Thanks for the information. I’ll pin the comment.
Good stuff guys! So since he added the 2” drop shackles, he’s actually riding a 5/8 drop now. Awesome
Yeah for sure! Extra low lol 😆
@@CheeHooGarage didn’t he say he was putting stock shackles back in?
Been waiting a while for this one!
Hell yeah dude! Thanks for watching!!
Appreciate the support my guy!
Second!! Truck looks incredible guys! Great job! What is the next mod being done? Can't wait to see more!
I dunno man I think Cory is still taking it all in. We will keep you updated!
@@ABrianLewisVlog we shall see, we might see some more bald eagles added here in a couple of months lol
Just bought the drop kit for my 05 LWB 4WD.
Also bought an AWD transfer case and front diff out of an Escalade.
Should be running twin turbos by the end of the year.
Oh my! Keep us updated please!
Yo bro I just bought a kit how long does shipping take ?
@@cronikiz6316
Ordered on amazon, I think.
Showed up in about a week.
When you find the driveshaft vibrates, a 2° wedge will fix that.
Did you go from a 275/55 to a 275/40?
Man that frame looks good
Sheeesh thanks to my dude Grant. What a legend. The ol Pennsylvania Frame Painter.
Man what a honor to get a compliment from someone of your stature. Cant thank you enough for your great craftsmanship on the framework you did!
@@ABrianLewisVlog 😂
@@ABrianLewisVlog what size rims ?
@@Kemothebarber 20’s
That thing is clean af
Thanks bro 😎
Shewwww weeeeee that thing looks good
Yessss sir
The lower inner bolts near the notch on the passenger side look like there super close to the cut of section like there is no wall left. Or is it just the camera angle?
Probably the camera angle. Wasn’t that bad in person.
Im sincerely starting to consider doing my 07 myself. I do have a lift but God damn it im getting old and fat and don't fuckin want to. But these trucks look SO MUCH BETTER dropped 🇺🇸
That they do!
@@ABrianLewisVlog My local off road shop wants 4,500 parts and labor. I have a lift and all the tools but and there's no phuckin way im paying 4500 for this.
@@DM-qp7do dang 😮
Back is not sitting right at 6 due to the shackle bolts being tightened when it was in the air..should leave em loose till u put it on the ground and then tighten them up..I lower trucks for a living 👍🏼
Thanks for the tip. He’s recently re installed the 2 inch drop shackles and it sits awesome now.
@@ABrianLewisVlog yes sir those look good on a fake 4-7 do 1 uneven number on drop shackle to eliminate the sag cause of the gas tank being on driver side ..for instance If he went 7" do a stock shackle on driver side and lower hole on drop shackle if it's a 2" drop shackle and If he went 8" do upper hole on pass side and lower hole on drivers side ..that will level out the truck perfecty w a full tank of gas 👍🏼
Where are you located ? I wanna get this same exact kit for my truck and was wondering if you can install it for me? And if possible how much we talking for install$?
@@nate3633 I stay out in tx
@@joeroe2839 you talking about chevy lean. The ihc control arms eliminate this by having the passenger spring cup 1” lower than the the driver side. It’s a great kit.
Nicely done
could you run a 5 inch drop in rear without a cnotch?
You cannot unfortunately
Do you have too cut your drive shaft when you lower truck
Not on this kit
What’s next for the truck?
Not sure yet. Only time will tell.
I’m located in ky what is your guys shop called I got the same kit i want to install?
No shop. We used the shop of the dealer we worked for at the time. If you call Stephen at Regal Motorsports in Lewisport KY they could probably do it for you. Same guy that installed this one.
how was the ride quality on that IHC drop kit...I'm lookn in too get 5/7drop kit
Rides pretty good! bumpy on really rough roads but smooth sailing for the most part!
Did y’all ever get the upper ball joint to take grease like it’s supposed to?
Yes
You guys ain’t got a clue, the rubs the front tires are going to do to the front inner fenders.
@@Mr572u never rubbed playa.
@@ABrianLewisVlog laya laya!
@@ABrianLewisVlog laya laya! I have a 4-6 and it rubs sometimes
I'm a noob. I just got a 2000 Silverado. How much would a 4/6 lowering cost out the door?
I got quotes from two different techs first quote was 1200 and second quote was 3200
Has he had any problems down the road just ordered the exact same kit? A little nervous to install
No problems at all
So what the name of kit an what was it
IHC 4/6 kit
@@ABrianLewisVlog thanks for getting right back to me I have a 97 Chevy ext cab I have never lowered before I have done plenty the other way going up
@@ABrianLewisVlog thanks for the info I ordered my kit I was also wondering what size of tire an rim should I order any info will help me since this is my first time lowering a truck thanks guys
Where in Ky are you guys located?
Owensboro KY
@@ABrianLewisVlog that's cool I'm in Frankfort
Does this kit fit a 2000 silverado stepside single cab rwd ? just want to be sure before i get one
I’m not sure but ihc Instagram message them and they will know for sure
Looks good!
Thank you!
Thank you man!
Any idea why one side would be higher then the other after flip kit? One shock is 16in on the left and the other is 17in on the right and left sits lower then the right?
It would be hard to say without seeing it in person.
Go up to my comment
I just did this drop on my 02 sierra and my front sits good but the rear is way to low sits like the Carolina squat any ideas why mine would do that
Not unless it already had drop shackles installed that you weren’t aware of
@@ABrianLewisVlog no drop shackles at all or the mounts all stock
@@davidsutherland9965 strange
Can we get an update on this build?
Everything is basically the same will update you soon also make sure to subscribe to Crowe media his channel
How many hours did the rear take, my local shop says 120$hr , might just do it myself . Thanks
Took 10-12 hours
it didnt take me long i lowered my 8 in the rear didnt take but 3-4 hours c notches and flip kit with shackles
getting the monster notch done soon then going to 5/12
Hey guys would you guys be interested in doing the same drop on another truck?
@@donaldmoore3668 no this was terrible lol
Dang it lol just looking for someone to set me teu k like this one
Where are you guys located ? I want this exact same kit for my truck and was wondering if you can do it for me?
Located in KY
Do you think a 4/8 drop would look better
Just personal preference.
4/8 drop come on bro that’s ghetto af lowered in the back then the front
If I do a 4/6 drop is it okay if I have 22x12’s rims on my truck
I’m not entirely sure. He did some research on a Facebook group he’s on before he ordered his new tires.
What size tires
Rims are those
275 40 20’s
@@ismaelvargas2790 hell no!
What’s the tire size ?
what size tire was it?
275-40-20
What brand wheels are those
Some off brand snow flakes not sure if they even have a name lol
Did y’all have any issues with the alignment after lowering it with this kit?
Truck did eat through a tire even after doing an alignment. I think they finally got it aligned properly.
@10:48 confirmed my thoughts, you don't know what you were doing.
first to watch the whole thing.....
My A1 since Day 1 dude!! I already knew you would be the first real one playa!! 😙
First😊
Love you baby! You da man.
its literally not that expensive to lower a truck, but good work. great video
I installed the same drop on my 2002 Silverado and my passenger side is lower than my driver side
Someone else commented and said the same thing. It's hard to tell without seeing it in person.
called chevy lean take put the stock drop shackle in the side thats leaning down\
4 7 drop would look way better
ya'll look high af
That does not looks like a 4/6 drop is more like 3/5
It’s actually more of 5/8 at the moment. May not appear so to you in video but in person you can definitely tell.
@@JesusOrtiz-qp1so a flipped rear can’t be 5 unless you have air shocks back there.
What size tire does he have ?
275-40-20
Any offset ?
Good video, junk kit.
Why you say that?
These guys aren’t mechanics correct? Just dudes fucking around on their personal shit in someone else’s shop?
Very successful and skilled techs for well over a decade.
What size tire do you recommend on 4/8 drop on 18S
I have a 4/6 drop with flip kit and a welded under bed notch but i wanna go two inches lower in the rear do i just need 2inch drop shackles?
Yes he has since this video installed 2 inch drop shackles
