    Love these Hondata videos where you go into detail. Boosting my accord and I hope to tune it myself or at least get it running on boost so that it doesn't need much time on the dyno. First thing I did was install a stage 1 exedy clutch and new flywheel.
    Hate it for these guys. They thought they were about to be gapping mustang GTs but instead they're pulling a trans and buying another clutch.

    I have Grams 2200cc injectors in my built LSVTEC (B18B1 with 9.0:1 CP Pistons/Eagle rods, B16B PR3 head with S2 LMAs, S2 dual valve springs with titanium retainers, and S2 Stage 3 cams) turbo and they've been great on E85 so far. It sat for almost a year with E85 in it and thank God I put a 6an return on it because it didn't hold fuel pressure in the rail and the injectors were fine. I drained the tank and put fresh E in it and it ran mint on a Hondata S300 V3.

    Yep, this is why i went 4 puck stage 5 all CC. It take a lot to irritate me however a slipping clutch will piss me off some kinda quick lol.

    I'm dieing to see my hp# on my build. I ran a xtd stage 4 held 300whp. And I beat it to hell. And never had a single slip. But I notice some people have good luck others not.

    Its something you talked about that poping at idle i own a nissan on an series 1 aem ems with 615ccs and retarding the timing fixed the problem. I've always liked how you explain what it is you're doing thank you.

      No, if anything it’s easier on the valvetrain. High cam lobe and low cam lobe are indifferent with individual wearing. If you’ve ever had a high mileage vtec motor apart you’d notice typically that even the high cam which is obviously not always in use typically shows the most wear anyway

    I have a bone stock Gsr that I’m also boosting from top to bottom fully bone stock , just head studs and headgasket . Also running on flex fuel e85, how many pounds would it take me to make 400 ? Like you did on this video

    I was taught you want negative timing in the starting portion of the low cam so the car starts easier. Like how old muscle cars that have locked advanced timing start like total shit boxes conpletely stopping the starter rotation during crank

    Hello,
    I have a 2000 EK civic that I've swapped a b18c1 GSR motor into. It has lower compression 9.1:1 Wiseco pistons, darton sleeves, eagle rods, 1000cc ID injectors, skunk 2 pro intake, AEM 340LPH fuel pump, BKR6 spark plugs and using AEM UEGO wideband for A/F ratio readings. Naturally aspirated right now.
    When ever it gets around 2500-4000rpms the motor goes lean, loses power and returns to idle. I was getting an IAT error but disabled that with S300. There are no other codes so limp mode isn't suspected.
    So far I have modified the fuel map by adding 10%(helped AFR at idle but that's it), replaced cap and rotor and inspected spark plugs (looked fine, had some carbon on them).
    Any one have any ideas? Could it be fuel filter related? Fuel pressure regulator? Fuel pump?
    Any help is more than welcome.

      Normal honda things? It's good to burn a slight amount of oil, it's proper oiling. Just make sure your not over oiling your turbo tho (to much oil leaking past seals). About the only thing next to needed to top end things like ring gap.

      @@cro-thehacker7018 mine turned out to be bad placement on the oil return bung on my oil pan. Turbo wasn’t draining right and oil was filling it up. :(

    That's going to take some getting used to with the stock tach redline around 7000 rpm, a stock b18c1 redlines at about 8400
    Hits a rev limit at about 9000.

      That’s almost 1K RPM too high. Stock b18c1 redline is like 8100 and rev limit is 8200

      Idle surging up and down at idle? Make sure your ECT sensor is reading or check for a vacuum leak

    Lets say i get a cav and id like to do an engine swap, if i payed a shop to do it for me and payed for the parts how much would it be? Would you recommend to do it the same way you did and would you say the LS is the best option for the lowest buck? Please let me know

      A lot. Depending on shop. Turbo build is already like a 2500$ job if you know what your doing. Prob 2x that for a shop too.

      I don't believe so. It's offline software that connects with your board in the ECU your ECU isn't on the internet. Your changing a basemap on the chip in your ecu
