How Habsburg Poland can BREAK No More Partitions - Hoi4

- Today in Poland the Regency Council will assemble to elect the King of Poland, and they will find their man in Karl Albrecht Habsburg who will take the throne with ambitions to unite the former Dominions his family used to control.
However both Germany and the Soviet Union stand in the way unity, however by building a strong army and pulling off some interesting tactics the Kingdom of Poland will be able to avenge it's partitions, and make sure none of its neighbours can even think of contesting Poland again.

Did I intend for this to be a Habsburg double week? No. But it is a problem? Of course not, it worked out well enough I reckon.
How much are they paying you?
A tip for when your using the enemy port strategy, you can force a support attack by pressing Alt+CTRL when you Left Click so they will destroy the units in the tile but never walk into it. Great video btw!
Stalin to Zhukov: "I want Every Man we have to take those ports."
Zhukov: But Poland keeps baiting our troop.
Stalin: Do it!
(Millions of Deaths Later)
Zhukov: I think we should abandon.
Stalin: No. No. MORE!
Angry Poles storming Moscow... Angry shouts of "KURWA!" in the background.
Stalin: Do something!
Zhukov: Consider this my resignation! *BLAM*
I like the fact that the event for taking Berlin at 8:14 mentioned a Polish tank despite the fact that there were no Polish tank divisions anywhere at all.
It's an OLD event, and I believe Poland had tanks during WWII
@@hertogvandammeyeah, we had panzer battalions but I think that they thought on the western front
I love how the Hungarian crowning event has "Oh yeah, its all coming together". I love when paradox references memes!
And the achievment you get when you invite Hungary to the habsburg alliance is "Habsburgs. Habsburgs everywhere" referencing that Buzz Lightyear meme
Prague, the true capital of Poland
Your comment is funny because there is a part of Warsaw called Praga/the Prague
That's an excellent opening to a Polish world conquest.
For a Habsburg playthrough you forgot about annexing Austria
Habsburg Poland is definitely the best path and opening for no more partitions achievement. I did a lot of Habsburg run in the past but I find them harder to play since BBA, especially with the lend-lease nerf. I never thought of doing the "prepare for the next war" branch to have more deployed units to compensate.
i know waht happend 5:50. You draw the line before "anschluss" happend, this way the austrian boarder was unguarded
This is true, I drew the line around month before anschluss.
The southern most province of the post Anschluss border has no forts, so it falls easily.
@@MicheleMaiersi wrong, u get forts anyway
@@Name-ro9rb I just checked and nope, I don't get them. I'm referring to the province that almost doesn't look like it has a border with Austria, but only with Hungary.
The border is one of those so small that it's almost unnoticed, but there is. I just checked and i can confirm that that province has no forts
quick tip on that port abuse:
if you usassign the divisions camping the port, you can order them to kill the trapped divisions in port without capturing it
simply select the camping divisions, and click on enemy division icon while holding ctrl
I don't know if it just me but not taking Austria as Habsburgs was slightly painful.
Love the port carnage, brings me much joy. That' how I did lvl 9 field marshal achievement, but on hong kong
Feel like a United Poland and Czechoslovakia should be called zapadoslavia
Just a quick tip I've found out about: if you hold CTRL and right-click on the enemy division's card, it will start a support attack, which means that divisions you're attacking with won't move into the tile once the battle has ended. Feel like it's much less tedious to do that than to micromanage such a trivial thing. 😁
Only works properly when the divisions aren't assigned to a frontline or fallbackline.
@@sasse9102 Easy to do, easy to undo. 😃
Completely unrelated but I was asking myself what the point of the Italian occupation tree was.
Like if you've been defeated and became someone's puppet,it's usually endgame,at which point why would you want to continue, plus if you've been defeated, whichever faction won probably controls half the world at this point, and I don't see how you alone are supposed to rise up against them and get your independence back if they refuse,am I missing something?
Ah yes the True Capital Of Poland PRAGUE
well i certainly cant get it to work i think just because i can never produce enough equipment
yeah wish he showed production at the start Idk how im meant to get a full army group equipped by '38
Hatless Spider found a way to completely break this path and made Poland Lithuania with and an Austro Hungarian Empire puppet via Lithuania and then annexed them getting cores for all of the Poland Lithuania formable and the Austro Hungarian empire it was a serious grind though
Doesn't work. Tried it 1000 times I couldn't do it. Idk what he did with the troops that sit on the underbelly of Poland but every time I tried I got pushed back. Also idk how he gets the port as in every game they stack about 15 troops on three tiles and I can't take any of them. Now idk if he be using certain divisions but this ain't it chief
Skill issue.
@@BubblesZest bro k I do have some skill issues but pls tell me, what div did you u use to hold the underbelly?
3:16
That's the greatest plan of polish hegemony with Austrian in rule , nice
it triggers me that an habsburg king would let austria to germany
you didn't redraw the frontline after anchluss I think
that's why you got breached so hard
was germany buffed since the guide? or something about production, because i either cannot get all the guns and artilery
i tried with just support artillery too, no way its achievable, unless im really dumb
yes i do micro.... but the main german front is destroyed before i can get konigsberg, plus they funnel 50 million troops into prussia...
Same, yet no response after 8 months it seems... Sad
12:05 - Couldn't you leave the allies at 22:00 when you reach 100% towards capitulation?
Never another Partition
Nsb Poland tree is so bad. Like you can annex all of eastern Europe just by clicking buttons it doesn't make any sense
On the contrary, I believe it is more logical. Poland has always been one of the European powers. It disappearing for a hundred years was the exception not the norm. The fact that nations would submit to it is more likely than them submitting to Romania in Balkans Dominance or to Lithuania. Also, Intermarium solidarity was widespread to help the nations be protected against the Russians and Germans.
Though, I still agree that this is too easy and should've been made harder. But hey, it's the fun that matters not the realism.
In general, though, Poland's focus tree in my opinion is one of the best in the game.
In general the polish tree is full of historical misconceptions and meme content. But that can be said about most pdx trees.
@@ahmadsaati6139 Yeah Poland tree is fun
POLAND MENTIONED ‼‼‼
Habsburg Poland. Doesnt take Austria from the Germs. Big sad :`(
Mmmm, a month ago and i think this might be outdated, look, italy 100% joins axis before germany goes for sudetenland and thus before declaring on you, but italy doesnt join the war right away, now, you can kill germany easy enough before 1940 but italy keeps the axis faction, then when you declare on romania he immediatly joins axis (and btw, declaring while being in allies is almost impossible, you generate so much tension they either kick you before declaring or dont let you join) but romania joining axis breakes the strategy as you have to capitulate italy to be able to puppet romania, also, even if they didnt join axis, soviets can justify in 30 days if they get cores, which if you dont go for the baltic faction, they will, and capitulating romania (if you could) is impossible to do in less than 30 day plus repositioning your army
So what did I do? Go for the Baltic faction right when I was capitulating Germany in December 39, you get Romania in the faction with the first focus and then go for the Baltic countries, Soviets will declare on Finland on Feb 40, they will ask to join the faction, hopefully you have Latvia in your faction by that time, bring Finland in and join the war, then just hold the line and don't put any troops in the Romanian border, then Bulgaria will join axis and declare on Romania, they will capitulate and the Soviets will create a puppet, cover the front line and cut the Soviet army and the puppet through Belgorod and capitulate it, then just cap the Soviets by doing collaborations. While you hold the line split some troops and press Bulgarian habsburg and get them in the faction through the center political focus to get the cores on German territories.
Afaik nothing has changed with Italy since they're setup to join the Axis in June 39 and they normally only join early if tension is spiked.
Basically idk what happened in your game so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
how are you cancelling the unit moving without doing it manually? is there a keybind for that?

@@BubblesZest thanks man
Do collab on Lithuania before soviet collab and declare Commonwealth. Its much funnier.
How did you core bukovina
Restoring the Diet of Galicia does it.
You should revisit the confederates states of America and see if it still hold up
9:23????? wdym puppet the rest, you got full collab on them , its almost the same as having it cored , wtf..
No I didn't, I had one collab.
@@BubblesZest it is sad, that you didn't make more than 1 collab
@@endzorif he had waited to get more than 1 collab, he would've remained at war long enough for Stalin to join from the other side and turn Poland into a hamburger of pain sandwiched between two evil majors.
No, he did well.
@@aidenbooksmith2351 he can lower the cap rate to the point when second collab would fill it to 100%
Please just call it intermarium
