Apparently, counting a few thousand dollars one note at a time was somehow more efficient than turning her head 45° to the right and seeing the stolen money in the thief’s hand. 2.) The 🍕💩 Sgt. DID hear the citizen saying that the stolen money was visible and being hidden. So he walked up to the window to look, stands at the perfect angle to see the money AND the attempt to hide it. But apparently, it was more important for the Sgt. to ignore his lying eyes, turn to, and tell the citizen that he wouldn’t allow a citizen’s money to be stolen… (in theory but obviously not in practice) because Sarge felt it imperative for the citizen to stop looking at/ mentioning the theft in progress and direct 100% attention from reality to the hypothetical thought exercise where word is more important than deed. 3.) And lastly, round of applause for the officer who made the initial stop. His immediate reaction to the money being found in the door initially led me to believe that I saw my very first good cop ever. But nope. After knowing for sure that dude really did steal, he helped his buddy out by speaking in code to let the thief know that the body cam was running. Now, ask yourself if he ever made an arrest for a crime and stopped the suspect from speaking to avoid incriminating himself/herself on the record.

99.99% are bad apples. Well said.
Noticed how Chapman stood in the way from the door
You peeped that too, he was not trying to let that sergeant near the car, who sits n a car while an arrestees is questioning a situation that involved you? I’d be standing toe to toe defending myself
Did he say he wasn’t stealing it, he forgot he took it out and put it in the door 😒😡 say what?
Mr. Moon is on point ..
You truly made me PROUD .. God bless you .. Awesome 👍👍👍👍👍 💯💯💯💯
13:50 "I wasn't stealing, I did take it out but forgot I put it in the damn door" . Unbelievable!!!! literally.
We DEMAND the chapman interview.
All I need to say and really it goes way beyond this young man not only speaking up for himself but we this country needs more men like this. If he isn't trying to be an attorney or someone that stands up for the people it's Him! Love you man Take Care Kimo
Shouldn;t trust that female officer.
The arrested guy has situational awareness like no other! Good for him! Officers like Chapman are a disgrace to the vast majority of officers who are good.
Investigate the female also, she was doing everything to distract the brother, she would probably get a cut of the cash if Chapman got away with it.
Imagine paying your taxes for the protection of law enforcement only to have them steal from you too. I would be distraught. I feel so bad for the guy.
When he said “That ain’t my money” is when fucxed up 😂😂😂

He would have been better off saying, “that’s my money. I’ve had it in the door since before I showed up”. The minute he saw that money he started thinking about what he was going to buy for himself. And had he gotten away with it, what bill would not get paid that month for Mr. Moon? Insurance? Electric? Rent? Groceries?…I know that if I had $900 of my bill money stolen, it would take me a while to recover from that.
They are so used to lying and being believed without question.
lmao... he was like go ahead and check my pockets...PLEASE look at me, look look, look at me.... as if that would deter them from checking inside the car... he just wanted it all to stop..... then said, that aint my money... Im like WE KNOW IT AINT YO MONEY, you stole his money... this aint me man... man just hursh....
it’s him trying to guard the door for me once he finally did step out 😂
🤣😳🤣😳

Has there been a CMPD press conference or official statement of this? This thing is viral now and if they have not, they definitely should.
Thank you CMPD for the transparency by posting this video!!
The Sargent allowed the officer to move and blocked his view, the agency should investigate more deeper!!

He looks right down at the door panel…trying to see if the money is exposed. And the way Chapman talked to the guy…it was degrading. Trying to make him believe that he didn’t see what he JUST saw.
2:20 Chapman is leaning / reaching in car window, to do what? Crumple something up? Move or disguise something? And a minute later he’s emptying his pockets to prove he doesn’t have anything? Like Mr. Moon says, I saw you do WAY too much.
You got corrupt officers, then you have officers who know about them, but look the other way. It's a never-ending cycle.
The scumbag thought this was drug money and was going to get away with it.
buddy cooked
Cop "That aint my money"
AP "That's my money"
Whole World " F*ck that Corrupt Cop"
Imagine saying "I wasnt stealing, I took it out and I forgot I put it in the darn door". But why did you crumple it up and put it in the door officer? Please tell us why. 😮
@@Letsberealish 😂
He stole the receipt too. It was with the money 😂😂
@@auschwitzsoccercoachOmg the receipt was bin the door with the money 😂😂😂😂
WHATA BLACK EYE FOR THE DEPARTMENT😢
1:55 she says hold on HOLD ON. LMAO ONLY IF SHE KNEW WHAT WAS COMING. LOL.
Pony tail pissed she didn’t get her cut today 😂😂
This corrupted cop gave a bad name to his police department. 🤦♀️
this was wild
I’m glad they listened to him
I'M so damn glad this fool is getting charged with embezzlement and is no longer employed.
Looks like the other cops knew what was going on, and was trying everything to keep their fellow officer out of trouble until the door was open
Yep. Filthy bunch.
I forgot I took the money out and put it in the door. That’s impossible
Dirty cop. Glad he got caught.
Officer Chapman's days of being a Police officer are over. Caught red handed
Sad thing is, they always get a slap on the wrist. Notice how he was allowed to resign..
I want to say this to the cop who was on the bike. dude you are a cool cop we need 100s like you. Go back and watch the frist interaction with the MOON the cop that tried to take the money was all pushy when you and Hit were getting moon out of the car. My thoughts is that you did a great job getting him out the other guy started talking and you can see MR Moon change in his way of talking. You 100% could of handled that way better in you were in a car to take MOON
How do you know he wasn’t in it also? They all knew what was going on. They are not naive or stupid.
The sgt was in on too and the female officer stay tunned😅😅😅
Charlotte-Mecklenberg PD, I commend you for posting these vids. I think you need to hire the detainee and also post the vid of Chapman's admission/deposition/confession/interview.
"Wasn't stealing it, I did take it out, and I forgot I put it in the damn door". Yeah right 😂 What a lying POS
Where’s the arrest video of the officer?
20:22 what did she whisper? 🤔 Officer Lak kept it moving 🤣🤣
She said "don't put it where they can see" while smiling....
I think she said "Don't believe what he said"
@@tazopicker that’s wat I heard smh
Sounds like she said, " dont repeat what he said." ....meaning what Chapman said to Officer Lak...when he admits that he did not steal but forgot he placed it on the door.
Good for you buddy exposing this pos cop!!
13:52 - say no more.
