- Today in South Africa the Dominion era will come to end, as the workers will be empowered against the government, and when the moment is right they will claim their full Independence.
However this is just the start of the struggle, as the Cape will take the Anti Colonialist Crusade and attempt to liberate the entire African contintent. Along the way we will be going for the Crusader Kings II achievement and will be pulling off every trick to make South Africa as strong as possible.

Why does nobody question the fact that we have to do ck2 as south africa of all places like it wasn’t even discovered or heard about at that time.
Probably because when the achievement was implemented South Africa was the only African country w a focus tree
It’s coz you have to do a focus called anti-colonialist crusade

As a co-designer of one of the first guides on this years ago, its nice to see how this achievement keeps us on our toes. Also, this is an excellent guide. Makes me want to play SA again! Good work!

Out of all of the ideas I got this one clicked the best, don't worry I liked many of the others too and will use them in time.
That being said however making this one was an experience, first recording turned out bad as my fans were far too loud. I didn't learn that until I was nearly doing editing it, second recording had some weird background noise so I went with this third recording. On the positive there was opportunity to refine the strats/recording, for instance I didn't do the train stab until the second recording.
God blees i have spent way to many fucking hours trying this with No fucking guide god damn thank you so much

The coming DLC, AAT, introduces the arms market. Maybe nations will be less willing to give stuff for free and more likely to sell.

Dang I literally just did this one, using Bitt3rsteel’s guide… managed to take London but the fight in Africa was brutal. I need to better use the lend lease mechanics, I used to hate it because I like my own equipments 😂 but I’m playing a minor!
this strategy still works in aat, i was able to get this achievement by doing the same strategy (except i didn't bother with attacking oman), it's probably easier with aat because you can by equipment instead of hoping the ai will lend lease it to you
Bro, nice guide, followed it step by step and it really worked, i was hoping this to be my hardest challenge in my hoi4 achivements run but sevres was more complicated thanks to this guide haha. The most complicated part for me was rotterdam, i had to restart like 6 times but to my own distraction. All in all well, done and thanks a lot.
If anyone is having any difficulty with navel invading the Netherlands, I found it easier to invade the two northen ports then encircling some divisions before focusing on Holland to end the war

It still confuses me that there's both a game and an achievement named CK2 I have melted CK2 so when I hear CK2 all I can think about is a map of Europe and random death screams playing.

Btw you should also include Sweden and Belgium (as long as it exists) in your lend-lease 'rotation'. They both have tons of guns because they start with a descent amount of factories.
Also the part where you had to plan your naval invasion before the republicans fold can be circumvented (if they didn't fix it already). Just plan an invasion from South Africa to the port in Spain where you want to start your invasion. You should then be able to plan a follow-up invasion from that port. Nevertheless you don't need to assign divisions to the first order so you can immediatly use the follow-up order to go directly from Spain.
Tension limit for democratic countries is 50%.

It really wouldn't matter, I ended up with +34k guns without Sweden and Belgium. Do it if you must but the outcome is largely the same.
amazing guide! however some things have changed weirdly, only region that is really safe in spain is murcia, ive done a couple of restarts and valencia and madrid was sometimes occupiied by nationalists, the naval invasion into roterdam doesnt work even with force attack, invade the top of netherlands and secure one of the ports, start producing artillery a bit earlier so you can add support artillery to the units that will be invading the netherlands, you can also get a lendlease out of the soviets a month after anshluss, not only france and germany, great guide!! :) PS: putting a spy inside of the netherlands helps
also thailand give a juicy lend lease as well
You could had taken war reparation and ressources right from continental Netherlands by changing their government.

awesome walkthrough/guide for the 2 achievements and i do like your other guides, too. however i have 1 criticism about your guides (and that is what i like about some other hoi4 youtuber): can you show which version of the game you are playing on in the future? or maybe in the video describtion?
it's practically impossible to take the netherlands, even tried recruiting extra units but I can't seem to take a single port

You somehow got from 69% stability to 54% from expand civil support, I tried following but the decision got me to 56% and then the civil trains got me to 51% which wasn't enough so there was a chain of delay. How did you get rid of the extra 2%?

Bubbles, I finally managed to get achievement in December 1940. Had to retry it five times to get it because I kept screwing up. Thanks for a great guide. BTW...do you have a Crusader Kings achievement?
idk why, but I had more stability than you did so commandeering the trains wasn't enough. Is that just rng?
A lot less countries will be willing to leand-lease to you now, but this strategy still works as of may 2024 :)

What doctorin do you use?
Two questions: Why can I basically only get lend-lease from Sweden? What do I need to do? I don't get near the same amount as in the video. And after capping Holland, how can you deploy 80 divs? I'm only allowed 11? Did something change?
Because the Arms Against Tyranny DLC changed mechanic of lend-lease, so, you just need to turn off the AAT DLC 😉
Bubbles I have a question. I just helped capitulate UK by April 1940 and managed to get everything EXCEPT Congo from Vichy France. I forgot to join Axis so I cannot justify war on them and Germany won't let me into Axis. What should I do? Does Vichy eventually get taken over by Germany and do the African colonies go back to Free France?

Why was taking Oman necessary for the achievement?
Lend-lease, notice how I didn't capitulate Oman until after I got enough equipment from ll.
I think if you take one state from the Netherlands which doesn't prevent Germany from pushing into Belgium, Germany should still be ok to invade them, so it ought to be easier to naval invade the UK this way
And the worst part is hoping to invade britain, lol
