If you follow my commuity posts you probably know that I try to re-use all parts that I cant sell. Here we look at making a pro rig from an unlikely doner...the Panasonic BGH1.
I hope this gives you some ideas on how to re-use parts or just rigging in general.

I'm in the middle of building out my cinema rig set up for a canon eos m. After watching this I am excited and I can't wait to get my rig built out.

Not blowing smoke, but you probably make the sexiest rigs I've seen on UA-cam. Useful, yet stylized.
Ahhhh mate, I'm glad you like it. It's surprisingly neat and very functional.
If only I could get my blackmagic to be this versatile I'd be very happy.
@@Altcine The blackmagic just has a terrible body shape. At least make it balanced like the c70. Maybe even put an external battery housing on it like Canon's design but with NPF's since the 6K Pro uses them now anyway.

Bro, do what you have to do. A lot of us started our careers with this camera and if I showed you some of the stuff I and others have done, you'd be amazed.
I used the Eos-M and bmpcc4k to shoot a piece for SHOWSTUDIO and it's one of my favourite pieces to date. Google them

Great video, thank you for the inspiration! I have one question: could you make the external monitor work for the 1080p mode? I have tried four different builds and three monitors, and it is still black screen. (Some other modes work though, but I use the 1080p mode the most).
Thank you. I think youay need to roll back your build to have that feature. Some of the older builds work great so you won't loose much

Hi, yes it's the normal Tilta wooden handle but I stripped the paint off (not recommended as it requires upkeep)

What mode do you mostly shoot in? I like 2.8K raw but it only records for about 10 seconds before stopping.
99% of the time I'm in 1080 as it's mostly reliable for me.
Try going to the resolution settings and drop them just a fraction..it can make all the difference or maybe drop your bit-rate to 12 or 10...they're both still very good.

What model battery adapter is that?? I've found the smallrig version but can't find one that shows the battery life.
They're a bit pricey at the moment. I paid about £25 last year
