7:03 what episode is this
in the episode with the husband who beat his wife, they had this whole drawn out legal battle to determine whether he had any fault in not only assaulting his wife but abusing his children and the entire time I watched it I remember thinking "Hey how about bring the cops who arrested him in for their testimony so they can say 'yeah he took a swing at his wife during the arrest"
@@girlgarde He came back in season 15 to be killed off.
5:28 was the arrest for unpaid taxes?
@@diosoth And the abused wife came back years later also. She straightened up her life and became (wait for it).......a therpist/counselor, if I remember correctly. Occasionally, the writers rewarded long-time viewers with throw back nuggets.
Lowenstein was the worst of the worst.
Technically, he abused his wife, and his wife in turn abused their children.
32 years and this original product still rules the police drama genre.
the muisc during the chase scenes makes this. So early 90s . Love it
So did my suspect up my phone last nigh when I couldnt sleep
Come on county sleeping buy to suspects enough end it
DX7 SYNTH ?
It's Kool Moe Dee song that came out in the late 80s.
QhtQDQQ1YqrQqqqaaqqqqqqqqqquqy
XD I died at the trashcan lid one...
Ik same an it was such good timing and teamwork
Same!
Loved it and the bad guy can't blame the cop because they were running away from the cops!
Yeah, that had to hurt.
Police brutality, anyone?
That was my favorite arrest too
Law & Order really got with the times musically and tech wise.
Yeah they did. I quite liked the song coming from the black guy's boom box, it's intense and catchy.
@@girlgarde the name of the person rapping the song is ice T unless you knew that already.
@@madison-Roccoa-Mason-drake Little did they know...
@@madison-Roccoa-Mason-drake you mean Fin?
@@madison-Roccoa-Mason-drake that's not ice t it's kool moe dee
Law And order never gets old
Even the law and order spinoffs will never get old
❤️❤️❤️❤️👍✨
Logan's leather coat and that music was worth it enough for me. Loved this show
I wished he wore something else besides a leather coat
Greevey:
"TREMAYNE LEWIS! NYPD!"
"DROP THE GUN, TREMAYNE!"
"GIVE IT UP!"
BAM!
"I MEANT GIVE UP THE GUN, TREMAYNE, NOT YOUR NOSE!"
the "pookie" episode was a very sad one.
Bruno Boyko what is the episode and season
It was extremely creepy.
That it was. 6 year old Didi /the abused child/ was abused so severely that she died from her injuries. At least her parents were appropriately punished for their crimes and their son was freed from their abusive care.
ryan macdonald yeah it’s good that her brother was freed from there abusive care.
@@matthewforsyth284 and he was later adopted by a good loving family❤❤❤❤
9:00 "I don't kill nobody." _(sic)_
There's his confession. Right there.
what do you mean? How?
@@Bran7440 If you took that phrase literally, it's a "double negative" ("I don't kill nobody" could mean "I killed someone but I don't want to admit it").
@@quizmaster85 thanks
@@discobutterfly Maybe so, but I personally take statements at face value. Still, to each their own.
Lesson: Bad guys should know never run when you got Logan on your tail. He'll get you every time!
Yeah that's right man.
Now if only we can get a similar compilation for all 20 seasons!
Looks like Detective Logan "canned" the perp in scene 2:42. 😂😂😂
(puts on sungl--)
Wrong show. 😅
Interestingly enough, that episode "Everybody's Favorite Bagman" was the Pilot for the series, and was filmed in 1987.
The trash can cover is awesome
I like the trash can lid part😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Me too bro i couldn't stop laughing
Madison-fakhara al'ab aljamil walfarh Logan-Drake you mean girl
Abbey McLane does it really matter? Girls are called bros all the time
@@madison-fakharaalabaljamil3917 If someone asks you to address them in a specific way, respect their wishes.
Colleen Lang triggered much? And it wouldn't matter to me at all
This has been on UA-cam for 30 minutes and it’s already my favourite ever video on UA-cam
My two favourites are the trash can one itshowed he actually thought. My second was the arrest of the commissioner as that showed comapssion in not arresting him in front of his kids.
2:41 is he gonna do what I think he's gonna do...?
2:43 OH YES HE IS!!! DAMN!
The 3rd one, the garbage can lid, is one of my all time favorites! Way to improvise.
In the first clip, while searching the guy, Logan had his gun pointed at the back of the guy's head with his finger on the trigger. Horrible trigger discipline.
For real though
Hollywood.
Yeah.
Guns are fake.
Sigh, NOT BACK THEN!!!! You sound like an SJW expecting old movies to have 'current year' morality.
Yea that trashcan lid one is classic :)
There’s an old cop saying: “If they run, they did it.”
There's an old civilian saying: "Run, before they steal every last dime to your name." Sometimes running is a civilian safety issue.
It's all fun and games until someone loses his life because a cop decided to play judge and take someone's life ("he ran, he must have been guilty!").
This unfortunately happens far too often.
@@artemisk6960 you mean juge, jury and executioner as it's the executioner who kills the person sentence to death
@@patricksmith6776
That's bullshit, Patty.
@@artemisk6960
No it fucking doesn't.
The subtle shove max gave to that kid is hilarious
Trashcan lid takedown's probably No.1 on my list still, lol!
XD
I liked the chase scene where the guy selling books and magazines ran only to run into a waiting police car. I also liked the one where the black teen ran into a fence and tried to climb it one winter day only to get caught and then was mouthy with the detectives to no avail.
Y’all ever watch Law and Order and see them go by your street and get like a weird surreal feeling?
Me during my living in Manhattan days.
My high school has been used on L&O & SVU so many times.
Max carried his .38 on his ankle just like the technical advisor to the show, Michael Struck. He was real life NYPD. Too bad the changed it. Although its understandably convenient for TV to just wear a holster.
Oh, wow, forgot. Popeye Doyle-like.
And maybe that was just from the pilot, no?
Lol Everytime I watch this I realize how illegal some of the stuff they do is
Holly Davis and now a days you can’t put a killer behind bars because of all the red tape bs
Ahhhh, the 90’s. I don’t miss the hair or leopard print, but I miss everything else.
@@dustbunny4527 Imagine feeling nostalgic for a time when cops breaking the law was seen as a good or normal thing
@@eab2210 imagine shilling for a time when criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens
@@davidpar2 lmao like which rights? Which rights did criminals have that law abiding citizens didn't? Cause both have the right to not be beaten by police
3:58 Sgt Doakes before his obsession with a serial killer
Robert Mitchell I just started watching Dexter so this is hilarious!
Logan & Briscoe, best Law&Order duo
Season 1 was classic. Loved it!
Logan and Greevey are the best. George Dzundza only left because New York wasn't good for his health. He's a warmer climate guy.
I remember my hole family use to watch this and now I work for NYPD
@876Merrick,
I Agreed, Classic is GOD-TIER than Modern
I always remember the girl yeeting her Barbie Doll at the wall saying “GIVE ME YOUR FACKING MONEY!” when I see this 💀
Yep I like the older seasons of this show better.
I love Briscoe. He's the best
I love these new compilations!
S/O to Law & Order for playing Kool Moe Dee @0:52. Damn that's official. This show was a great representation of what NYC is really like. #SoNY #authentic

Go with your first instinct.
I felt sorry for that woman. Her arrest and death sentence made the entire episode tragic.
Love these clips. Last one was clearly a shadow of the Menendez brothers.
Now that's a classic law and order of the 90s-early 00s👍👍👍👍
Police: Arrest people
That one guy at the end: *SLAP THAT BASS*
this is so joyful, to find this. i have all the seasons. im a real junkie. sorry not sorry.
If you want to know what happened to the two guys who were playing squash it turns out their father's business partner was the one responsible for their parents murders🗡🗡🗡🗡
9:04 The guy who is getting arrested has his hand/arm slip out of the other guys grasp. Made me laugh a little
I didn't even know these were on here, thank you UA-cam.
"GIVE IT UP!"
Only thing dude gave up was his nose ...
I can't believe at the 20-second mark he asked who the guy who he was! Aren't the police supposed to have an identification of suspects they are pursuing?
Greevey/Dzundza was one of the reasons I watched this show...
For the record Whenever I’ve had to call NYPD ESU to take a door you DO NOT say pop it & stand back it’s our collar🤣. ESU tells YOU to stand back..totally TV
Chris Noth 😍😭
Yeah!!!
4:32 Logan had murder in his eyes
"get off of my Law'n Order!"
BAM! RIGHT IN THE KISSER! YEAH!
Very much greetings from germany,I watch it every morning 2 times. It is aktually the best from 7am to 9am.God bless america, because the rest of the day there is only and ab
And absoulutely garbage on TV
7:03 That bass line…
Greevey: LOOK AT ME WHEN I"M TALKING TO YOU!
Don't mind me, my module just sent me here lmao
The 2 fit guys playing squash can murder me any time lol 😍😍😍😱❤️
The way they trott down the hall in the first one cracks me up.
& Are they holding .22 revolvers? I'm going to have to look up how realistic that is. I've never seen anything that small on a real cop, or in a show.
Snub nosed .38 it was far more common yet still relatively uncommon at the time of the show’s first season. Most cops were carrying semi-auto pistols and now are almost exclusively carrying semi-auto.
In the scene that a guy is selling magazines got outplayed HARD
I love it.
5:18 Is The Catchphrase, I love it
2:43
You've just bin booked
Ohh the 90s before all the technology police have now. They had to really work to solve a crime now they have fancy toys to help them and make things easier
What is interesting about the Law and Order franchise is that they go from the 90s to modern times. From the first episode of the original Law and Order's Season 1 to the most recent episode of SVU.
The guy at 8:45 killed Patrick Swayze in the movie GHOST
@Songs Mirth your welcome
Always liked the trash can lid arrest. Very original.
1:58 😂😂😂
2:43 😂😂😂😂
I love those scenes
Early seasons were much more gritty.
NEVER run from Police, NEVER.
Never talk to the police either.
@R. H. Kingpin I've never been in trouble with the law either, and I intend to keep it that way. I'm not anti-cop. The occasions I've had exchanges with cops, I've been respectful. That said, I recognize cops are not your friends. If they suspect you of a crime, they're allowed to lie to you. But if you lie to the cops, even by accident/misremember a detail about where you were, boom. They can arrest you for obstruction of justice. That's why I say don't talk to the cops.
@R. H. Kingpin You said "If you believe they suspect you of a crime then ask them. They have to tell you."
That sounds nice, in theory. But what they don't? Maybe they're trying to pull a fast one. Or maybe they don't consider you suspect at that time, but things change? Either way, you're running the risk of making potentially incriminating statements, arrest, loss of reputation, loss of money from hiring a lawyer, etc.
Engaging with LEOs to keep crime down, again sounds nice in theory. But good deeds rarely go unpunished, and every prison on this planet has wrongfully convicted people (for whatever reason). Be careful, stand up for your rights, because no one else is going to do it for you.
@R. H. Kingpin Sorry to tell you this but Law Enforcement is just the extension of State Violence. They are not social workers. They are not going fix Social problems excaberated by poverty and government neglect. Cops generally operate like an occupying force in poor neighborhoods. Thus criminals can win hearts and minds by giving some turkeys on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Dumb cops don't differentiate between Skywalker and an armed person running from a liquor store that just got robbed.
@R. H. Kingpin American Law Enforcement goes back to the days of the slave catchers. Slave Catchers became cops after Slavery was somewhat abolished. Through 60 and 70s southern law enforcement migrated all across the country for better paying jobs in Law enforcement. Charity is not justice. It's a bandaid. Charity not going to fix the led problem in Flint. You know scientists since the 70s have been yelling about the damage lead paint and lead pipes do. Lead causes irreversible brain damage. Morally bankrupt politicians and Big contractors did this to save a buck. They destroyed lives and communities. I'm here to tell you trauma is long-term and no amount blood money fixes that. So when they murder unarmed people for petty crimes or simply not respecting their authority. They set a precedent. When societies breakdown or Violent revolutions happens. These violent mobs don't differentiate between if this cop was secret police, corrupt, brutal or community police officer. They just line them up against a wall and get a brief Catharsis.
2:43: arrested by garbage can lid.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Mike H. Your name is making this comment even funnier 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The best detective duo
the first season was classic
Can't believe I recognized the always fantastic Luiz Guzman being arrested in the clip starting at around 8:40
We only see the trash can lid in cartoons
That is the best law & order
The music was over the top, glad they changed that in latter season.
2:40, lol, one of my favorites.
is that kevin heart or are my eyes being racist?
As far as doors go there are kickers and shoulder guys. I was the latter and my partner was the former.
Nowadays, it's the battering ram, or whatever it is you call it.
Their also 20 gage master key or simtext/C4 door maker. I was more or less the C4 guy.
"Silky" is Doakes from Dexter!
Willy has got to be the fastest perp I've ever seen on TV
Donde puedo encontrar todas las temporadas para verlas desde el inicio.
I like that he used a trash can lid.
This Show is the Longest Running Series in Television History. 31 Years.
Hey willy your ride is here!!

Hilarious lol
IF HE GOT COP'S SHOES , COP'S SOCKS....HE IS A COP.
Back when L&O had a budget. And non-speaking roles.
I forgot this show started in the 80s
I love this show!
1:31 I've never seen a man dip off so fast in my life
Is it me or me or the cop running after the guy down fire escape and running into the trash can lid remind anyone else of those old tom and Jerry shows
