@@hagank1111 We had plans in the far future for some meme countries (Like the Republic and CIS) but those will likely not happen now. Maybe once Pen (The lead dev) is able to dev actively again we'll get them released.

@Fordo007 I know right they wouldn't really have to build vehicles as manpower kinda equals vehicles except maybe boats but we never really got any say on that

Hi Alex, one of the Equestria at War developers here. I'd like to invite you to give Equestria at War a try again, as we recently added a third whole continent to the game along with around 85 new nations, 500 states, and a whole load of unique focus trees. It still has plenty of map-gaming content - I'd suggest one of the following recently added nations for a good overview of what it contains :
Hippogriffia (communist path has posadist-like ideology, which is based on the real life theorist J. Posadas who believed that the only space faring entities would be from a socialist society and in EaW is based around heavy advancements in tech and nuclear power.)
Colthaginian Republic (there are many paths, the most 'well known' secret path leads to esoteric fascism and a society based around rebuilding the deceased equine god and allows you to do a choose your own adventure system and do some alchemy crafting with custom UIs for both. If you want to try this particular route out :
1. Allow the Constitutionalists to revolt and switch to them.
2. Take the deal with the Militarists during the civil war.
3. After winning the first civil war, invite the Coltvans to negotiations through your focus tree (the negotiations will fail if you took the deal in step 2)
4. Coltva will declare war and you'll get an opportunity to switch to them. Do so. (Zarishat Zeirutid should be your leader at this point)
5. After winning the second civil war, allow the government to collapse, then wait.
6. Select "The Covenant" from the new list of countries in the Third Colthaginian Civil War (Recommended to turn on in game music before selecting this option for a unique song composed specifically for this nation)
Chiropterra (slaver based society with elite troops in the style of the enclave, but with heavy reverence for the ingame/lore deity 'Nightmare Moon' and a military-theocratic isolationist state.) Across all the possible routes (some of which are hidden and require the country to be beaten by a player (playing as Tobuck or Zarantia is easiest), then swapped to via event to experience full hidden trees), Chiropterra alone has over 500 focuses with descriptions.

Oh God. I played this mod out of curiosity and I have no idea who or what anything is cause I'm not into that stuff. But the work and effort behind the mod really shines through. Good work. Would love to see Alex try and swing at it. Cause he will be completely confused or lost. And that always cracks me up.
@@charliescene786 He's played it a couple times in the past, but hopefully he'll take a look at one of the suggested newer countries as we've done some real special work with Zebrica. Give it a try yourself, you don't have to be a Loremaster to do a small bit of conquering.
I second this, and if he wants tons of war and conquest go for Griffionian Republic or Empire, old content but still good. But I loved my Posada play through.

I never watched my little pony, but if equestria at war isn't the single best hoi4 mod, I don't know what is.
The funny thing about this game is that once you win WW2, it keeps trying to set up conditions to start WW3, WW4, randomly whatever country might start it 🤷♂️
I thought I would never see the day where in a Star Wars film Italy was a competent ally to Luke Skywalker as they battle the Imperial forces in the deserts of the Middle East and blow up spaceships from the coast of Oman to the Mediterranean Sea, the plains of Syria and the hills of Iran
Hi Alex, maybe try "Pride and Fall" mod. It's about modern Poland collapse and break into hundreds of new small countries. Currently it's still demo version with only few countries with focus tree (including Polish president with young scouts and Andrzej Sapkowski who went nuts and believe that he lives in Witcher series). Definitely worth a try

Seeing those capture rate buffs for Rebels makes me wonder what would happen if divs had maintenance companies. Could you get more guns than you use from engagements?
Because they landed next to the belgian congo's its likely that the caracters in the mod think that belgium is a big and strong country so they could get a alliance maybe

Why is Romania and Germany there
Germany builds up and then has a goal of 1v1'ing the Empire for control of the planet basically. Romania is there to act as a multiplayer option for someone I believe from what I played.

Yes, but they completely borked the mod to shoehorn in the rebellion then only focused on developing them. After seeing your previous videos of this mod I gave it a try only to be sadly disappointed. It went from being an interesting fantasy situation to a boring fan fiction very quickly. I sincerely wish the original mod had continued.
I'm not sure what you wanted out of the mod if that's your opinion. They've also reworked the German focus trees and are having to redo the tech trees because By Blood Alone broke them.
