Thicker plywood on the front because of solar panels?
Nope, customer wanted thicker roof sheathing, but since the back side of the garage ties into the existing house we were forced to install the same size of house sheathing onto the back of the garage roof

How much did this project cost? I have a carport I'd love to convert.

the question was direct and can be answered quickly. person wasn't asking about a future project, but THIS ONE. How much? If no answer, means REALLY PRICEY (20k+?) then.

@@1FearlessVictoria Only an idiot contractor would say a price online for all the world to see. If I were his customer, I would not want him to tell the world what I paid. If I was a potential customer I would choose someone who is not blabbing to everyone what my project cost. This is not some DIY project. If someone wants a price, then schedule a contractor to come look at it.
