GM key fob - yet another repair video

Replacing the wornout key fobs for my wife's 2013 Chevy Malibu. I found I had to watch several youtube videos to figure out what the best plan of action was for me. Here is your chance to watch one more angle on a chronic GM problem.

I only have one fob so how do I program it without an existing one?

See video at 10:43. If you have a key&fob that will start the car (regardless of whether the buttons work on the fob) then you can program the new fob. If you dont have a key you have to go to a dealer. In any event this video only applies to this style of GM key&fob combination.
