@@seanryan3020 I mean, I don't think there's specific UA-cam functionality for copying comments, but at least on PC, highlighting text in a comment + right click copy seems to work properly. I also sometimes, when needing to reproduce text that won't copy that way, type what I need into the browser search bar (using Firefox, in my case) so as to preserve it between tabs or whatnot.

It's actually not as stupid as it superficially appears. Little statements like this create a juxtaposition between what his words are and what we impute they mean. He calls a guy traitorous, then leaves it as the last thing said on the matter without anger, softened with nothingburger word sounds. More broadly, it means he frequently lies out in the open, normalising that what he says literally cannot be relied upon. He's being predictably unpredictable, just like it was written (for him) in Art of the Deal. It also allows others to speak for him, which they then do to all the echo chamber splinter groups among his supporters.
They all see in him whatever they are told they want to see. It's disturbingly brilliant and weak-kneed career politicians have never known how to deal with it.
