It always gets me how she's looking around, KNOWING she's about to be executed and Silvio KNOWING she knows and stops even half-assing being coy, only for when the car stops the reality kicks in and she acts shocked and Silvio is surprised she's so shocked. It reminds me of a scene in OZ where a female prisoner makes her peace with the fact she can't get out of getting executed, and walks to the chamber with a surprising serene grace... ...Only for all that quiet dignity to get thrown out the window once she saw how they were going to kill her. Underrated part: When Sil tells Tony about Burt playing both sides of the fence, Tony’s incredulous and disgusted look followed by him saying “BURT?!?!” As if to say “Even a low level cock sucker like THAT is trying to take me out?!” 😂
Keep watching this video, and others. Real starting to piss me off how blind Tony was to true loyalty and how he pushed everyone away. I know that's the whole point but still, nasty to see
Part of what makes this show great is it doesn't follow the classic TV mentality of 'This character is lying/has other motives, so even if they lie like a normal person in real life, they need to make some sort of side glance or expression afterward to show this'. Part of what makes the scene with Adrianna so terrifying is that Sil is acting the exact same as he normally would be, it makes how he acts and what he does when the car pulls over so much more chilling.
The double meaning behind him telling Adriana in the car not to worry Christopher will be okay He wasn't talking about Chris being in the hospital He was talking about he'll be okay without you in his life He was giving her subtle hints during that conversation that her time on that planet was short and she realized that and that's why she was starting to cry
Drea gets so much credit for that final season but Stevie was incredible. You can feel Silvios rage and excitement in that car, he relished killing her. Truly scary character, seems so level headed and reasonable but he's just as brutal and ruthless as anyone else in the series
Silvio will forever be my favorite character, stayed in his lane most of the time(except when the timeline got fcked up and when he felt out of his element and had to fill in for Tony as #1). Carried out some absolutely brutal tasks out of loyalty to the family and always TRIED to be the voice of reason. Out of anybody on the show, he always reminded me most of “the strong silent type” that Tony talked about.
I like to think that off screen, Silvio's shots were just warning shots. Then he told Adriana, "Yo, let that be a lesson to you about talkin to the Feds, capiche? Alright, get up, stop crying, lets go, we got a flight to Fiji to put you on, you got to lay low for awhile."
4:20 the fucking song always gets me playing in the radio. Killer touch by the producers. “Just get in the car and take off and drive. Don’t wait too long, you’re almost there, don’t wait too long til you see it undone” Perfect.
"I genuinely don't think there's anything to gain by keeping him around" -- one of the best line deliveries of the show, made better by the fact Silvo is mostly diplomatic
Borko: SopranosFan57 caused a serious problem. Me: How serious? Borko: Well, he's not satisfied with the current Sopranos fanbase leadership, wants to get HBO to issue more copyright strikes.
oof Madone. Could have been an ESDLC video, thank god I turned up my hearing aid so as to not miss Sopranos content edit: i notice that borko can find this to be rude. Ignore me, I've been a cranky fuck lately
For me it’s the way Sil seemed to personally have it out for Adriana, while she’s riding in the car with a literal busted lip from Chrissy putting his hands on her, which Sil knows he did all the time. Knowing that Ade is a civilian, and knowing that she got trapped by the FBI, and knowing that she actually came admitted it to Chrissy. Sil is a monster. Him getting put in a coma was the easy way out for him, that man deserved to be put under the jail. Just being loyal to the acting boss and to the game doesn’t mean shit when you’re a sociopath and a murderer.
I always feel sorry the way Silvio ended up getting shot and on life support in the hospital until I remember how mercilessly and cold-heartedly he killed Adriana. I know she was an FBI informant but damn Silvio did her dirty when he lied to her and gave her hope that she was going to live pretending to take her to the hospital to see Christopher only to take her into the woods and drag her out of the car and kill her while she begged for her life.
Yea well whaddya want? Because she was an informant that was the only way to get her in the car she didn’t take omertà but she knew better than to talk and she also tried to flip Christopher
Sil's a scumbag like the rest of them, him executing Adriana is the show reinforcing that it doesn't matter how close you are to someone over the years, they can decide to kill you without hesitation. I felt bad for Ade, but holy shit she was one of the dumbest people on the show, she brought it on herself instead of trying to get a lawyer or asking Chrissy for help when she got pinched by a charge that wasn't even bad.

@@Silvio89Dante this was before 30 min-1 hr long videos. 3-4 min clips in all in order 4 times a day in 2011. UA-cam couldn't beat the spread.
Underrated part: When Sil tells Tony about Burt playing both sides of the fence, Tony’s incredulous and disgusted look followed by him saying “BURT?!?!”
As if to say “Even a low level cock sucker like THAT is trying to take me out?!” 😂
The way the camera zooms in on Adriana crawling away from Sil is just great
You need someone like Sil, all business and loyal til the wheels fall off.
Keep watching this video, and others. Real starting to piss me off how blind Tony was to true loyalty and how he pushed everyone away. I know that's the whole point but still, nasty to see
@@Hugh_Morris Sil even expressed his annoyance at Tony's lack of care for his subordinates, like when Bobby got attacked

How much more betrayal he can take, huh?

i like how they are so calm and casual the way they talk to them before killing them.
They gotta keep his guard down before he suspects anything
The little hunchback knew how to make people disappear, not exactly the enforcer looking type but more of a magician.
You know Quasimodo predicted all of this.
The look on sylvios face after he tells adriana "why you cryin? Everythings gonna be finee." Is so menacing
He's my favourite of the bunch because he's usually very level headed, but this and a few other scenes remind me that he's a calculated psychopath.
Silvio's gestures as he paces the floor, discussing a murder with Tony, is inimitable.
UA-cam: “I genuinely don’t think there’s anything to gain by keeping Borko around.”
HBO: "Get it done."
“They thought you’d be a part of it.”
“And he got an answer.”
Fucking raw man
Every upload Borko gets some popcorn headlines!
Make my nephew an egg!
Borko always had the makings of a varsity headliner.
Drea gets so much credit for that final season but Stevie was incredible. You can feel Silvios rage and excitement in that car, he relished killing her. Truly scary character, seems so level headed and reasonable but he's just as brutal and ruthless as anyone else in the series
His line, "why you crying? He's gonna be fine." Definitely gave the aura of, " but you're not."
"Measures were taken"
Go back to clipping ya coupons.
How was Boca?
Get the piano dolly… Lol 😆
Silvio will forever be my favorite character, stayed in his lane most of the time(except when the timeline got fcked up and when he felt out of his element and had to fill in for Tony as #1). Carried out some absolutely brutal tasks out of loyalty to the family and always TRIED to be the voice of reason. Out of anybody on the show, he always reminded me most of “the strong silent type” that Tony talked about.
Sil to Adrianna: What you dont like me?
Maybe try my standard operating procedure.
"Why are you crying, he's gonna be fine!...........but you won't"
I like to think that off screen, Silvio's shots were just warning shots. Then he told Adriana, "Yo, let that be a lesson to you about talkin to the Feds, capiche? Alright, get up, stop crying, lets go, we got a flight to Fiji to put you on, you got to lay low for awhile."
🤣
4:20 the fucking song always gets me playing in the radio. Killer touch by the producers. “Just get in the car and take off and drive. Don’t wait too long, you’re almost there, don’t wait too long til you see it undone”
Perfect.
"I genuinely don't think there's anything to gain by keeping him around" -- one of the best line deliveries of the show, made better by the fact Silvo is mostly diplomatic
Adrianna getting murdered... that one was hard to watch... and they didn’t even show it.
yeah. Sopranos fans may have a lot of differing opinions about a lot of things, but I think we can all agree that nobody wanted to actually see that.

Just being loyal to the acting boss and to the game doesn’t mean shit when you’re a sociopath and a murderer.
despicable piece of trash, like most carachters on this show and the overwhelming majority of people involved in organized crime in general.
That's literally the only time it matters
She was talking to the FBI, he had a right to defend himself.
Chris Tony and sil either didn’t really know or just didn’t care that Ade had almost nothing to give the feds
You call that begging?
I can’t believe I was never once suspicious about Steve Van Zandt’s hair, lol.
Heard Don Junior’s not kickin up to Borko no mo’… He said he wouldn’t pay because he knows too much about extortion!
That scene with metallica in the background was so badass. Shows how great of consigliere silvio was
