    Such a gorgeous book - each shed is unique and inspiring, and I love all the tiny details Kotite features to help readers imagine how to create their own She Sheds ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxe9yi0sulKgsp0VJJCIrLWWkvVqcU7LFR . I found the chapters in ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxYGamVaHfdHiPlAQaLa7zkwR02OKpGYDU to be very relevant to my project as I embarked on building my first ever structure from the ground up. I especially found this Ryan’s Shed Plans to be of great use when it came to building the roof. I was able to do all the cuts and installation by myself, with a little reference to this Ryan’s Shed Plans.

    I can see that pre cutting provides a good efficiency to the workforce, but it's also really evident that this dude has built more than a couple of these kits, he's totally familiar and practiced. I wonder how the average Joe would get on.

    I've been building homes and metal buildings for almost 30 years. Dude deserves credit. Even being precut there's still a ton of things to do, thousands of operations such as take screw from pouch, load screw, install screw without burning it out, repeat approximately 5000 times. Great job to that installer... made me tired just watching him. i can't work THAT hard anymore

    Here’s the reality... I built my own garage for the first time... it’s a 24x27 pole barn. It took me probably 2 months... I didn’t have much help at all. Had the posts and 2x4s& 2x6s along the sides in a couple days... built my own trusses took a few days... then had a guy help me hang them the next weekend. In the next week done the sides with metal. The week after done the roof 2x4s along top and metal then took a month to get someone to do concrete.. I don’t do concrete... takes awhile when you try for the first time.

    I have watched other "build it quick" videos and while it's possible to do this, there's likely a crew (off camera) keeping the supply chain within arm's reach the whole time. They'd be moving 2x4s and fetching boxes of nails, plus grabbing coffee / lunch, all where we can't see. I'm sure all supplies were staged in specific locations around the job site the day before, based on minimum lost time.... from experience. For all we know there was also a line of dancing girls off to one side.... just to keep morale up.

    • @lucky13farms99
      @lucky13farms99 3 роки тому

      I agree, they probably had multiple tool belts preloaded with screws and all. Not to mention fresh batteries for the tools. I did ask the person who edited the video about off camera helpers. They probably went out a day earlier and laid out everything. Then were out of scene feeding him material. Pretty sure it's a lot of parts in a box and all. Take a day to simply unpack it and organize for the average Joe. The guy in the video is good and obviously experienced with this exact building. Would love to see some cross corner to corner measurements on this one, ;)
