WE ARE ON THE BORDER OF GILBERT AND CHANDLER ARIZONA WHERE WE ARE BUILDING A CASITA FOR OUR CUSTOMERS DAUGHTER. IN THIS CASE, ITS WAY MORE AFFORDABLE FOR THE HOMEOWNER TO BUILD A CASITA FOR HER DAUGHTER THEN IT IS TO PURCHASE A NEW HOME. ARIZONA GOVERNOR JUST PASSED A LAW ALLOWING CASITAS TO BE BUILT ON ANY ZONING. REALLY EXCITING FOR US BECAUSE WE LOVE BUILDING CASITAS! THIS IS PART 1 AND PART...

Do you guys sell the materials ?
Your create content on a great topic
Does the casita drain get T’d into the main home drain?
@@chrisd5383 yes, for this one it actually gets tied into the clean out in the front yard
@@everythingresidential easy enough thanks
If the primary home foundation is post to tension slab does the casita need to have one as well? Thanks
@@chrisd5383 no, you can do whatever you want. Most post tension slabs are poured due to soil conditions or so builders can prevent doing crack repairs with drywall
Thank bro now I have a better idea how
excellent detail on rafter tie in,,precisely what I needed, thank you
I think it's to not too
This is what I want to build in Citrus Heights Ca . I need blueprints . No one is comfortable enough to build without them.
Happy customer until they get water damage from water not running off away from the house. Really? Are you guys licensed? NO.
We are licensed! Check out some of our other UA-cam videos!
Aren't you supposed to drill a hole a bit bigger than the fastener before you insert the fastener? This is to allow for expansion and contraction of the panels, otherwise they buckle.
you could be right! we don't do these for projects for living as we specialize in a lot larger projects.
This is awesome! What is the size of this patio cover?
20’x 18’
@@everythingresidential Would you sell me the plans for this ?
I’m in Atlanta where can I find the wood in Ga.
Whats starting price ?
yo, this might be a dumb question, but as an az resident that visits family in the midwest, why are the construction styles so different? in az most houses look like they are made of concrete or brick but midwestern homes have siding and what not, why are southwestern homes built so differently from midwestern homes?
Do you have a link to those separators you put down before the roof covering??
Thanks for the video
Is there specific 2x4 needed for the support wall?
Cool intro music!
Thanks fellas. What’s a fair price to pay someone to do this?
you can hire a handyman and pay around 300$, 6 hours of work @ $50 including drive time and fuel.
Looks like it's going to be nice
Good song
Gonna be wobbly when that wood rots out
Good video u have finished product?

Brutality
Can this go on a tub shower that has a 56” insert height?
Handsome man
I would love bkueprint wanting to do a 13x15’ same way
Non-pro here, just regular DIYer, but here are a few things in this video I wouldn't do: - Throw my drills like that when I'm done with them - Use my finger on a likely hot drill bit to measure the hole depth - Hammer the anchor with its nut all the way at the top - Leave chunks of concrete inside the hole before putting in the anchor - Drive that nut without a torque wrench, but maybe that impact driver was set to correct torque Is this how pros do it? 🙃
Awesome video thanks. Where can I get brackets like those?
do you have plans for this project
Why not put beading board along the crack instead that foam
if you know the right people..... and how do we find the right people?
Where did you get these boards
Where is part two?
Great info!! Where do ya buy them? 🤠👍
what about draining inclination
Pitch! Strike out
I would like to get a quote for a patio at my house. I live in Phoenix
What if you're the homeowner who is doing the work with the help of a friend? I want to close part of an existing covered concrete patio, and include electrical and a small bathroom. Concrete slab and patio cover already there.
You will have to fill out a sheet that’s on there website that gives you permission to pull permits for them,m
this is exactly what you need to know not to do.😅
It rarely rains here, also an engineer stamped the design.
Would like to see the finished work
How much did you spend
I spent probably 21 full days working on the project.
Did you say $5 a board? that is a lot of boards.
How much did thus end up costing the client?
