Underground Pass Locked UIM (not really but may as well be with how long I was here) | Unguided #13

- this quest-line has twists and turns the whole way through it...
Please like and comment if you enjoyed as it helps the algorithm :) it's much appreciated. Thank you!
Welcome back to Unguided, where I'm trying to complete every quest in old school runescape without using a guide, wiki or any plugins. I'll only be using my limited knowledge and in-game learnings. Full rules below.
RULES
- No use of OSRS wiki (or any equivalent) for anything - this includes looking up item spawns, quest guides, boss guides, anything
- No use of any other quest helper sites
- No use of quest helper plugin
CAVEATS
- I love OSRS UA-cam, I might inadvertently learn something I don't know by watching my favourite content creators, but I'm not going to stop watching them so that's just a risk I'm willing to take + it's unlikely going to be relevant for me
- I'm going to try and avoid any spoiler comments. If you can, please try not to help me if there's an episode where I'm stuck on something. I appreciate the sentiment but telling me an item spawn or quest step could spoil the fun :)

I've never seen someone so elated to see the fire at Zul-Andra.
Getting excited for fire at Zulrah is an element why I love this series
So nice to see your genuine reaction to story unfolding :D
Wait till you have to do Mournings End part 2 and Song of the Elves. That'll be a huge undertaking.
Yeahhh... this episode is exactly why I could never tolerate questing unguided like this. I never do quests without looking up what items I'll need first.
I like figuring out quests _mostly_ on my own, because it's not fun just following a guide step-by-step, it just feels like being an errand boy.
But having to spend hours running back and forth a dozen times every time I need a specific item just makes me hate the quest and my life.
It is genuinely painful at times
It’s the older quests that are the worst for this tbf - and some of it could’ve been avoided with careful reading haha. Newer quests are lot better at avoiding that
Why I hate quests too. Always forget something even with a guide XD The series been making me want to finish up the last 30~ I got though.
Been using a guide but I at least have been taking in the stories from the quests. Getting a better appreciation for the quests.
God I don't miss this quest, well done and keep up the great uploads!!
Thank you! Appreciate the support
This channel is so underrated. When i got your video recommended i subscribed instantly. I really love these series!
Keep up the grind man :) There will be some rough quests ahead but that quest cape will be a huge flex.
I've always told people to do what you want in this game instead of following meta. Love you are doing this solely for the fact you want Crystal Bow. Absolutely the reason to play this game.
Another walk through the Underground pass :,) I love the videos, great job!
At least you get the above ground pass near the "making history" quest after Regicide.
15:30 There is literally a fire on the top left of the screen my guy
💀😭
that's the fire from the bow repair people. they like to teleport and douse their fire right as you get there
that's the start point of the next quest Roving Elves. Not entirely sure if it's accessible at this point, or if they won't put out the fire when you get there.
Loving the series so far, keep up the good work!
Just did the Regicide quest and came back to see how you did it. Seriously impressed.
this title has me laughing haha. this inspired me to do the same, been questing f2p and enjoyin
Yess good luck!
God I am not looking forward to doing underground pass on an alt anytime soon. I am generally not an angry person, and somehow quests from Ardougne tend to sneak in blood boiling ones.
On a different note: you're easily my favorite IM series on here right now! Seeing you go unguided and really enjoy the quests is awesome to see, especially since I'm very guilty of spacebarring and skipping through them in both OSRS and RS3. Keep it up! :)
Good luck! It is an infuriating questline in terms of the gameplay, but the story is so good.
Thanks so much! That means a lot, really appreciate the support.
I only did Underground Pass once, on my main, but I never fell so I didn't get what all the hate was about. Even on that thing with the unique path for every player, I just ran straight across on the left side 😂
I love the series, its liek if Runescape was an offline campaign type game
As someone who has done Underground Pass and Mourning's End P2 as a UIM
I can understand the frustration lmaoo
Oh man, this is what the player base misses about 2007scape, its the cluelessness, nice vid man, love to experience your noobing around, its the original unfiltered classic runescape experience! ♥
also glad to see you survived that trap at the very beggining of the video :DD
9:28 oh man oh man, you know its more stressful than it looks because its sped up, but cmon, let the viewers feel how stressful it is to do it, and experience it, again, thats the really nice original unfiltered classic runescape experience that people dont have anymore due to guides.
I feel like I will always advocate for slowing down and not speeding things and not skipping things in this series as much as possible xD Cause I feel it shines the most when you're confused or are walking too much, it captures the spirit of the grind, but not grinding the skills, grinding the fails and slowly learning...
go go Alien Food!!! You can do it!!! Wooooo!! Yeah!!! (
Haha thanks for the support!! Really appreciate it. Glad you’re enjoying the series and the noobing around :D
I love how your run energy is always in the red lmao
Very entertaining series! I do not envy you once it comes time to do Mourning End Pt 2 or Song of the Elves if you get that far. The storyline is great, but the puzzles are so difficult without guides
Yeah I’m not looking forward to that, have heard bad things 😅
was great to watch! best of luck
Love learning all this lore
This is a fucking fantastic concept for an account. About to watch the whole series while I grind.
Thank you! I hope you enjoy
im very impressed with how the distilling the coal tar only took you 2 tries!
How just howw. Are you still under 1k subs? Its damn criminal
I’ll get there one day I hope! 🫡 thanks for the support
Oh crikey this guy is in for a shocker in a few quests' time...
great start 🤍
Love the videos Wooly!
My first time doing Regicide, I was using a guide....... and I still managed to mess up my first barrel of naphtha AND HAD TO GO ALL THE WAY BACK AGAIN
my hatred for this quest knows no bounds
Iban's body was the major hurdle that kept me stuck for about 3 weeks. By some miracle I found the answer but yeah might as well set up a house in the pass
Has this series made you appreciate osrs lore and story telling more?
100%. I never knew half the stuff I’m finding out playing this way
❤❤❤ great stuff
❤️
Loving the series so far! Will the quest cape be the only goal for this account or do you have other plans for it?
Thank you! It’s the main goal for sure, but I reckon there’ll be some unguided bossing in there as well, I can imagine that being quite fun.
Oh yeah the 2:15am upload lets goooo
Maltese? Or like Tasmanian?
Spooky that I read this comment literally precisely at 2:15 AM.
They kind of did a great job making the good guy look bad, makes sense the player is tricked...
Lets gooooo crystal boooow
Almost there!!!
It’s a cool questline but this is brutal. Freaking pestle and mortar lol…. I agree quests should be one of the hardest thing in a game. I’m sure these sort of things were intended to add ‘difficulty’ to questing or at least up the satisfaction in the end. Good times
The fact you can't charter a boat is actually criminal. I would sue Jagex for emotional trauma. 💢
Would asking a stranger bypasser to light you a fire break your rules?
Probably not to be fair! As long as there’s no exchange of information I didn’t previously have
hahahahah i laughed alot in this quest.
The rabbit part would've been the perfect opportunity to use barbarian firemaking with your bow lmao
Nah still need a log: he had a tinderbox haha he didn’t have an axe!
I hated the Underground pass. You hated the Underground pass. We ALL hated the underground pass.
But we all loved that twist. After all that hard work and finally getting that awesome payoff of BOMBING the king with a CATAPULT.
"you killed the wrong dude. Bummer."
For your After-video Tip of not spoilery spoils.
Yes. Most people are doing Tempeross for their fishing nowadays.
And Arandar Pass is weird/stupid. It's a great way to skip Underground pass...OR you could just pay 3200gp and get there by Charter. Which I guess was more expensive back when it was first released? Either way it's unlocked for you to use now also.
It’s so funny, I did these quests maybe 3-4 years ago but when using the quest helper I literally didn’t read anything and didn’t even notice the twist!
Also that’s a shame, I loved when catherby was busy
The game really has some great lore. Yes even RS3 does too. Their latest gimmick is actually fantastic. Necromancer who wants to save everyone from death by making them eternal UNdead.
Sorta. He's kinda insane.@@AlienFoodage
I remember when I first got membership, one of the first things I did (after buying a bunch of colored gloves/boots in Canifis so I could resell 'em in f2p worlds and make bank) was do Regicide, 'cause I just really wanted a dragon halberd. It took me.. a very long time, but boy does it make you appreciate lodestones being a thing in modern RS
Ohh yes. The dragon halberd is so cool. I loved it before I even knew that you could safe spot using it, then I was just obsessed with it 😂
Nafta
Tyrus wasn’t exactly a good king anyway. He was so busy trying to be a hero he neglected his actual responsibilities and got so many people killed and enslaved. Perhaps he could have been better if told the truth but he certainly didn’t earn any respect from his actual accomplishments
People say that The Underground Pass quest is AIDS, but I think Regicide was the true AIDS all along
hmm, thers nothing i can set fire to...
