Hello Kimberly, Thank you so much for all the videos. All of your videos are very informative and uplifting for hope with alopecia. Can you please share if you know of any products that help to stop hair shedding with alopecia. Your videos are very much appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks so much! For hair shedding, I like the Mielle Organics Seamoss Collection. I have a video coming up next week on the line.
Hello Kimberly, very informative video. I began PRP-platelet rich plasma therapy for alopecia, admistered by my dermatologist, approximately one year ago. I've seen hair growth, but it's not permanent. Currently taking all the supplements mentioned, except for pumpkin seed oil, saw palmetto and nutrafol. Planning to add them to my hair care regimen. I'm a new subscriber. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Thanks!
When you say PRP isn't permanent, does that meen the PRP isn't permanent or the hair growth itself isn't permanent ?
@@shellbone22 She hasn't responded, but I can only assume that the hair growth is what she's referring to. PRP is never expected to be permanent.
Good morning beautiful. I started taking the turmeric vitamins. I want to continue as I may have inflammation in other areas of my body as well. I have pumpkin seed oil in the liquid I plan to use that on my scalp. I think I want to take a hair vitamin as well. I’m taking hair skin and nails for now.
Great video as always. I take vitamin d and nutrafol (which contains saw palmetto, turmeric, zinc and much more).
Thanks!
How’s it working for you?
Is the nutrafol working?
Thank you beautiful
I have the rogain pill from my doctor
Sounds like you have a good dermatologist. I haven't been so lucky. Don't some of these supplements interact with eachother? I am interested in trying the tumeric and pumpkin seed oil.
I have not had any issues with the supplements interacting with each other. They have been working for me.
Thanks for the update! Still stunning! Have you ever thought about microneedling? Or Low Level Laser Therapy? Adding those may enhance your excellent regamin.
I have considered laser therapy. I will be asking my dermatologist about it. Thanks!
@@KimberlyElese Fa Sho Sis! We're on this journey TOGETHER GIRL!!!!! God Bless!💜
@@KimberlyElese derma rolling really works.
Style is beautiful and makeup is beautiful. Vivisrol2👍
just watched your video, very informative, I will be trying all you suggested, should I use a hair oil and if so which would you suggest.
I have an oil and here's my video ua-cam.com/video/PmXxKfQy-PE/v-deo.htmlsi=62PAj7TuE4-FZ99W
I use hair oils. I mainly use Jamaican black castor oil.
Hi. If you’re taking vitamin D, please consider taking vitamin D with K2. K2 keeps the arteries from hardening. The K2 pushes the calcium into the bones and away from your soft tissue. I take the one with 10,000iu vitamin D with the MK7 form of K2. Also consider taking collagen. I’ve never had CCCA but my hair was thinning at one point. I took and still take collagen. I take both bovine and marine daily; at least 2-3 doses a day, but honestly when I was taking only one serving a day initially and saw a huge difference after one month. The other item is micronutrients/electrolytes. I like the ones by key nutrients but there are several out there.
Thanks; I’ve heard about K2. … I make homemade veggie soup with chicken bone broth (collagen) - it’s cheap and effective .
@@SDC1949 yeah sometimes when it cold I make it with chicken feet and beef bones but girl it’s just easier to buy it in bulk and it will ensure I take it daily. I’m so satisfied with my hair now. I recently added chicken collagen in the mix. It is type II which is more focused on the joints (off subject). My joints improved with just the bovine(which is type I & III)but I want to test out the chicken.
Hello beautiful Thanks for the information you shared. what about Biotin?
Biotin is good, however, it did not work on its own for me.
@@KimberlyEleseWas the mcg # u were taking at the time too low, just curious? For example taking 1,000 mcg instead of 5,000 mcg
I was diagnosed with scarring alopecia. I take zinc in liquid form. The rest in pills.
Minoxidil is known to cause hair growth, just raises the loos pressure…ugh
❤️
Thanks!
This person I know personally had a allergic reaction 2 rogaine
Hi,my scaring is in the front edges. I went to a dermatologist she did a biopsy and my inflammation was high. She put me on rogaine and a steroid cream 3 months ago. I do not see much results. Are you using a steroid cream? I'm not comfortable using this cream at all.but it did remove most of the scaring spots on my scale. I will try some of the vitamins thanks!
Question What exactly do they do with a biopsy?
@@juliemcdaniel499 They take a piece of your scalp to a lab
@juliemcdaniel499 i just had one done. They pinch and get a sample of your follicle through your scalp. It's not that painful.
Did you use some type of relaxer s curl or it natural
All natural.
Ive started MSM powder, lots of good reviews re hair growth. Also noticed the unwanted facial hair has almost stopped
What is msm powder please
Hey how often do you wash your hair
Once a week.
Are those for women only or for both men and women?
Men and women.
@@KimberlyElese I've had scarring alopecia for years. I don't know if those supplements will work on me since I've had alopecia for a long time.
@@KimberlyElese I forgot to ask. Will the supplements work on those who've had scarring alopecia for years?
Palmetto not pimento
Be careful with zinc as it’s a Goldilocks vitamin, in other words it has to be in sync with copper. Having too much zinc with too little copper can hinder hair growth.
I have all those vitamins.
I told the hair never back
Rogaine is something you’re gonna have to use forever.. it’s a chemical
Right which is why it will be my last resort.
@@candace7340I’m trying yo avoid meds at all cost. I really want my hair back. I’ve been on pumpkin seed oil and dht blockers for 3 months and notice a small difference. I’m about to add turmeric and see if that helps
I was taking vitamin d prescription, pumpkin seed oil, zinc, and stinging nettle. No improvement.
Vitamin D3 &K2, Biotin, pumpkin seed oil and MSM. I Also take liquid tumeric. I use a derma roller and found great Natural hair products from blackhair and skin care.
