"You will play the game as the developers intended" was the alternative name for the newest DLC until they came up with By Blood Alone
BBA should still be called that. No XP grinding in Ethiopia so you're supposed to play how the developers want. Not to mention the militias lol

As a relative noob on HOI4 I learned more watching this video than any other 😂
the reason they work is because those combat widths are good now for some reason and so long as your air and tech is better then the allies then you should have no problem because you will never run out of supply.

Hey Alex, they nerfed soviet counter operation - they had 5% chance by NKVD advisors to find your operatives and nerfed them to 0.2% 😉

This was basically my first playthrough except I only built 20 and later 40 width infantry/artillery with superior firepower.
I dont care how the game is played. I tune into these videos to see the rambler man crush peoples skulls.....also, notice Alex's mustache. Have a good day.

The only way to play the game "as the devs intended" is to follow the historical ai's strategy. You'd need to go into observation mode and observe every move the ai makes: Researches, troop mobilizations, template edits, equiptment upgrades decisions. advisors, production, etc. and then repeat them. The only thing you probably won't need to document is troop movements
Long gone are the days of incompetent Alex.

You could have also gone through the historical focus tree order. ;)
Yeah, if you go into modding, it's literally just an sequential order text file that the AI follows without any concern for the strategic situation. The moment one of the requirement breaks, the AI switches off of historical and goes WILDCARD.

If that’s what the developers intended, then why are all the other features there?
I mean, I think the templates are left empty deliberately to encourage the player to design them...

Didn't the developers want you to mix infantry with tanks thus use spacemarines? Just asking I heard this somewhere
They purposedly put acap on special forces battalions exactly to limit space marines.
Just turn off dlc to not have the customizations

See, you're not doing it the Developer Intended way. Because you invaded Britain. And the AI (and thus developer intended path) REFUSES to invade the British Home Island even if you gain complete naval superiority for the Axis. The German and Italian AI will STILL refuse to invade it. It's part of why the Axis always loses in the current patches. The AI is quite literally coded to never actually do anything that could conceivably get them a victory.
