I used to have to replace my fuel solenoid once per year until I started adding Lucas fuel system cleaner every 6 months. Been 4 years and no gas pedal lag or hesitation.

Did the camshaft sensors. But the weird one was the anti freeze plastic tank reservoir developed a pin hole leak. The door handles on inside the chrome pealed off and cuts fingers and now the reverse camera just quit, other than that the car has been great

I think the most common problem is p0171 or lean code due to vacuum leak which can also give u code p2091 and p0300(misfire). Replacing maf airflow sensor will help some but most likely the culprit will be intake manifold gasket needs replacement but not before u check any hose leak with a smoke leak test. Fixing that leak p0171 most likely fix p2091 air/fuel mixture(getting more air than car actually needs). If u don't want to spend big money on a smoke machine then diy the cheap way. Buy a Mason jar $1,baby oil $1 buy a soldering gun $4 both and air pump with 2 rubber line$6 both at harbor freight. Make 3 holes on the Mason jar cap 1 for the soldering gun, 2 for the 2 tubing line 1 that goes to the hand pump and the other to the brake booster hose. Put some rags inside the Mason jar and pour in baby oil in it. Close the lid and let it warm up and u have ur smoker. Advice disconnect hose where the filter and maf sensor is and place a latex glove over the air hose. U don't want the smoke to get to the sensor(too sensitive)

most likely your intake manifold bolts have loosened. its very common and will give that code, just tighten them up. happened to mine, i got that code and almost started replacing parts like you but sure enough i could see the blue manifold gasket, tightened the bolts and boom, fixed. @@RhondaRodriguez-rg4my

Your car is over 5 years old , It's normal for those sensor to go out after this meny years on Any Car/truck.
They have batteries in them most only last 3-5 years before needing replacing
You can have a tire shop like American tires replace them. But don't only replace the dead one replace all of them because they all have batteries with the same time on them.

Look, I have worked at dealerships since the mid 70’s, and as the EPA, CARB & sometimes the DOT require high fuel economy and engineers receive a bible of these requirements up to 4-5 years before taking effect. Every manufacturer has older engineers retire as younger inexperienced folk replace them. There is not one car, truck, Ute, cross-over that doesn’t have 3, 4 or 5 things go bad. It generally happens during warranty! 5,000hrs on a car is 150k miles. Lighter, thinner, cheaper, global and yes, everyone gets parts from around the world and big, small and Canada/Mexico in the mix. TBS are quoted here, not recalls. Parts that fail in high volume are called back for non-destructive and destructive failure analysis. A second design is issued. Here is the “RUB”. Aftermarket want a chunk of action, but they copy the original part with minor changes because of copyright infringement. But aftermarket shops are sold these parts. Not better, the ones that failed! Go to the dealer as they go online by VIN and problem, get a “Second Design” part…problem gone. Change oil & fluids. Use the correct stuff as 13 ATF versions fit one brand, not 13!
This is filling wiper bottle with water in Florida, then job changes and you are in South Dakota. It will freeze but I am sure you have other things on your mind, like staying warm!

Anyone had trouble with their car not wanting to shift up into 2nd or 3rd. I have a 2015 Malibu LT and barely 70's miles on it. It only does it sometimes but I want to fix before it tears up. One owner vehicle and I tested at AutoZone with a code tester and it shows that my shift solenoid #2 is stuck open and I think #5 may be stuck closed, or visa versa. I am just almost due for the 75,000 transmission fluid flush, filter and refill service. Has anyone else been through this?

@@Guzzor2 Bought one used on eBay. Make sure the 8th digit on TCM module matches 8th digit on your TCM module. A B C OR D IS GEN 2 G IS GEN 3 WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE UPDATE DIFFERENT TRANSMISSION FLUID PUMP. IT WILL COME WITH SOLENOIDS. SPRAY SOLENOIDS WITH CrC electronic cleaner to ooze the dirt contamination out of it. U0101 is the code for lost communication with TCM. After install, disconnect pos and negative battery cables from battery. Then attach alligator clips wire connecting them together for 10 minutes. Make sure battery has at least 12.2 bolts. Reconnect cables to battery terminals after taking off alligator clips. Car should start right up. Let idle for 5 minutes. Shift through each gear while holding down brake pedal for 5 seconds apiece. Put back in park. While engines running, take the 11mm transmission level bolt off located on driver's side on the side of transmission just above the transmission axle shaft add oil to top of transmission with black cap unscrewed until it slowly drains out of 11mm hole then replace the bolt and tighten it and screw top transmission cap on. Drive nice and easy for 20-30 miles then drive it slightly more aggressive another 20 miles. Transmission should be good to go and adaptive learned after that

Water pump replaced at 30k, rear hub replaced at 40k, cam selonoid replaced at 45k, stop start "technology" works in new york only lol, seats were ripping and breaking down within 20k. Evap leak code constantly, replaced gas cap twice, when sitting in passenger seat the whole dashboard and radio shuts down while driving so we lose the mph's and eveything and comes back on sometimes.
