There is so much from this single story that makes me feel so defeated about how the justice system works in America. In the beginning of the video when they mention he took a plea deal for a previous assault because the victim wouldn't testify. I think to myself no matter how scared or humiliated someone who has been abused I feel it's so important to work with investigators and prosecutors to get these people locked up for as long as possible. Then you hear them essentially make him a victim for the murder and it's just so absolutely confusing how so out of sorts this system works.

Bodega, where Reagan worked and was abducted from, is NOT Downtown. It's on High Street in the South Campus/Short North neighborhood.
Reagan should be alive right now. She and Golsby should have never crossed paths that fateful evening. Golsby was SUPPOSED to have been under tight community control. He was living in a halfway house but nobody was paying attention to him. He wore an ankle monitor that recorded his whereabouts 24/7. The problem was again, nobody was paying attention. Golsby stayed out past his curfew and did whatever he pleased. His post release control and monitoring was a joke! Golsby is a monster who should NEVER be released from prison.
