor is the director of the video told them to do that. Mad props to those extras for not breaking. No way in hell I'd be able to sit there like a zombie with Golden Earring playing live in front of me. (and I was born in 87, so never got a chance to appreciate their best years)
Golden earring: older than rolling stones, best drummer in the world, dirty videoclips and with this song it has one of the best roadtrip songs ever made. They are quite famous worldwide.
OMG....I LOVE this song...it's in my play list along with Gary Wright "Dream Weaver" and Foreigner's "Juke Box Hero" they all came out after I was born in 1961... LOL... Thanks as always for another Great Reaction!!!!✌️💖✌️
1973- I was 14 y/o and had my first full blown love hots for a guy at the beach. One week-end, he and his friends showed up at my house, blasting this song! We did multiple shots and shot guns, before he got back in the car and took off. I fell in love.............😛 This is also the song that my brother would blast when we were driving home late at night. Underage drinking, back when drinking age was 18. That meant we could get into bars at 16. Laws were very loose back then.
George Kooymans cofounder and lead guitarist has ALS. This band has so many great songs that you should hear. They have a huge discography. Great band and terrific live performances.
Welcome to Golden Earring hombre!!!!! Great driving down the highway music/band/vibe!!!! Try the tune Twilight Zone sometime!!!!! So says Stephen from Austin Texas!!!!! 🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎🍸
I remember my older brother playing this in the early 80’s and oh my gosh, I’ve only heard it a handful of times since! Thanks so much for bringing back the mems!! Killer vocals!
Twilight Zone is also a banger. I know this band has a lot of great songs, but those two songs are their biggest hits. Absolute classics. Good chance everyone had gotten at least one speeding ticket to either of these songs. 😆
Oh yes Twilight zone by them is a great song to listen to while you kick back smoke a little and get totally lost in the sause if you know what I mean.🥴😉💜
I love this song..I was 20 in 73...one thing...this is lip synced version...the guitars aren't plugged in...there is no backup guitar that you can hear...no horn section...and the crowd is sitting like dummies, more concerned if the cameras are on them than what the group is doing...lol...song is still great though
yeah...this looks like one of those "Top of the Pops" shows (BBC)..and they always just have the audience sitting there doing nothing. Also..obviously lip synched so..so who knows what it really sounded like live...awesome song though.
I got 2 for you totally opposite from what you just heard that I promise you you're going to fall in love with these two that I have for you the first one. Shel Silverstein the great smoke off. And the other is Jefferson Airplane Go Ask Alice
Please react to Doe Maar- Is Dit Alles, also a populair Dutch band, maybe in the Netherlands even more populair. You won't understand the lyrics because they are in Dutch, but their music is wicked!
Thats called "Song Dynamics".... People don't DO that anymore, which is sad as shit! You like this, as EVERYONE likes this, because it takes you on a ride! There are ups, downs, twists, and turns. Its a lost damned art! But I have hope that it will show back up again, because of people like you reactor guys hearing it and realizing that music has lost something in the pursuit of "rhe perfect single", ya know? 😎
Hard not to speed to this one while driving. Classic banger!!!
Lol 😂
Thanks for watching i appreciate it
I've seen them many times in my youth/teens, they were a great band from the Netherlands.
Everybody says love to drive to this song!!! It's a jam for sure!!!
This is on my "Long distance playlist" when I'm cruising 750+ miles on I-95 in the middle of the night.
Radar Love is a classic groove song. And if you listen to it when your driving, turn it up!

70s was a good time for rock, they were mixing it with some blues here.
I have seen them live that period and the former drummer ws my neighbour in The Hague.
This was before Queen got big, told ya the 70s were fire🔥Rock on man
70s = 🔥 music
They stopped playing this year, in march 2021.

@@dubzer0649 In their 70's. One of the band members got ALS and so they had to stop.

The audience is statue like because the studio manager threatened to kick them out if they showed any kind of emotions.
I personally blame the public school system for nobody knowing about Golden Earring and Radar Love. Shame shame shame!
Buckle up and enjoy this classic gem. Thanks.

Audience should go home & go to bed! How can they sit there like that? Great song!!
