Stock b18a/b will take more than you think.
E85 stock blocks will take quite a bit.
Plenty of tunes to show it.
I have a Pulsar GTX3076R gen 2 on my D16 it’s basically a 5855 I’m happy with it I reved it to 6k in 3rd the other day just to see the spool response and it hit 23psi and it pulled really hard it’s tuned to 8k and 35psi you definitely have to find that perfect medium between too big and undersized
Oh yeah I forgot to mention it has a .82 ar exhaust housing

Man 353 on a stick b18 is good. I have an LSVtec (GSR head b18a1 with GSR trans) going to be buying a set of your injectors, run E85 with an eddlebrock intake, XS power turbo mani, and a little .58 trim turbo. I was going to try to get it tuned by you but I know your moving shops. I’m hoping to make 350-400 it’ll be a stock motor. 🤙🏻

Got me a B18b1 with gsr trans in my ek sedan. No way giving up AC and before boost going AWD.

I’m torn on what I want to do. I have a single cam none vtec I’ve done most of the seals on it nothing internally replaced but I do want more power not sure if I want to buy another single cam and build it up a little or just get a b series and put head studs on it and make 300hp? Not sure what to do
You ever see this guy that made his own traveling wide band that would go into the end of any exhaust pipe. It consisted of a like 2" round pipe that was welded to a c clamp and the pipe would slide down into the exhaust at least 10 or 12" and the c clamp would clamp down onto the exhaust. The bung for the wideband was threaded onto the 2" pipe. Kind of hard to explain but ya
Yeah they're actually fairly common. They work OK on a short downpipe but any real length of exhaust it skews the readings.
@@BDauto86 no way really?? Can't remember if it was a Honda guy I saw do that or not? Damn so full length exhaust that's not gonna work ok, that didn't occur to me. The mixtures probably different that far down.

I just got done turboing my d15, been trying to read online but everyone saying different things, is it normal for my turbo to not spin at all at idle. It seems normal and it pulls pretty hard and does spoil when you get rev it. Just curious if that is normal

Hey hunter I’m all motor right now on a b20 non Vtec, I have the same issue of my idle jumping from like 300 to 900. What should I do to fix this?

Hi, just gonna write it here out of fustration. If you have any opinion, it is wellcome. Pump gas like the good one we have around here. 6th headhasket d16z6. Last time I decked the block and the head, oem y8 gasket. Less that 20 degrees at 10psi, less than 10 degrees at 20psi over 6k rpm. Until then it ramps in. Afr 11.2-11.4. Until 19psi it seems like it was having it. I gave it 24 with 6 degrees of timing. If pissed itself. Any opinions?
The compression test shows 12 bar, like 180psi. Is this to high? Vitara with long rods
Single cams are tough. What exhaust manifold are you running? Is it a specific cylinder where the gasket is blowing? This is where EGT can really help.
@@HunterTuned tubular top mount made by me. Last time the fucker looked like it pushed the gasket everywhere it could push it, but not in between cylinders. It doesn't seem like it's a specific cylinder

Sorry, but it's D curse..DSerious and others have fought that battle, going to bigger head studs, etc...too bad, those are cool blocks. Maybe go with it's big brother from an Accord?

I was always told with b serise 300whp to 350whp is reliable with a stock unopened b series but it does have to be in good shape and its hard to find a good one
