Like, Congo feels like it's creators made the Democrstic Belgium loyal path first, than put in the communsit tree, and like a week before realse they remembered that congo doesn't have a fascist path so they added something on top. Like, Democratic Congo is good, Communist Congo is fine, Monarchsit and Fascist congo is just bad.

The idea I had to make being a German Protectorate as the last monarch was for that path to reactivate the joint Belgium/Congo tree with Germany as the European beneficiary. You could funnel lots of rubber up to the Germans while having an actually fun time in Africa, and it would easily set you up to get the Congolese Belgium achievement in the peace deal.

I hate how Congo tree poorly made. They literally used Congo for a test subject of overlord-dominion tree and didn't care it slightly. Whole these Monarchist paths except fascist one are jokes. Very limited expansion options and no white peace.

One of the great strengths of house of Agua Rosada that you missed is not directly annexing Angola as soon as you can. Angola will always go for industry focuses and if you let them alive for a year and then you annex them while having conc/disp industry 3 you can get a lot of free factories and good infra slots to build in.

Belgium Congo Fun Fact: There are none. Since all of these paths pretty much play the same as each other I thought it'd be easier to cover them all in one video instead of spreading it out over six long videos, and it works as teaser for all of em. It worked out fairly well personally.

i feel like the player base is a lot more biased here, sure nations like bulgaria or mexico or some other minors cant really kill the UK but its not like they can kill the Soviet union / Germany either, HOI4 is a game designed on limitations, if by simply spamming naval bombers and attacking the northern coast you would be able to knock out arguably the most important nation from the Allies historically then the game would become somewhat of a joke The invasion is still pretty easy if you actually have carriers, amphi tanks, armtracs and cas, can the average minor country achieve this?No, but they shouldnt.If you are playing a minor then you should prob freeload off of landleases / licenses / air / naval supremacy etc not simply make it yourself

If I remember correctly, the British annexed Egypt in 1940 as Italians began pushing in from Libya. It wouldn’t make much sense for paradox to add a nation that just gets annexed as soon as the war starts

List of things you can do: A lot of the changes was actualy going back to pre fuel/mtg navy for brittain (aka the ai now knows to import oil). -Just spam subs to harras their oil imports. -Naval bombers, how we did it back in the day, they still very op. -Naval patrol bombers are better at targeting capitals if you can afford them. -paratroopers, specialy with the new doctrine that lowers enemy org. -Build a "counter counter raiding fleet", the ai usualy protects conveys with destriyers, so spamming max light attack crysiers can force them into a naval atritrion war that would go in your favour. -Marines an amtracks. -amphibous tanks. They mkstly defend with infantry so the moment you get a tank division with high soft attack, you should be good to go.

If you get stuck at Messina like that, you can put a ship on the strait to block troop movements, then pop all of Italy's divisions on Messina. Crossing the strait can then be done with a naval landing behind Reggio Calabria.

Look it should be hard but the uk has alot of divisions in the home islands now and the ai is throwing africa historically the axis where kicked out of africa but now they take africa

people saying that it's easy to cap UK by making a navy and small air force，then how tf I can cap UK while playing fking bulgaria or yugoslav? and most people don't do achievements or just playing non-iron man game， but defeating UK is this most important part of most achievements . this AI change literally make small nations unplayable and impossible to complete achievements

Odds are UK didn’t try to defend you because you were already stacking the border. In my Germany game it was Italy that was abandoning Egypt against a 16 stack of British inf and cavs

EU4 / Paradox Tinto do a much better job managing their game than the HOI4 group imo

Egypt was independent in 1922 it makes no sense they are British in HOI4. Britain should only control the Suez province, like they historically did. Similar to how the US has Panama in the game. Then when the war starts, similar to Portugal, who get the event that fires asking you to give the Azores islands to Britain. Egypt should get a event that asks to give Britain both , 1)military access and , 2)historically britain fought italy on egyptian soil at al-alamin, since that cant happen in HOI4 then the option in that decision is to cede that territory/port/desert province to Britain. Then if they win they win if they lose they lose. Egypt remains “neutral” if playing historic mode. Then if playing them, lots of good ideas for a focus tree there.

I think all they need to do is add a home gaurd decison for the UK. Have shit loads of under equipped milita. Which is what happened in real life 1mil milita with ww1 equipment.

I always thought if they wont make "AFRICAN DLC" I buy it. It better instead adding sometimes countries for continent periodicaly, because every person have a CHOISE to play it or not. Same as triale of alliagence and grevyard of empires. So, Egypt, Liberia, South afrika rework, Lybia governatore and maybe releaseble's like Maroco, Algeria will be nice. These countries give a lot for ww2 and post ww2 period.

I wonder if they could do what some of the Cold War mods do, Egypt is a starting nation but Britain controls the Suez provinces directly.
