Hello, I just recently had my biopsy and was told a couple days ago I have CCCA and I wanted to know have you tried emu oil, and if so your thoughts on it. It’s definitely more of a fatty oil and it’s “supposed to” be able to penetrate the scalp a little better than some of the other oils out there.
I have not tried emu oil yet, but I have heard that it is a awesome oil for the scalp and body. If you try it, keep me updated. Thanks for commenting!
I was diagnosed with CCCA Alopecia and the dermatologist have me using Minoxidil... Seen little results. My temples are very thin to balding, more so the left side and the crown area and underneath have hair loss and thinning, basically my whole head. What shampoo and conditioner would you recommend and hair oil?
I love pumkin seed oil because it is known to help stop some of the DHT that attaches to the hair follicles that causes the hair loss with alopecia. I take a pumkin seed oil supplement as well as using it topically. I also have a video on what I did to grow back most of my hair with CCCA. Hi do you use them in parallel with steroid or just the oil?
I get the steroid injections every 2-3 months. I use my oils with my normal hair care regimen 2-3 times a week.

So steroid injection is a must or it can be treated without them?

One or the other. Sometimes I make a mixture and combine them in a applicator bottle.
