When I was younger we had a Super C,H,and a Super MTA(my favorite). My dad and I would watch your videos and it would give us good phone conversations over the past couple years. I lost him on July 19th this year. Sure miss talking with him, but your videos help keep his memory close. Thank you.
Converted a 1962 Ford 641 35 years ago without no UA-cam or internet help. Put a 1974 Vega alternator on it, looked factory, and I've seen a lot of Rats nest wiring jobs in my time.
And that Mr. Pete, is what separates you from the other many UA-camrs. Your knowledge and experience as an engineer and demonstrating it to us is great. Your dads fabricating and wielding is above par. Both you and your wife have a blessed day.
I so love watching you working on the tractors my Dad was at collage in Kracow when the Germans invaded and he was studying agroculture engineering taken into to forced labour too pick carrots in southern Germany he escaped made his way too Spain with a friend and ended up in England and joined the free polish army as an engineer fought in Italy with Cassino on his list servierly wounded and evacuated back too England too be nursed by his future wife my mom. After the war he stayed in England and became a very well respected agrocultural engineer and I lloved being in his work shop pulling apart tractors or other farm tools
I am a 65 year youngster who sews and makes quilts but I love watching you and your tractors, and the rest. Agree about the mumbo-jumbo so my response is "Oh...OK" 😁
I have no background or knowledge with the mechanics you restore so skillfully. You explain everything with so much ease - I actually follow along and learn so much! Well done - these videos are fantastic!
My dad was a Farmall dealership mechanic and had his own shop after the dealer closed. I remember he did several 12 volt conversions. NAPA was usually his parts source.
Hi pete i am from the island of malta in the mediterranean i allways watch your videos . I used to work on a farm and very famiiar with tractors one particular was internation drott with chain wheels . Was used for trashing wheat with a belt attached to it. I wish you all well and keep given us that most satisfaction live on the farm thank you
Pete you are a great teacher. I used to have a Super C too when I was farming. And you are spot on that is such a handy tractor to drive around the farm. In fact my dad always referred to it as his favorite “chore tractor”. But I hope you don’t have some regrets about not upgrading the head lights. You never know when you may want to take your wife out to the DQ some night. Thanks for all of your dedication and efforts to make and post such high quality videos.
I have enjoyed your videos very much. I have had a lifelong dream of farming. A line of duty injury has “retired” me earlier than I expected and I found your channel at a time that I needed. Thank you and Best Wishes!
Pete!!!! You tell everyone you were an Architect in the past....but are you sure you weren't a 1) Mechanical Engineer 2) Electrical Engineer 3) Civil Engineer 4) Millwright 5) All of the above?? You sure seem to know a lot more than any Architect I know......and I know a lot of them!! Also, I sure hope your Dad received a big pork chop or two for that nice looking bracket he fabricated. Boy, I (and probably a lot of your viewers) would love to have a neighbor like your Father! Keep up the "Good work". Rich from PA
Pete.... You make my day when I can have my morning coffee and watch your vlog at the same time. Your channel is so relaxing. Best to you and your wife.
I really like your tractor repair videos. I know I won’t be the first or last to say it but that be a great tractor to do a total redo. I know you said in the past your not into a total refurb right now but maybe one day. Thanks keep them coming .
Really instructional, Pete. The more I watch, the more I catch up on my lack of knowledge regarding electricity. Your vids are always entertaining and most are highly educational. Thank you very much.
Good one Pete! My dad had a Super C IH back when I was in my teens, always loved running it. So we had the Farmall H and the Super C and they both did an awesome job. Thanks for the reminder of days long ago. Have a nice week!
Pete the good old days of 6 volt systems and the fairly simple change over to 12 volts is interesting and gives you a little more trouble free option. Looking forward to part 2.
Your super C brings back some of my favorite childhood memories , going to my uncles farm in n. Florida, driving his super C. I learned to back a trailer on his tractor. I’m glad he was patient with me, I’ve backed a lot of trailers since then.
Always love the videos. Make my day a little bit better. I think all batteries should have the GO handle... Future video, you and Derek find an old Farmall that has been sitting for 30 years and ride it 500 miles back home... Keep up with the great work
Sometimes you are re the windshield and sometimes your the bug you maent to say Pete, you have my upmost admiration with your tractor work, experience is a wonderful thing.
It's great you have your Dad there with you I sure miss mine he could make things work sometimes he used a little baling wire but it worked enjoy what time you have with your Dad I sure miss mine
Hi Pete, I too am a 1953 model. All my life 53 has been my year and even the number 53 has been one of my favoured numbers. The number on Herbie the love bug Volkswagen Beatle was 53. I really liked you story of your neighbour who liked his tractor ‘cause it was a 53. I though I was the only one like that. We are all likely that way.
Pete, é gratificante ver seu pai tirando você do apuro.. 😂😂😂😂 Ele fez um bom trabalho ao criar você como uma cópia dele, valorize isso. Super abraço para toda família aqui do meu amado Brasil 🇧🇷.
Thanks Pete ...I have my Grand dads 51 super C ..Use it all the time for grading my road.hauling firewood and mowing.Always though about changing it to 12v ....But it still charges just fine.Still has og generator and regulator.I just love me some old Farmalls!!
Thank you for what you are doing on your channel. My wife and I really enjoy watching you. I have also started using your videos in the agriculture classes that I teach.
My uncles super c works wonderful and as a bonus it has a front loader. It's the best starting tractor on his farm and is used for raking, cultivation, front loader work and most utility work.
I really enjoy improvising when needed. When I work on an item and need to remove parts, I still save the parts but I will put the parts in a baggie and place a piece of paper in the bag of what the part is just in case I should ever need it again. And that has happened! I enjoy and comprehend for the most part schematics on certain pieces of machinery. It’s nice to see your dad. He is very knowledgable
Love these "work on old stuff" videos. I miss the days when you open the hood of the car and see an engine. And, the ability to work on them with basic tools. Good times they were. And always keep a spare condenser handy (just in case).
love the video Pete. Reminds me of the time my Dad and I converted a 1948 Chevy 2 1/2 ton truck from 6 volt to 12.volt. We left on the originial starter and man did it spin starting that 265 Chevy 6 cylinder.
Nice conversion Pete. My issue with the 6v systems is the batteries for them tend to be nothing but cheap. 6V starters will endure 12V without major problems.
I just converted My 1948 Chev Pickup to 12 volt. Lots of work but it taught Me a lot about wiring, which I struggled with. Really enjoyed this video can't wait for the next video. Thanks Pete for the lesson.
I did this same project on my M. I used an internal resisted coil. Same procedure and same issues. I didn't have any manuals so I spent more time on UA-cam watching. Starting and stopping the video at each step lol.
Pete the" worm" ate me as soon as you started switching wires ,beyond household wiring I leave it to those who know what they are doing like you. My question is why switch to 12v at all ,I'm sure there is an answer. My philosophy is if it work leave it alone *LOL* I'm in awe of you and your knowledge of these old machines .I 'm sure that few who buy a bunch of Pork chops from you realise how multi functional you are. its fascinating watching you and listening to your philosophy on life, young folks could learn a lot from your vlogs.. Take care Hilarie too, I hope the tractor runs like clockwork Cheers from Canada
I was wondering about the Super C, I know it was your "Go to" Fencer machine. Now that the secret is out now we know. I have a 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook that is a 6 volt that I would love to convert to 12 volt. Thanks to you, I have a clue.
I had lots of 6 volt troubles too, going thru several cheap aftermarket regulators and then adjusting them but they wouldn't hold the right voltage, too little then too much. What a pain. But then I bought an expensive regulator from Brillman. What a difference, trouble free from then on!
Crimped and raked a lot of hay on a super c back in the late 70s and 80s on my Dad’s Hereford beef farm. Loved as a young boy sitting high on that Farmall!
I’ve noticed you’re always wearing college tshirts. We’re in Bolivar Ohio and we’re loving the Ohio State shirt tonight! Go Buckeyes! Love your channel!
Thanks Pete I always enjoy your videos no matter what you are showing us. Thanks to your Dad for making that bracket that helped you a lot. You have lots of knowledge enabling you to do so many things that a average person wouldn't do.
I wouldn't call myself a guy that is into doing any type of engine work! But for reason I'm sure relate to Pete seemingly knowing how it's done. I tend to enjoy these videos which also cover the other things that he seems to enjoy doing so much on his farm. Thanks for sharing Pete, and I am looking forward to part two. Enjoy the warm weather Fall then winter 🥶 will be here before you know it.

Touching.
Sorry for the loss of your dad.
Sorry for your loss
Love to see 'old' equipment staying active. best thing about them, there is NO computer. Simple wiring. love them all

It’s so good to see the Super C on the go again! Thanks for your videos. They are informative and well done.

Pete,
Many of us enjoy watching you working on old tractors. Keep up the good work.
I really like your tractor repair videos. I know I won’t be the first or last to say it but that be a great tractor to do a total redo. I know you said in the past your not into a total refurb right now but maybe one day. Thanks keep them coming .
Always great to see your dad helping you do a repair on the equipment ❣️❣️❣️
Pete, I love your no nonsense approach to life and especially the anti amazon parts porcurment.
Really instructional, Pete. The more I watch, the more I catch up on my lack of knowledge regarding electricity. Your vids are always entertaining and most are highly educational. Thank you very much.
Great educational video, one wire Delco from the local NAPA store
Man I appreciate this video! I’ve got a B I’m restoring and that I’ve had electrical issues with and I’m just going to go this route instead!
Great job Dad on the alternator bracket! I was thinking along that line myself. Best wishes.
I've got an H tractor I think we're going to switch it to 12 volt great video don't miss one of your videos such an informative person
The new alternator needs some "patina" to match the rest of the tractor. I thoroughly enjoy these videos!!
The restoration has begun. I know your tired and you don’t want to do it, but it’s started!
Good one Pete! My dad had a Super C IH back when I was in my teens, always loved running it. So we had the Farmall H and the Super C and they both did an awesome job. Thanks for the reminder of days long ago. Have a nice week!

Pete your timing is once again impeccable! Just in time for lunch my friend.
Thanks again for video. Your very intelligent. God bless.

Interesting video Pete. I always enjoy seeing you working on tractors.
How are you feeling now? Are you fully recovered from Covid?
Great to see you again all the best to you and your family Joe
Always love the videos. Make my day a little bit better. I think all batteries should have the GO handle... Future video, you and Derek find an old Farmall that has been sitting for 30 years and ride it 500 miles back home...

Yea Dad labor. Thanks Dad for the help.
ANY antique tractor lessons on electrical or hydraulic are much appreciated!! Pete, you teach very well
I hope you clean it and paint it all! It sure needs it but you know that better than I do! Always a pleasure to see you!God bless!💞
Adding LED bulbs was a huge improvement on my M , 986 and 1586. I would highly suggest it!
Great video. You have a natural ability to talk to the camera that I need to learn.
I knew that the master fabricator AKA dad was going to be in there somewhere thank you
Hi Pete, I too am a 1953 model.
Mr. Pete. I just wonder how many people watch your channel just so they learn to fix their tractors. Plus it was good to see Dad.
You are so blessed to have your dad close and that he is so talented!!! Your knowledge about these tractors blow me away!!!!
Pete, é gratificante ver seu pai tirando você do apuro.. 😂😂😂😂
Ele fez um bom trabalho ao criar você como uma cópia dele, valorize isso.

My uncles super c works wonderful and as a bonus it has a front loader. It's the best starting tractor on his farm and is used for raking, cultivation, front loader work and most utility work.
I love that old tractor. Pete, I think you could start a whole line of how to videos. Your a outstanding teacher.
The Vice Grip Garage references are funny, Happy to see you enjoy Derek's humor also. Thank you for the video.
I really enjoy improvising when needed. You know so much about tractors! I got my dad watching you videos as he loves tractors and learning more about them.

Another good video Pete i still enjoy learning alway nice to see dad whenever
I missed not going through a door today, but that's ok...the electrical lesson was worth it!
I did this same project on my M. I used an internal resisted coil. Same procedure and same issues. I didn't have any manuals so I spent more time on UA-cam watching. Starting and stopping the video at each step lol.

Appreciate part two with you wearing the same shirt. We luv the BUCS and Green Model “H” tractors. Thanks for your productions
I was wondering about the Super C, I know it was your "Go to" Fencer machine. Now that the secret is out now we know. I have a 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook that is a 6 volt that I would love to convert to 12 volt. Thanks to you, I have a clue.
I just changed out my 1956 300 Utility. Works great. Thanks for sharing Pete.

I do enjoy your videos. Giving us some great advice as I am looking to homestead here soon. See you next time.
Crimped and raked a lot of hay on a super c back in the late 70s and 80s on my Dad’s Hereford beef farm. Loved as a young boy sitting high on that Farmall!
Heck yeah, I enjoyed the video. Always in for a little education while you work.
I’ve noticed you’re always wearing college tshirts. We’re in Bolivar Ohio and we’re loving the Ohio State shirt tonight! Go Buckeyes! Love your channel!
Pete, I'd kind of like to see you rebuild/restore that little tractor! Last you for the rest of your life and look good too!
Love that old Super C. Mr. Larson is an engineering genius who can make anything you need. I look forward to seeing the Super C back in service.
Thanks Pete Enjoyed can’t wait till the finish.
Thanks Pete I always enjoy your videos no matter what you are showing us. Thanks to your Dad for making that bracket that helped you a lot.

There’s a winter project if ever I saw one 😂. Love your videos, reminds me of my past life when I was younger
Enjoy watching you work on the tractors. Always learn something.
For an architect your very good with mechanics. I'm guessing it's not your only profession.
