How long did this install actually take without removing everything and going through the grill?
Is this the same for the 2015 tdci?
Are these Velossatech intakes only for petrol engines or also for diesel? I can't find that info literally anywhere online, I tried contacting Velossa directly but got no answer in 2 weeks :(
I’m wanting to get one on my ‘17 Elantra sport. Does this actually make a difference when driving or is it just for looks?
The opening and amount of air that can fit through that is exactly the same. It just gets air from a lower position. Highly doubt this with add any difference in driving. Not even 1hp.
Nah it’s just for looks really, maybe helps with better airflow but no power gains

It's an air snorkel, it's impossible for it to change the intake sound. Buy a green intake for $60 if you want sound, you'll get the results you want.
So what happened if it rains very hard ?
You can get water injection to help reduce temps, so as long as it doesn’t suck up a puddle of water you’ll be fine, the bigger issue is that these scoops essentially block about as much air as they divert.

It’s supposed to be a better inlet to get air to your air box more efficiently, but really I think it might be more for looks😂 I love it though
Dont see the point of this, surely the shroud you removed makes the whole front a giant snorkel which the intake draws air from.
I had a factory tube where you attached your big mouth....weird.
