OBSSTUDIOTUTORIAL
You are a Chad.
No intro, no BS, no explaining in depth how everything works before giving the recommended settings.
Just simple and straight to the point.
9 minutes 40s bro they had to milk it out. There's a youtube video under 31s that does exactly as what the title meant.
This guy honestly takes the slow and helps newbies (like me) learn and not just click buttons for no reason thx for this and u deserve a subscribe
This is insane. My recording quality was totally garbage and couldn't figure out why. The internet is full of useless stuff. Your tutorial saved my day man! I changed it to my monitor size, cranked up the bitrate and now it records in amazing quality. Thank you so much for this. Liked and subscribed.
same. the gameplay was smooth as but the quality of the recodring was garbage!
same, I'm able to record and get nice 1080p video, but with these settings, I'm unable to see the full screen as I'm recording, does the canvas size really matter in relation to the output scaled resolution?
@@Segwo ye i think so but with the full screen, ik how to fix that: set resolutions to 1928x1080 and then rihjt clikc the screen yhen hover over transform then fit to screen
@@Simblz_yt that works for the finished product. But literally can’t see the full screen when working on it, it’s weird
I know this video is 2 years old but even after 2 or 10yrs this video will always be valued to many. I tried to schedule time but your schedule is full booked. Great job and keep up the good work.
Hands down, this is the best OBS Studio tutorial. This is probably the 3rd time I've set up OBS studio across my devices. You get straight to the point and walk us through it exceptionally. Thank you!
Thanks man! the audio on my recording is way better now. Now people can hear me scream better on horror games
out of the dozen of tutorials reiterating the video output notion...this was the most in-depth tutorial, thank you so much!
Unbelievably clear and concise video.
Awesome and easy guide. I understand english not so well, but understand every your world my man!
Yo I came here just to figure out why my OBS files were recording exclusively in 720 and now I've finally found my go to wtf-am-I-doing-wrong-here solutions expert. Thank you for your existence. Subbed.
Happy I could provide you with the answers you needed! Thank you for the sub
Thank you very VERY much man. I think after using your settings into my OBS for my recordings, it recorded the SMOOTHEST I've been able to manage yet, and I've been trying to dial this in since yesterday morning, lol. THANK you very much again bro. Life saver!
This is to the point, no bs, and best of all, no music in background or that thumping- high bass jungle crap music at the startup which is totally unnecessary for instruction videos. Thank you!! Good job!
One of the best no-nonsense tutorials on adjusting settings for screencaps. Thank you.
YOU SAVED MY LIFE, I was worried I would not be able to record at this event (it requires 1080p) and you SAVED me! thank you so much and I am forever a subscriber of you.
My guy I appreciat ethis video so much. I was wondering why my uploads werent looking that good even though I had done everything right through the editor but never thought about the actual software i was recording with(OBS) until today and thank god your video was first. I did everything you recommended because my PC has the capabilities to do much more than I was currently using it for THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Thank you so mutch for not having an intro and just awsering the question as soon as you start.
Yet again, thank you!
Perfect video. No time wasted and clear instructions. Thanks, amigo.
Thank you so much.
I was wondering why my recordings are so bad but after following this tutorial is i discovered my bitrate was set to 2444kbps while recording at 1080p, 60fps, imagine that.
thank you this actually helped, and also made me realise that sometimes slow and steady is a good way to understand than straight to the point
Finally an amazing tutorial actually showing the goods
I am recording UA-cam videos for a mobile game I play and this tutorial REALLY helped me out. I was able to make my channel better and make some good scenes for my graphic designer. Thank you so much.
YOU ARE AMAZING AT EXPLAINING IN DETAIL AND CONCISELY AND CLEARLY YOURE THE BEST THANK U IM A FIRST TIME TWITCH STREAMER
thankyou for actually explaining why im changing these settings
Thank you very much! I have just realised that I had my bitrate at 8000 and recording at 60 fps. Now I have upped the bitrate it looks so much better, thank you!
OMG this was GREAT info. I shall go back in to OBS, redo settings, and see if I can't create and upload a 1080 'HD' to youtube test video this time. UPDATE: I went into OBS, made all the changes you suggested, and did indeed get the 1080 output I was wanting to upload to UA-cam. HOWEVER - now I know what you and everyone meant about high cpu usage with OBS. With your suggested settings, my audio track lagged badly behind the video, and upon researching, I found I had to set my bitrate back to the very low setting, my audio track back to 160, and had to play with the CPU usage setting, finding that "FAST" gives me the best audio/video sync. As you say, I clearly need a new, more powerful computer to get highest quality. Thank you for your top notch instruction!
This was very explanatory and easy to understand. U have no idea how much u helped today! Thank u so much!
If you could walk me through every single problem I ever have in life, that would be awesome. 10/10 tutorial!
I did everything in this tutorial, and the results were the same as before. Except the sound of the audio sounding much better.
Very well explained! I am a beginner trying to record videos for youtube and this helped me a lot!
Thank you man finally a Best video , delivers what the title says.

Lots of love from Athens Greece ☺
Thank you. Tonight I got fed up with Filmora and gave OBS a try. It's not that bad and watching your tutorial, I can sense that things will improve making my video classes. Thank you very much for this tutorial. I'm going to subscribe.

Did everything you said, and it all works! And when I record, my CPU is at 3-4%!
why is my output scaled resolution only set to 720p as the highest? any help? thanks x
Love this tutorial, slow and clear
I followed all your settings. Im using 1920x1080p 60fps on video recordings and my cpu reading is 5.3% on this Lenovo gaming laptop with Nvidia TRX3060 graphic card. Thanks for the info.
you gotta be a wizard or something. for the longest time my videos look so bad, and now they look great! plus you took it slow enough that i could follow along without having to pause and back up the video a lot
This man is a LIFESAVER. Thanks so much.
Thanks for the precise, kind, easy explanation!

Really great video!! Straight to the point and you know what you're talking about. Thank you!
Great video. Exactly what I was looking for 👍
This is a great tutorial, thank you!
Your tutorials on OBS are fantastic! Can you comment on using CQP as an alternative for controlling the data rate for recording?
Preferably actually, the filesize improve and the video result is more steady, You just have to find the CQP value that fit your hardware and not overload it.
Does CQP automatically choose the best bitrate? or do you recommend CBR if we uploading to UA-cam
dude you're a legend for such an awesome tutorial. (My recording quality went from garbage to 1080p)
the way you explain things is top tier, thank you because a lot of other content creators dont really do step by step like you do
It litteraly working tysm i'll subscirbe Awesome video keep it up!
Keep going!!
This is an excellent video. Well done.
Thank you. Great lesson!
Thank you! I did not know I can utilize my graphics card for that.
Thanks mate, Helped loads!
Thanks
I think a thing I may be dealing with is my type c cable might be too slow into the thunderbolt port which could be why my video pixels look bad even with the 1080 canvas. I'll update my cable and give another update here
Wow, thanks a lot!
So clear and easy to understand.
Regards
Falkson
I followed all these settings but the recording still looks like its in 480p when i put it into adobe premiere pro... can anyone help?
Thanks for this video, I started using OBS since my Bandicam was having issues. I'm kinda starting to get used to OBS.
Thanks bro, I was wondering why my obs recordings were so bad compared to videos I used other programs to record
Amazing Video - saving this
Precise and easy to follow, many thanks for the tips.

Your the goat ive been so frustrated lately and you just solved my problem thank you soo much
Great help thanks!!!
Awesome video!
Damn dude thanks a LOT! I make a lot of videos with fast paced games, so this is REALLY helpful. Thank you so much for making a tutorial on this. 😉

Thumbs up bro. That was an amazing content
Straight to the point. Thank you!
thanks alot! ive watched alot of tutorials like this. but u described it pretty well. subbed!
thanks bro. Actually insane on the improvement. Better, but I don't think it's EPIC quality like those I see from gaming content creators. This is probably due to my PC. They probably have high tier stuff.
love you for this bro
Thank you so much oh my god, for some reason I couldnt record in 1080p anymore.
