JBR’s short shifter arm is amazing, I highly recommend. Just tossing that out there.

Going to be rocking: JBR Short shifter arm, Solid base bushings, solid cable bracket bushings, and solid cable bushings... Also replacing my Clutch with an RS assembly and new flywheel at the same time... Super excited!
The install for the shift bushings always makes me wonder why they don’t just include the tiny green piece with the kits.
Thats actually a pretty good point!
The only way to get new green pieces is if you buy entire new shift cables, Ford doesn’t sell just the green pieces. And that’s the reason why no one provides the green pieces.
Jake Hartung good point but surely someone could 3D print some and put them in the kits?
Jake Hartung - Or just have them made like they do for the parts you are buying anyway. Aftermarket bushings like these aren’t available from Ford either

good video over all, but you skipped the entire 'installation' bit of the shifter base bushings lol... the lower ones have the shoulders, the 'washers' go on top. Mine didnt stay in so getting them all lined up while trying to set them was a bit of a pain, especially since i did it with only the shifter removed, did not remove any of the plastic surrounds. I just did mine while doing the Boomba short shifter
