Is there any way to do this so the key will stay folded? In this video it seems it doesn’t and I noticed it in another person’s walk through. Not a huge deal if not but it’d be nice. Thanks!
The key will stay folded if you buy the correct one. The seller said this fits the equinox but it didn’t. I figured I may as well use this one I got and I customized it to make it stay closed. Yep. It turned out that Amazon said it fits an equinox but it actually doesn’t. Everything is identical except for the grooves in the swivel. I carved a small notch out of the swivel and it had been locking properly to this day. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe

You didn't check to see if the key would lock in the closed position.
