ben stone resigns after this case b/c of murder of 'little miss organic' at the end after she was convinced to testify against steve green
cause the actor had some sort of melt down over janet reno
@@kentallard8852 Well, that's because Janet Reno said that the government should step in and tell the TV people what to write. So, Kudos to MM.
The Masuci Family!
I remember that. Well, who could forget? She begged not to testify, scared she'd be killed. Stone forced her, and she was killed. Stone was devastated.
@@janetkizer5956led to Jack McCoy coming in
*Adds Allison Janney to "great actors who turned up in Law and Order" list*
wasn't even her first time on there.
Easier to make a list of who hasn't been on a L&O franchise.
my feed had a clip of her on 'Who do you think you are?'. She found info about an ancestor who shipwrecked in 1611 in Bermuda. Interesting stuff.
That's not Alison its C.J. Craig ...get it right!!!😅
She dies. Stone leave. Enter Atty Jack McCoy. 1:23
I miss Lenny and Mike. Such great detectives.
IMO Briscoe and Logan were the best cop duo on L&O.
Yes. It's like they wrote the book on cop partners.
Love these older episode clips!!
6:05 the awesome sound of a 90s chase theme 🎶🎶🎶
6 points over the prime rate on a 2mill loan...ouch
My favorite episodes are Lenny & Mike!
Me too! Can't get enough
I prefer Lenny and Rey or Green , I think Green is more okay. although I would love to see Lenny and Fontana both RIP.
and Mccoy and Abbie is the best ADA and prefer Abbie more just love her lines and how she handle things.
-No deals lets just hang them all
-Salad? Ill take the steak
@@asahel980She has some great lines and delivery. Lol
3:42 Love the old lady going of in romanian to nag the old dude behind !
Alison Janey's character ended up getting killed off at the end of the episode resulting in Stone resigning as ADA.
Sad that these episodes aren’t actually on Peacock 😭
You can find them on UA-cam tv
R they still there? @@hokie7373
@hokie7373 the entire episode? Probably have to pay right?
"Hey Nicky! Is that the flavour of the week?" XDDDDDD
Law & Order is one of the best ever 1-14 seasons
Ben, Robinett, Lenny, Mike, best shows..
Oh that was one of the montage episodes. A rare treat music and a chase.
I am once again asking for you to put seasons 1-12 on Peacock.
You are once again being ignored. You have literally NO say in what these companies do in terms of acquiring licenses.
What a great episode This must have been!
It’s a shocker. DA Ben Stone forces baby food lady to testify against Russian mob guy even though she begs not to, afraid for her life. She ends up being killed by the mob in the end and Ben Stone is so devastated that he resigns, season four ends, and DA McCoy enters to start season five, and many many more to come.
"History written by the victor !"
New clip yay
"I got a pea coat" still makes me laugh

That was smooth
How was that smooth? he just ran
@@mew10521You don’t understand the delivery
@@Shiro_47 huh? I'm lost
I believe he meant that the purp came in, saw the cops, and still chose to run lol.
yeah dude,... they even got a phaser
CJ Sighting!
Lenny was the best!
The 80s chase music! *chef's kiss*
Lenny might be the best cop in tv history....McCoy is the best character in tv history
except for the fact that he's constantly touching the fucking evidence. every time there's a gun he's gotta use his fingers to pick it up and show everyone around him.
Allison Janey! Good to see her doing TV before the West Wing.
I liked the time she popped up in the actual White House press room, in front of the ACTUAL White House Press Corps, ostensibly because “Josh (White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, that is) had an emergency root canal.”
@@FS2K4PilotWoot canal!!!
@@davidcombs3617 Actually it’s spelled “canau”, or maybe “can-owww!”.
@@FS2K4Pilot 😆 🤣 😂 😹 Hilarious episode.
The chase reminds me of something out of a James Bond movie
CJ Cregg/Allison Janney from the West Wing!
wow, Gale Bertram, from NY DA auditor to CBI director!
I miss good acting in television. Boy how things have changed.
None of the seasons with Lenny are streaming anywhere.
Yea they are on Peacock, just seasons 13-22 tho, will have 23 in the fall
l remember this one it was Ben Stones last episode that was a sad moment.
Doesn’t take a lot of clips of this show to find an actor you recognize
Allison Janey!!!!
lol the lady switched like three eastern european languages. it was shoking to here her speak romanian when they were supposed to russian
Loved her voice in the background. Very cartoony
any chance to watch the show in english???
Huh?
Philly Parisi before he got wacked
So was cragen on law and order and then get moved to svu?
Yes that's right
He was placed in charge of the anti-corruption task force before given command of SVU.
Back in the day, L&O was about the stories, not the characters. The characters were replaced on a pretty regular basis. Sometimes they just moved on, sometimes retired, sometimes it was more violent. Though this did lead to some unusual juxtapositions, like when S. Epatha Merkerson played the mother of a slain boy in the early episode 'mushrooms' before turning up as Lt. Anita Van Buren, in charge of one of the detectives who investigated the son's death.
Even it means danger someday the Mobsters fall on their own traps by the law by the way i understand Stone's point for retire
100% right until Jack McCoy join the attorney
@@teodorusdikypermadi Yeep and also he's a good attorney too, both they have their own ways to make justice

C.J. Craig? What are you doing here???
😅😅😅😅😅
The best seasons of this show were the first 4 with Michael Moriarty.
The Mafia? Isn't that stabler's area of expertise

That music from the foot chase at the end is pretty good. Anyone happen to know if that track has a name?
Who taught Lenny Briscoe the word "usury"?
This is the episode which covers the Russian incursion into US banking and real estate...both cash-basis.
The Russians used to say "Better to own a bank than rob it", and they bought them up in the 80s and 90s .... laundering black market money. US banking laws are loose when it comes to money from overseas.
In addition, real estate was also great at laundering money. It's how Tribeca was renovated. It's also how all these malls in rural America are being built.
BTW, Trump, Inc. was lent money during his bankruptcy cases. It's better if the real estate development loses money: the company and individuals get tax breaks.
Anyone see the connection? Feds are looking in the wrong place for Trump's messes.
At like 3:13 was she giving him the "F-me" look?? Bit her lip and all
This was from a time when the Law & Order episodes were not constantly pushing leftist propaganda; when they were not constantly making not-so-subtle "woke" comments in the script's dialog.
Assistant District Attorney "Jack McCoy's" character changed from straight enforcement of the law, to so-called social justice in his later role as the woke District Attorney.
The woke episodes have great story lines. If the writers and producers could control their obsession with pushing their leftist agenda on the show, we would be able to enjoy the latest episodes without holding our noses.
We do not need to see Detective Frank Cosgrove learn about his wrong way of thinking, and acknowledging the same, in every episode. We do not need to be taught that we should all learn, just as Detective Frank Cosgrove learns.
Politics (that the woke episodes injected) aside:
In these early episodes, the detectives and the DA's office solved crimes, mostly with leg work.
In the later seasons, there is too much emphasis on big tech tracking and video footage surfacing from every balcony.
Oh, do shut up. You have no goddamn idea what "woke" means, other than what Fox News and OANN tell you it means. Take your BS political nonsense to Truth Social.
Oh shut up ! No one wants to read your Trump verbal diarrhea regurgitation.
Evidently everything is "woke" to you.
Get help, loser.
Which season changed?
