Hi Kimberly! Thanks for creating this channel. I recently was diagnosed with ccca alopecia and just started treatment (topical steroid and Doxycycline. My MD recommended that I try topical Rogaine as well but I'm not sure that I want to go that route).I also use some of the supplements, oils and hair care products that you recommended. If you don't mind sharing with us how often do you wash your hair and what is your current treatment plan?

It's a supplement that helps block DHT which is a hormone that causes the hair fall. My doctor checks my scalp at every visit. Thank ❤️

I only had 1 biopsy done to determine which type of alopecia I had. The doctor looks at my scalp during my visits to see if it has spread further. That will determine if the treatment plan is helping. Thankfully, mine has not been spreading.
