This was epic. To this day I didn't know you could free those trolls with almost any weapon - no guide ever tells you that. They tell what you must bring, and I realized it has made me think that these quests must be really complex since how should anyone know that, but in fact there might be multiple similar kind of situations where there are many correct items. And just the idea that a quest can be done slightly differently is interesting, who knows what else he'll discover here. Also I think you must be one of the first ones to ever kick that god to death lmao. Epic content as usual.

Talking about inventory management. Doing this quest on a UIM was painfuö but the reward of 120000 herblore experience makes it so worth it and in general it is one of my favourite quests in the game

I love the content! This is my favorite osrs series by far. Went back to the beginning and watched the entire thing from the start until the most recent episode. I can't wait to see the future progression on the series!

I remember 20 years ago seeing a schoolmate playing RuneScape on one of the school computers. I asked him what it was (because it looked horrid to me), and he told me about it. I wasn't interested until a week later when I created an account and logged in for the first time. Right then and there, on Tutorial Island, I knew I was hooked. I still play to this very day. 😭😭 I wish I could take back all the time spent on this game.

The reason for your constant problems in the ice section was basically not really paying attention to what it told you: your stats are going down. Why are you tripping and falling on your face constantly? Because your attack stat was probably in the basement after that long trek. Remember, when runescape gives you a mechanics note, you should probably think about how you're gonna deal with it xD. A few status restores would have made the whole thing go down smooth. Good fuckin' job doing without though.

There's several of each of the warriors because this quest is a relic from Runescape Classic. There were no instances back then, so they added multiple in case several people were doing the quest and this bit was crowded.

I played this way back around 2018 I got through the majority of quests, but didn't finish off everything. I took a break and more and more quests were added and haven't really touched questing much since. One of the reasons is because a bunch of my friends were asking me to record or stream my no guide questing and I just was too nervous to set it all up and share my experiences live. But recently I decided to get back to it and have been streaming my no guiding adventures trying to finish off the last quests I have. I have some rules I like to follow when no guiding quests... no guides obviously, and if I get stuck, I take as long as I need to figure it out. Recruitment drive took me a few weeks to a few months because of this lol (until I happened to skip the chemistry trial which I never figured out lol). Secondly I don't use the GE under any circumstances to aquire items I need in the quest kinda like an ironman, so I have to make or gather the needed items myself. I turn off any client plugins like ground markers, agility, or anything that might give me a hint as to what to do or what to click on. If a teleporation method wasn't available at the date the quest was released (and I am aware of it) I don't use that tele. This was especially fun when doing darkness of hallowvale which I just completed recently. --- I just want to say, I'm so incredibly happy to see other players playing like this. These quests were designed to be experienced and enjoyed, not rushed through to achieve the reward. They are infinity more exciting and fun to do when you challenge yourself to play this way. Unfortunately many players don't see the point since it's not directly contributing to xp or gold... such a shame, but good on you for seeing through the community pressure and playing the game how you want to. For Hero's Quest, I'm happy for the exception, I'd be kind of upset if you made other people who were only there to help you out sit around while you searched every crate, barrel, tapestry, or suspicious looking carpet trying to figure out what to do, lol. For stuff where you have to involve other people's time, you shouldn't fuss about your rules if someone says something in game.

I've done DT a few times and I've always wondered if there was some random way to get the diamond from the troll child without fighting Kamil and then freeing the parents. Especially after the way Legends quest was completed. Makes me wonder what unknown paths might be out there in this old game lol

Just binged your entire series. By far, hands down, my absolute favorite series on UA-cam, and I watch a lot of content. Thank you for helping me relive my childhood as well as learning more lore that I skipped over. So hyped for the future of this series.

it was much more enjoyable to do rs quests unguided, but sometimes irritating because you wouldn't be given hints sometimes. So I'd look up the specific steps or ask for help🤷 guides didn't always work back then. I see they still haven't fixed the quest log that's classic jagex. The difficulty does irritate you to the point you want to keep playing and overcome it.

I just binged the whole series and now there's no more episodes what do I do?
