Good good period of instruction, conscious and to the point. Talked very clear and not muffled. Like how that lowering kit allow the oem tires to fit and shows you can build a truck in sections and not have to throw all the money at it at one time.
I want this so bad but my wife hates it :( I would just love a supercharged 5.3 z71 street truck. It would be killer at hooking up

I have put together too many trucks over the years. Currently working on a 2003 Avalanche. I don't do any of the work on any truck I've had put together. On here I can't say I put together cuz some of y'all going to say I didn't do the work. Lol This was an absolute great explanation step by step. I still won't do it but you gave me faith that I probably could😅

Have you ever had issues with the abs sensors ever since I install this kit my abs sensors keep going out every time I turn to the right am at a 5/6 drop
So rear is just flip kit and shocks??

Why would anyone want to lower a 4×4? That's crazy! I like my 4x4's and 2wd lifted! 2wd are supposed to be lowered in my opinion, but I'm sure this is a awesome kit!
Hello Kevin, most customer either do it for performance. Since 4wd launches better than 2wd. Also to older guys that need help getting in and out of their trucks and get a lot of snow must have 4wd.

I wonder how this affects towing.. I know you can get a helper bag kit but would hate to do all that just hauling a little utility trailer or simply going to Lowe’s. At what weight would the bed hit the rear end?

Get helper bags
Add helpers bags and you shouldn’t have a problem. Not many people tow with a 1500 frame
I have this kit and it rides nice, only that idk about 285/45/22 they rubbed for me and ended up stripping my inner wheel plastic from a drive to walmart but then again mines a crewcab 2wd

I would prefer a shorter bump stop installed instead of cutting them off completely. Otherwise I like this kit and might be getting it soon for my 2016 z71 ext cab.
Bump stops aren't necessary when you drop sir.
Hey I’m thinking about doing this to my 1500 single cab, how is ride quality at this sort of drop? Can it still be a daily driver or will it hurt to drive?
Hello Rebal, ride quality does stay pretty much same as factory. The stock components that give that ride quality (springs, shocks, spindles, rear leaf springs) all the stay the same as oem. We change out the front control arms to maintain same ride quality. To be honest only neg feedback we get are that rear shocks are a bit stiff on regular cabs. But then again we also get 5 star reviews on a daily basis on this kit. Rear shocks have always been a very opinionated subject. I've personal had all brands on our shop trucks and control arms is the way to go on anything past a 3/5. You can definitely use this as a daily driver and if you tow/haul with your truck we got you covered as well with our helper bag kit. Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks

Hello James, 20 stocks 275/55/20 work. 22 wheels 285/45/22, 24 wheels 295/35/24 and 26 295/30/26. We recommend 22 285/45/22

I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 LT with 22in wheels. I want to drop it 2/4. Would you recommend going lower so that I can still drive up my driveway that’s on a hill or try the 2/4?

Just did the flip kit on my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 and when going over a bad bump the rear end makes a horrible noise like the diff is hitting the bottom of the bed maybe? Is this bad and how can I fix it? It has Belltech street shocks just installed
It might be your truck is bottoming out. The axle makes contact with your frame. For this I would recommend a low profile bumpstop

24s will fir as long as you go with a skinny tire. On 2015 models the recommended size is 295 30 24. Also for their website just type their name in Google and something should show up.

Hello Dakota, our kit is 100% bolt on. Only cutting required is the rear bump stops. We do install here at our shop on a daily basis. Have many customer lower the truck and then couple months lift it. Much cheaper to lower than to lift. Can also run stocks.

It should but I'm guessing they round it up or down to get to a specific number

if done right you should be able to tow, see plenty of guys doing it
Hello Doug, on a single cab with a flip kit and rear bump stops removed you have about 4.5" of travel from frame to axle. Just depending on what your towing/hauling and roads its very capable to still tow. Now we also offer our helper bag kit for lowered application. As long as you are going over smooth roads. I would recommend a c notch or helper bags. A c notch can be dangerous because it can actually caused the driveshaft to break(Crew Cabs only). So I would recommend the helper bags.
Non of this is needed if you you don't carry to much weight or drive on rough roads

Will a 4×4 with the 4-6 drop be higher than a 2wd with the 4-6 drop since the 4×4 comes a little higher stock?

Are the 5/7 spacers the same size?
I unscrewed bolts all the way but I need at least another inch up front of my s10 , can I take my keys out and put them back in upside down ?

@@shantz973 I don't know much about torsion keys but that sounds dangerous. I suggest you look for lowering springs or lowering keys just to be safe.
You could always cut your springs but, that will ruin your ride quality

Salvador Fuentes you will need a c notch if you go 6 inches in the back since 99-06 dont have much clearance so you’ll need it if you don’t want to be hitting

I got the 4/6 kit on my 2017 single cab and I’m running 26s wrapped in 305/30/26.

The point of this kit is to change and replace your original control arms

Those have cast steel control arms. But yes the info does apply, you just have to buy the 2007 to 2014.

I believe based of forums, I believe you will be fine. 4/6 is where people start to have rubing problems
