If that John Deere guy disrespects you, that person doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near a tractor. I’m love all tractors, green, red, gray, yellow, etc. It is from watching your channel I learned more about Farmalls. I enjoy watching someone who takes the time to repair and teach then someone who would shout their mouth off just because of it color. Years of tractor pulling has taught me respect is earned. You, have earned my respect.
Absolutely
Red Power 💪❤️ Monday
I slapped that button 👍 like I was at the Oscars.
And a full view for the win! 💥BOOM💥
@@FarmallFanatic always 👍#SUPPORTPAFARMERS
God bless yuz brother 🙏❤️
Chris Rock felt that one. 😁
Can’t we all just get along…? Much respect to you. That coming from a Deere guy myself.
Yes we can, until someone decides not to
Anything worth doing is worth doing right 😀 glad you’re getting it back together 👍
Farmall Fanitic :) my late dad use HY Tran in his Red McCormick International tractor plus combine for years and never had bad problems with that fluid too! Company brand he use was ESSO called Canada but Harmac or CHEVRON in USA! Glad got fellow friend has Farmall C parts you need to!
Your air joke was Gold😂😂
Good job on gettin that fitted an no leaks yet🤔 as you said different situation when your havin to lift a plough out of the ground 🙄 great video 👍
Enjoying your videos! thanks for the entertainment!
I forgot you uploaded last night so I’m watching before I go to bed for the day. Good to see the Super C coming back together and getting ready for spring work.
New parts shouldn't be that difficult LOL I feel the same way- 90% of the time I have been using hand tools, not impacts. The seat spring thing was a bit of a surprise for me. Glad you got her back together!
Glad to see the super c is back in business also had to laugh at not remembering where you put that gasket. Happens to all of us. I also enjoy your humor love the videos
I'll find it next year lol
Glad you got a new gauge. Birch store is a good place to get things. Yeah that 5288 was a steal of a deal. I have a 5088 and it's a good tractor. The transmissions are good in them. They do have an upgrade when you have to go into them. The transmissions are fully synchronized and the only trouble most of the time is the sentry/ brain. Wish I had been there I'd had to of bid on it and a few others. Thanks so much for the videos. I'm with you on these parts you pay good money for them and you shouldn't have to machine them to fit. If IH was still in business you could get the right parts and part you needed. What a shame.
I have a flex hose metal funnel just like yours I bought for filling the touch control system. It has a screen in the bottom of it. I'm exactly like you FF. I hate buying parts for something that don't fit right and hate having to modify them in order for them to work. C stands for can't wait to hit the field!
💥BOOM 💥
Testing gravity at 13:41 I do that test all the time myself! Thanks for sharing!
That's why I bought a magnet Pole 😁
Nothing chugs like Deere. Anyting but Deere in my collection. Another great video.
Glad you had luck priming the system when you started it back up. I've seen them not want to prime after sitting apart for an extended time. Birch store isn't the cheapest but they have a good selection of parts for the small cultivator type of Farmalls
Keep both hydra touch levers back...
Good content. 👍
I don't recommend reproduction gauges from ebay. We put a new reproduction ammeter in a 460 Wheatland. I just rewired the tractor and the engine was buggered so we put in a C-263 out of a 403 combine. After all that work, we hooked up the battery, and it worked fine, and then, it's a good thing I was right there because the ammeter just lit up inside and it burned up my new wiring harness. The ammeter shorted out inside. Lucky we didn't burn our shop down. I don't like "might fit" parts. Either build the part right or not at all. Metric bolts should never be any part of any piece sold for those old tractors.
You were talking about using HyTran for your hydraulics. I would think that would be better than the SAE 30 too. Our trucks at work have hydraulic drive pumps for loading and unloading and what we use for oil in them is a HyTran compatible hydraulic oil. What we are being told at the shop that installs them it is approximately a SAE 35 weight oil to better handle heat.
See I always thought HyTran was 10w, but much higher quality than the rest
@@FarmallFanatic I always thought that too. But this is what I'm being told by technicians, that hydraulics is all they do.
Agreed it should be made to fit correctly perfectly especially what they charge for the parts
Yep
About the spring. I don't think Case/IH offers that part anymore. I remember looking one up for a customer and it said "not found". However, that was several years ago and they might offer it now so don't hold me to that. Because I might just be wrong. And, if so, I'll admit it. No shame in my game. Great video😁👍
Looking forward to see the super c doing field work i can see how grandpa and dad farmed
You're doing great. Super C is super! Wait until the new gasket gets there and the older one will show up.
Lol yep
Nice to hear the super C going again. Hope you have videos of it plowing soon
Definitely will
Just a friendly observation, you have the wire over the steering rod. My uncle had a good bit of experience with Super Cs. I remember him saying he said the hydraulic temperature gauge either didn't move or didn't move much. If I remember correctly he said he never saw one hot enough to move the guage.
Yea I moved it...I hear they don't move much
Looking great, red power.
Boom 💥
good video good job
Good evening. Manchester Michigan has Manchester Tractor Parts it's on M-52.
Glad it went back together right
I would rather have the exact parts also but every now and then a sheet of gasket material comes in handy in a pinch😎air ratchet and impact sounds were priceless man I about sent my supper through my nose🤣😂🤣keep crushin it FF💪🏻
Nah, for a couple bucks, I'll order one. I don't feel like doing art class lol
@@FarmallFanatic Touché, Touche
I tried getting one of those special non existing buckets at TSC, they sent me to Rural King. I finally got one at the gravel pit. Cheap also!
Ahahahahahahaha 🤣
Like the action
Greg "Not The Puller" Fuller lol
I added fast hitch to my regular C , put it togeter peice by peice and Im proud of it. Wish I could get the two bearings holding fram underneath , kinda sloopy.
What state?
FF if you are planning to use that Super C as much as you said this year. You might want to check your front hubs for grease. My SC had dried up grease on one side and some kind of slime on the other. Two new bearing kits were installed this weekend and she is good to go for years now. Touch control oil change this weekend, so thanks for the vid!
Good heads up...I'll assume a bearing change
@@FarmallFanatic A heads up for you. Steiner doesn't include the oil seal with the bearing kit. You will have to order it separately.
I'll buy local
I've seen some people use a football in the spring for an air ride seat!
I'd pop it ahahahahahahaha
Love me some Super C with fast hitch 😎😎
No doubt
Essas máquinas agrícolas são muito legais
I just can't image anyone not liking you!!
Well there's one in every crowd
Thumbs up bomb. 💥
I was laughing too hard to type …😂👍🏻
At what 😳
@@FarmallFanatic hoggin stocks lol
Stalks
You got the gauge right, they gave you to short of a bolt......You made me go look at my Super C....
Strange thing: my brother was the second owner of my SC and it had a broken touch control gauge, but no fitting on the touch control unit, just a solid plate. Of course, I sold my only plate/cover with my 130…🙄
Lol
No pocket challenge for me either. Lint does not constitute good ratings.😁
Like doing hand tool not impact tight bolts seen to much damage they do bolts or hardware even on Oil plugs too ! That why do my hand strength to tools only and I got lots strength my arms to as impact gun does !
Did i hear you say 88 series have Issues lol ?????? Do i need to educate you some on the last IHs lol ... It was on the table to get a deere built trans to IH specs at one point .... lol good to see your C is ready to farmall now
Well JD is junk all the way around. I'm just telling you what local red guys are telling me.
@@FarmallFanatic i dont think the deere transmissions came around til they bought out funk in 1989. And the 1990s Agco White/Allis and New Holland used a Funk Deere trans . So that tells what the rest had to go Compete with the IH Engineered 18 Speed that Case IH took on. IH powershift lacked shuttle capability but was simple all Mechanical. The Funk was 16spd electronic and would shuttle directions. Case IH pushed the industry to standard powershifts and front assist integrated tractors Deere had to bring 8000s out and NH had to bring the genesis out to one up the Magnum
Hi you know I think I bought the same temp gauge off Ebay as you did even the gauge was garbage. I used a different fitting that my son made to match up to the block and the screwed threads. First time it got wet the gauge rusted and is junk. I emailed them but it would cost me more to send back than what was worth my time. Your tractor does it have a temp gauge on engine? Will see you have a good day.
Yep it has one
The bolt for the Touch Control Heat Guage is a1/4-28 x2 -1/2" Bolt.
They sent me a 2" both times
@@FarmallFanatic I got the info. from the IH parts book.
I think it’s hilarious and entertaining how silly you talk. You gotta put a lot a thought into rolling out some of your sayings. Unless it’s just natural. If that’s the case, I wanna party with you, dude.
Trust me, I have to think about how not to say things lol
Wonder how the engine likes hytran? I just found some in there. From a leaking o-ring in the pump.
HyTran is 10 weight oil...use 30 weight from now on in your hydraulics
A gasket made out of the back of your lucky charm's cereal Box works as good as any paper gasket material.
I want OEM lol
@@FarmallFanatic You don't buy OEM Lucky Charms?
@@ikonseesmrno7300 Hahahaha top shelf dad joke right there!
The aftermarket parts are insane these days. My current project and UA-cam video had a delay due to a brand new transmission shaft not meshing with a original gear. The teeth on the new one are not machined exactly right. 😥 $225 down the drain. The struggles are real.
And shouldn't exist
New products assume a thin crappy tinfoil mount. Even the smaller older tractors didn't have wimpy mounts.
True
😊😊T. F. S.
Was that pipe thread? A little Teflon tape or plumber dope if it starts too leak on the probe.
Yep...I don't think it's gonna leak, but we'll find out
@@FarmallFanatic That depends on who supplies the OEM sellers the “ OEM “ parts. Caterpillar dropped a supplier that manufactured all their own parts to print specs and dropped them for 7 cent price difference from a buyer who did not manufacture any of their parts. They paid out over $2 million in warranty claims and replaced 170 engines due to a possible fire hazard because the material in the injector solenoid were prone to swelling causing them to leak. I could tell you a lot of stories…
That's what I say what Home Depot sells be junk I'm paying top dollar I expected to be 100%
Definitely need a new spring in the seat, stay away from bumps🤣
💥Boom💥
Stay away from food you mean? Ahahahahahahaha 🤣

Hi I need the level bar and the left to right bar for my super c. Do you have the link to the guy where you are getting yours from.
It's a friend...he had an extra
I’ve had several tractors with that gauge, not one ever moved the needle
Why not
@@FarmallFanatic never gets hot.
Off the subject, but how did your beans do. Yeild and dock. Thanks
48 bushel...decent. I limed and put 60lbs of potash down
For standing all winter you sure can't complain. Did you get much dock ?
Glad you got them off , their worth good money. And you will need it for this year's crop inputs. Everything sure is rediculous.
@@burtzorn4059 oh no, my harvested fields put out that...I got 15 off these lol
Complete tractor is that where you buy off ebay?
Lol
@@FarmallFanatic I bought this temp gauge 2019
Fact of the matter is all this stuff is old, and it's a niche market for parts. How many places you have to look to find the bits and of those how many had it in stock and of those how many weren't foreign? It's only gonna get harder.
I agree
@@FarmallFanatic The good news is if you download the old parts manual indexes found in the service and dealer manuals they list info on bearing size and specs. Places like McMaster-Carr carry all manner of generic bearing, fittings, bolts, and the like. chances are good you can order exactly what you need if you know the exact dimensions and thread count of what you're looking for.
The nut trying to get into the pocket?
Tiny ass thing lol
het, i was wondering you said you had a monkey on your back. i looked all over your back i not see one. yes keep that farmall hoy and running good tractors.. i wound up buy a international; 2410 construction loader tractor
By the time you saw my back, it was off
