Welcome back to Unguided, where I'm trying to complete every quest in old school runescape without using a guide, wiki or any plugins. I'll only be using my limited knowledge and in-game learnings. Full rules below.
RULES
- No use of OSRS wiki (or any equivalent) for anything - this includes looking up item spawns, quest guides, boss guides, anything
- No use of any other quest helper sites
- No use of quest helper plugin
CAVEATS
- I love OSRS UA-cam, I might inadvertently learn something I don't know by watching my favourite content creators, but I'm not going to stop watching them so that's just a risk I'm willing to take + it's unlikely going to be relevant for me
- I'm going to try and avoid any spoiler comments. If you can, please try not to help me if there's an episode where I'm stuck on something. I appreciate the sentiment but telling me an item spawn or quest step could spoil the fun :)

6:27 the madness of the scene only gets funnier once you realize Ardougne is RIGHT THERE next to it. The idea that the Ardougnians are just kind of ignoring a full on war is just amusing to me. I suppose that isn't the weirdest thing happening around Ardougne...
Also man the dragon scimitar and MM1 gives me some memories. I was actually the first and only kid from my highschool that completed monkey madness. Classmates would actually ask me to come to their house, play on their account and do the quest for them for some gold and snacks. They got amazing when I did it without a guide, because I had just done it that often for others.
Anyways loving the series man, you're easily the most entertaining of the should-have-way-more-subs channels in this community!

genuinely impressed that you've been able to get so far guideless. Really brings out the best of what the game has to offer when you need to pay attention to the dialog and read the books instead of having a plugin solve everything for you

I also struggled to find one tracker gnome but not the same gnome as you. They seem to wander a bit.

@@AlienFoodage Tell you what, I did One Small Favour unguided and that was surprisingly easy. I reckon you could knock that out in under 2 hours.

Phenominal series idea! One suggestion would be having 3 or so lifelines to "phone a friend" for advice with a quest! They wouldn't be able to use external help either but could prevent things like the plank hunt in the dragon slayer quest haha. Just a thought!
Thank you! Someone else suggested the same sort of idea and I definitely might have to use it. I think only as a last last resort, if I really think the account will be blocked then perhaps something of that sort, love the idea.
Dramen branch and knife isn't a weapon but you can craft a staff from them

Ok. First of all. EXCELLENT editing on this video. Very nice cutting out parts and leaving in relevant parts. Very very hard to do right and you seem to have the touch. Keep in mind that most the enjoyment people are getting is the Clueness nature of no wiki. So make sure to leave in your confusion. Your revelations from confusion to figuring things out. This isn't a walkthrough of how to do the quests. It's a Autobiography of you attempting completing quests. We are here for YOUR journey. So leaving in YOU is the important bit. ESPECIALLY the confusion and "oh dangit. Need this one thing from the bank."
Narration is pretty good. Perhaps some Pop filter might be in order. As an addition. Perhaps add in the music where you can. The game music or your own. People hearing that one particular track again is always a strong hit.
As for my regular Post episode tips that don't spoil?
Hmm. Nothing is really coming to mind. Except a reminder that you can now use the Spirit tree. So a reminder to check them out. GE to Gnomes is a really nice teleport.
Oh and keeping some teleports on you at all times is a pretty good idea. Even at a sacrifice of carrying food for unexpected quest combat.

Yeah. It's pretty quiet. Instead of JUST increasing it's volume. (which means yet another audio channel...Having pauses in conversation to have empty margins in talk for music instead (like white margins in a paper make it easier to read)@@AlienFoodage

Some bizzare locks in this game that make little sense - cant use a dds but can buy it from reldo ... Cant wear a rune plate unless you kill a dragon ... So odd 😂

Yes yessss! I'd love that! It's not that difficult to make an ASMR-ish reading, biggest thing to avoid is a shift in loudness when people have their volumes raised high
