Yeah, I saw sparks fly
From the corner of my eye
And when I turned
Ooh, it was love at first sight
I said, please excuse me
I didn't catch your name
Oh, it'd be a shame
Not to see you again
And just when I thought she was comin' to my door
She whispered sweet and brought me to the floor
She said
I'm only seventeen (seventeen)
But I'll show you love like you've never seen
She's only seventeen
Daddy says she's too young, but she's old enough for me
Mmm, come to my place
We can talk it over
Oh, everything
going down in your head
She said take it easy
I need some time
Time to work it out
To make you mine
And just when I thought she was comin' to my door
She whispered sweet and brought me to the floor
She said
I'm only seventeen (seventeen)
You ain't seen love, ain't seen nothing like me
She's only seventeen
Seventeen
Such a bad girl
Loves to work me overtime
Feels good, ha
Dancing close to that borderline
She's a magic mountain
She's a leather glove
Oh, she's my soul
It must be love
I'm only seventeen (seventeen)
Girl, she gives me love like I've never seen
She's only seventeen (seventeen)
Daddy says she's too young, but she's old enough for me (seventeen)

Reb Beach is amazing!
This song should be blasted at top volume any time Matt Gaetz makes a public appearance anywhere for the rest of his life.
the type of music that never goes old, now that I look back, realize how lucky I was by being 14yo when this happened and it makes me re-affirm those were the best years for rock when every single member of every single band was a real musician and they just exploited their full potential and turning it into great music, things that you don't actually see today and yes, nowadays' generation get carried away by the looks back then, but make no mistake, 'cause if you pay close attention to the music itself and try to listen instead of just watching the video it'll hit you hard to make you wonder why you never did that before, guaranteed.
Excellent post Titool S4
Somewhere there's a fantastic interview with Kip Winger. Either Sweetwater or maybe on Rick Beato's channel. What a cool, humble, happy, grateful guy he is. Worth watching.
look at that dude on the drums. I mean I like playing but I don't smile like a maniac when I play.
In the drummer world, he's known as Rod Morgenstein, one of the best left handed drummers ever known and he had his own line of signature sticks by Vic Firth at this time (1989), and Winger was best new Heavy Metal band of the year. So I think he has a right to smile. www.rodmorgenstein.com/about.html
+THE TRUSTY BUTTER KNIFE: An '80s Adventure I guess so
He's a professor at Berklee School of Music now also.
He is a musical genius, they smile a lot sometimes. Like Eddie Van Halen.
They are awesome, I seen them in concert along time ago, I met them and got pictures with them!yes!
A great, catchy song. As a kid, Warrant was my favorite metal/rock band. This kind of stuff was my thing, and it was great growing up listening to it.
Yup. Uncle Tom's Cabin
@@mattmorrow7777 That Warrant song is one on my faves. Jani was an exceptional song writer and vocalist.
@@danni3074 I Saw Red is really underrated as well.
Ooh my you gotta love the Lord for making things like Kip Winger now thats perfection!! YUMMY!!😏😁🎸
Isn’t that the truth....saw him live he was incredible!!!!!
Daddy said shes too young but shes old enough for me😂
Red Beach guitar God Kip Winger composer God thank God I saw these guys back in the 1980s they played at Anselm College with Bad Company in 1987 I think it was they never got the credit they deserve but they also what part of the 1980s hair-band generation and it would just so many good bands I think a lot of bands didn't get the credit they deserve . Kip Winger still composes until this day orchestral composition a true musical genius
This song should be blasted every time Matt Gaetz makes a public appearance anywhere, for the rest of his life. For the lulz.
I'm glad you remembered winger. We listened to this when we were dating. Plus Doctor feel good. That steering wheel didn't get in the way to much😂😂🤪🤪
17 but old enought for me! Lol.... Wouldnt fly these days. Why I loved my childhood.
Kip Winger in HD. Yessss.
Remember watching these guys on MTV loved the videos the guitar solos they should've been bigger they didn't get the respect they deserved!!!
Good song and good band 👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🥰🥰🥰🥰
Kip Winger: "She's only seventeen!"
Chris Hansen: "Take a seat right over there, Kip"
17 is not underage.
@@TDL-xg5nn please put down the crack pipe
@@blakespinelli6969 most of the states, 16 is age of consent. Pick up a book.
@TDL-xg5nn so if they changed the age to 8, you'd be cool with it because it's legal?.. legally or not, you're still a pedophile.
Every time I see Lorde, this song pops into my head.
I have been listening to them sense they started out...they are and always will be awesome and the greatest bands of all time!!
It’s 2024 -I still LOVE it and I LOVE Kip Winger!!!🧡🧡🧡. He’s only gotten better with age!!!💋💋💋
I love this song and the just pure energy
Got to meet Kip a few times.I think he fell in love with my wife....he called her "his tye-dye girl".Really good guy, thanks for the memories Kip!
This guy knows how to work the camera.
Yes. 😊❤
Met Kip & Rod after a concert when I was in college, and they autographed my jeans...consummate professionals...
Yep, Winger's bass, vocals, and Rebs guitar always stood out from the saturated hair bands. They are above that pack.
Reb was /is one of the very best from that era no doubt about it . He’s one of the best rock guitarists of all time in my opinion! Super unique and talented player
She's got to be at least 55 by now.
52, but the girl in the video (Rebecca Ferratti) is 58
@@leogetz3570😂
Man, does this song bring back memories!
Ahhhh, the 80`s. I miss them.
Kip is a menace for this one.
awesome 80s song, gotta dig some winger :D
SJW's would run Kip over with a truck, they'll be protesting against the band from the roof of UCLA, waving banners and their gender studies majors.
I think you mean "cops" not "SJW's" but... you should know... Winger formed in NYC where the age of consent is 17.
So it's all good.
Lucy Weston Johansson yes
Lucy Weston Johansson tis
today's RAP music is much much worse and so is Beyonce' music
That drummer grinning through the whole thing 😄
You all know Chris Hansen is watching this, and scrolling through the comment section? 🙃
Have a seat....
If the song was 12 instead of 17 yes.
Hahaha!!! Classic!!!!
What're you doing here?
😅😂
i like how kip smiles when the drum lands on the off beat after the solo
You’re an idiot 🤦♂️they don’t actually play when filming a video 🤡
@@johnphillipsjr7238 ur the idiot, they still mime to the music. and u prolly dont comprehend whats going on there rhythmically
"Shes now about 52...52!!!"
+ACETYGRA ROTFLMAO!
WTF! LMFAO!!!!
Also "daddy" is probably long gone by now.
they actually did live set, changed a lyric to she's only 35 :P
ACETYGRA no she's 44 and when this came out I was 17 and kip kissed me at a autograph signing I went to for my friend. And it was sweet💖
i actually fell in love and she was my crush, love Winger!
This one is the best song of the glam metal ever created..
Winger is Like Bon Jovi meets Rush
@@stuartmendez9217 Winger has nothing to do with the stupid and the idiot Bon Jovi..
Sim Pap check out Bullitboys: smooth up
Agreed
@@elizabethpiccolo5534 I'll second that. I saw them live and they were an underrated live act.
