When a fella is grinning ear to ear doing the busy work of spreading the poo you know he’s doing the right thing in life.
Amen Matthew!
This fella enjoys it greatly. If I had the time, I'd be spreading all the manure using the F20, 10-20, Super C, H, and MD.
I'd rather use Deere if y'all don't mind.
@@bethmotgomery2662 Choice is what makes America great!
It is a shitty job
I just want to say... You did a awesome job getting drone footage and editing. Many don't know how much extra work this is. Great stuff Pete!
Yeah! Great comment! Pete probably put way more time into this video than it took to actually haul the manure out. Pete is truly a master at putting out a great fun to watch video
Drone footage👍👍👍👍
Like a little kid in a candy store good job keep up the good work
when i saw the drone footage i was like 😮 ,bruh
The drones really add to it. But that snap where the trailer is empty then he snaps and it's full of poo... That shot is I'm sure way more complicated than it looks! Such a great job!
Pete, you just make me feel good. Your farm, family, animals and tractors are lucky to have such a caring person watching over them. Till next time...
I also feel very relaxed every time I watch Pete's videos. The animals at this farm are happy animals.
Oh Lord! The sound of the MD makes my heart sing 😊 and the smile on your face, Pete, tells me you feel the same. Great work today. All the best from the UK 🇬🇧
Great episode Pete, great use of the drone footage. Love how you’ve knitted it all together to make this video. Thank you for the just a few acres daily fix 👍🏼💙
Farmers don’t get enough credit for all the hard work they put in….thank you Pete and family!!
All the farmers in the world deserve respect and better credit.
Nice watching the equipment do what it was designed for Pete. Very nice drone footage also, she took one for the team so to speak! Lol.
It's great to see the MD and the Super C doing actual work. No trailer queens on this farm!!
Red Power all day everyday 💪 🙌
listening to an old tractor run is like listening to rain on a tin roof, just relaxes the soul
I rarely comment on videos, but wanted you to know I always enjoy your content. I am intrigued by tractors, but I think it's more about the contentment you seem to have in your day to day life on the farm. Your a good egg Pete.
Pete I live in Southern California. Had a machine and welding shop. Worked for all the farmers for over 40 years. You are awesome. God Bless you and yours.
I believe it was Thomas Wolfe who coined the phrase “you can’t go home again”. Robert Frost said, home is where you go and they have to take you in. The mind is wondrous and powerful , watching your videos the smells and experiences of my childhood return. I am once again on a 1937 Allis, my grandfather’s pride and joy, spreading “gold” on the fields. I often think if we could require our leaders to sit on a tractor for hours, maybe they would be more judicious in their decisions. Thanks Pete, just keep bring those wonderful memories.
The sounds and scents of spring, birds singing in the barn, tractor running with the fresh paint smell still upon it, manure being spread...a new season being born.
two comments Pete...first what your spreading on your fields is so much better than what's being spread in DC. Second I realize your operation is fairly small but I love all the work you do with 60-70 year old 2 wheel drive tractors. Not everyone needs a huge four wheel drive or track driven tractor. The work still gets done.
Brings back some good memories. I hauled a lot of manure with a Farmall M and a John Deere ground driven spreader. It was actually one of my favorite jobs in the spring.
They look like they just came from the showroom floor! Your extra work doesn't go unnoticed, thank you.
Very happy you are on the seat of a tractor! Spring, it's so rewarding.
The Super C sounds great! Thank you for showing her proudly working. You driving her out of the barn to work in the chicken field put a big smile on my face also.
Great to see the old iron working. The MD would have no problem with the big manure spreader and it would give the PTO some work. Thanks Kent from PEI
Hi Pete 🙂 Just wanted to inform you that watching your videos are more relaxing than 8 hours of sleep! I simply just LOVE your channel and all the videos you so generously share with us. Thank you so much, and a Happy Easter to ya´ll ;-)
I think the MD is my favourite. Nothing like the older farm gear. If it breaks down it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to fix it. Great video Pete! Glad you enjoy the sh- work.
Read a meme recently where an older woman said she grew up in a time when, if something broke, we fixed it. I like fixing things and keeping old things. Your tractors are truly works of art.
Good job Pete. You looked like a proud papa sitting up there on those old tractors that you gave new life to, and rightly so.
The MD and the Super C are absolutely gorgeous and purring like kittens. Beautiful!!
What a great way to start a Thursday morning, cup of coffee and watching Pete's Farmalls out working! I love the sound of the red tractors working....
Hello Pete. I totally agree with you on the meaning of running old machines you rebuild yourself. I have a small farm like you and I rebuilt 3 of my tractors from the engines to clutches ect.. Not to the extent as you did but it feels so great to get them out there in hay season and know what you did and see all the improvements. I look forward to all your videos and it makes my day better. Thank you and have a great day!
This is going to be a fun episode to watch! It's so much fun to feel like riding on the fender of these tractors with Pete. Takes me back to a simpler time in the 1950's where seatbelts were tucked away by s car salesman and kids could ride in the back.
I don't know what it is but I could watch those old tractors work all day, thanks for sharing. Maybe I'm just old but watching old equipment run and do its thing is so fulfilling.
I never get tired of watching your progress during the year.
I just learned that not all antique tractors had three point hitches. It’s not important but interesting. I think it’s wonderful to see your dedication to these old tractors paying off. The Super C and MD look great and I can tell they are running great too.
Very relaxing. Reminds me of sitting on a WD or a WD 45 on my dad‘s place and making multiple trips out to the field with the spreader. I was probably the age of your son or younger and older doing that for countless hours. Lots of time of reflection and opportunity to revel in the farm life and what has been provided for us. Thanks for sharing.
Recently retired, I pulled a spreader like that with an H .Didn’t realize then what good memories they would be. Thank you for helping me remember
I love the hum that all the old Farmall have when you get them working.
I spent some time with my brother this week. We used his Super M to skid logs to his log mill.
These old tractors are nice to hear in your videos and amazing in person. My brothers Super M has had some work done but was not restored. So it’s wee bit rough. I would love to help him restore it one day soon.
Flying your drone from above through a flurry of dung ... and I want more! We need more content like this.
Pete, Just the fact that your tractors start up after a long period of time speaks to your skill as a mechanic.
So many people do not understand the joy of working on the land the way you do. I'll be there shortly. Thanks Pete
Great to see the tractors getting out and stretching their legs lol thanks for sharing
What a pleasure watching the older equipment in action again. Thanks Pete. 👍👍
Wow the tractors operated flawlessly nothing like the smell of diary air in the morning😮 thanks Pete
We love to see you run the old tractors Mr. Pete. No new tractors today will outlast those. I hope y'all have a wonderful Easter!
One of your best videos yet. I love to see the older equipment used on the farm. Great drone footage...
I love how shiny and new the old farmall looks, with stickers and all. Great Job.💯
It’s full circle in all its beauty. Regenerating the land from its own hay using regenerated equipment. Pete is the enabler. Another amazing video!
The manure pile is starting to go away with a lot more poo the spread before spring is over. Always a treat to see the old machinery still being used on the farm. As long as it is working well, it is good for the soul, and great feeling when you have restored it yourself😊
Those sure are some good sounds. You've inspired me to learn a little more about working on this old equipment. I honestly didn't realize how much I truly do enjoy it. I bought my first Farmall (a 1948 M) recently and I'm having the time of my life with that tractor. My son is really getting into it as well, which makes it that much more fun.
PS: there's nothing cooler than when you throw the lever to switch from gas to diesel on the MD. I could watch that 1000 times!
Never knew someone could be so happy flingin' poo! Loved the sounds of those engines too - purring away just like lil Ezra.
I love the sound of those old Farmall tractors and as for my favorite old machine sound the clatter of an old pitman sickle mower. I wanted to say the view of your farm from above was nice. Good work with the drone. Great video Pete. I always enjoy watching
I enjoy seeing the old equipment and the care you put into them. I enjoy seeing them restored and original.
I love to see the machines working....looking great!!
What a lovely sound. Music to our ears. A symphony in Red.
We have roughly 120 acres in Ohio. would love to have an operation similar to yours. the videos you produce always inspire me and give great advice and ideas!
Pete, I could watch this all day. Thank you for providing many hours of entertainment and education.
I liked the tipping the hat as you drive by with the manure spreader. That's guy who's confident in his work!
I like the way you lovingly pan that beautifully restored antique tractor. It is a shiny red glorious sight!
I'm slightly jealous of that pretty spreader wagon!
The snapping the finger with Pete's "oh, come on!" And on the 3rd snap it works! 3rd times a charm would make for a cool signature move in more videos made by Pete . I always get a good laugh when these are done
My mum always use to say I can't click my fingers and dinners ready!! Seeing Pete click his fingers and filling the tray has got me rethinking life 😂
That Super C started right up. Great restoration work.
Good evening from the UK.
I've only just found your channel, and what a great video to start. So nice to see older machines still being cared for and used.
We had an A and a C on our small farm as a child and your video takes me back to learning to drive on those tractors. Nothing beats the sound of those engines working.
Thanks for another great episode of “Just a Few Acres Farm”. I really appreciated all of the excellent drone footage. And of course watching and listening to your beautifully restored IH tractors. Looking forward to you putting the chickens back on the range soon.
Have a very happy and blessed Easter weekend!🙏
I am proud to admit that I just enjoyed the heck out of watching you spread manure with your old tractors…and although my father never got to raise pigs like he always wanted to, his father surely did. Guess it’s in the blood.😜
Great video pete! Love the MD. Just sucks how scarce parts are, would love too see the little CUB restored next winter. ;)
You did a brilliant job on the restorations of those tractors enjoy using them with all the hours put into them .
Those Farmalls run so well. They sound like they just left the factory. Excellent drone footage.
This takes me back a few years. When I visited the family farm in South Dakota, my uncle still had a small ground driven spreader that I could use on the Ford 8N. I might not have accomplished a lot, But it was fun to play serious farmer as a teenager.
SHOWOFF, LOL I just love seeing you using an almost 85 year old machine doing what its made for. Working the farm!!. Keep on farming Pete. Love the videos.
Love seeing the tractors getting some work and the drone footage
Hi Pete, ah manure spreading, what a joy. I understand where you’re coming from when you say that the old tractors bring you so much joy. These old tractors have character and a history that dates back to your birth. These old babies were built in factories that used skilled labor to build them not AI and robots 🤖. They truly are work horses. Great 👍 video Pete, take care and say hi to Hillary.
I like the drone footage; it adds a lot, seeing things from those perspectives.
It is awesome to see these old tractors being used!!!
I drove an MD in vermont in @1970 with a broken manure spreader. The farmer was too cheap to fix it so he bought some yellow raincoats to wear. I'll never forget that plop plop plop. I hope that MD ended up with a collector. It was an antique when I drove it.
Pete, I love it when you explain things, but I REALLY enjoyed just listening for a while too.
You can see the shine in Pete's eyes!!😁
Nice job Pete! Most farmers I know rebuild an old tractor and then just let it gather dust!!! Nice to see the old equipment put to work!🚜
I love watching you use older farm machinery to do stuff on your farm.
Pete, Great video! I enjoyed seeing the ole Super C and the MD stretching their legs. It is nice to see they are not just trailer queens! LOL Also the drone footage was a neat addition. Please keep up the great content and God Bless You and Hillary and your entire family.
After my grandad died our tractor was rotting in a garage for years. Then we decided to restore it. I started crying when i heard again his sound. I love your videos, they bring me a lot of good memories.
It's the simple thing that can make us smile!
As much as I like the Beauty of your restorations , I think you using them as regular farm tractors is the most think I like.
Ten years ago I worked at a small cemetery in Hammond Indiana. We had a 1951 Farmall C with a wide front. It pulled all the dirt from digging in a dump cart and hauled the vault lowering device as well. Very reliable piece of history. Thanks for all the knowledge you share.
Kudos to your camera person for the excellent shots and aerial video. Great to see that machinery being used!
I love watching your channels Pete! I grew up on a 160 acre 4 row farm in central Nebraska. After Dad retired, the farm went back to the landlord & I sure do miss it. Thanks for all you do for your viewers!
Can almost smell it! Every spring when I was a kid living in Denver, a farmer would deliver manure to most of the homes in the neighborhood. Needless to say, we didn’t play on the grass for a few weeks.
I love the aerial shots. A lovely view. I can smell the manure here in Louisville, Kentucky!
The Super C sounds great with a load.
I like the power or your fingers snapping. You were able to fill the manure spreader AND move the tractor into the background. That is really powerful!
Definitely love the sound of those engines running.
It would be cool to see the MD on the New Holland spreader. Plenty of power to run it! My uncles used to put an old Farmall 300 on their New Idea tandem spreader when nothing else was available. it got the job done.
I hear you loud and clear, Pete. I'm the same way with motorcycles. Riding an old bike I've fixed up myself is not comparable to riding even a brand new motorcycle with all its bells and whistles. The the joy of riding plus a sense of accomplishment adds up to satisfaction that's hard to beat.
Tell ya what Pete, that MD has got to be the prettiest sounding tractor I have ever heard work. It sounds better than it did before it dropped a valve last year. Im glad you restored it, and I think it is a special tractor, not just to you because it is a family heirloom, but to all of us who follow the channel. Many of us would have never seen or heard an MD work because they are so rare and expensive to work on, but it was worth it. Keep up the good work Pete, and I can't wait for this season to kick off and to follow along with you.
The best thing about Pete’s channel is knowing that he and Hillary do all that on less than 50 acres. Most amazing is that he buys these old tractors that still have potential and REBUILDS them HIMSELF. Saving mucho $ in the process. THAT’S a self sufficient farmer. Keep up the great work!
It must feel great to do all that work restoring the tractor and then go out and have it do a good job in the field. I would probably still be trying to figure out what to do with all the parts that I had leftover and wondering why it wasn’t running very well.
Keep up the good work Pete!
You’ve done a great job on the super C Pete. Beautiful tractor I have the one my great grandpa bought new it has never left the farm still have all of the cultivators. My plan is for it to someday look as good as that one.
It was great seeing how happy you are at doing what you do best and loving it. Farming!!!! Great drone shots!
Nice video Pete. Enjoyed the aerial shots. I am invested in my 2011 Ford Ranger even though I don't personally work on it I keep it running properly and enjoy it very much.
Thank you for the overhead farm shot. Beautiful property ❤
Love the videos and keep up the great work. And I love to see the MD and Super C working.
