Was going to buy until the 140$ price tag. No thanks.
really $140? wth i probably have something this shape in my garage. should start selling it lol
are there any problems when it rains?
I made my own with the vacuum cleaner tip and hose works great .and is stealth from the grill 2010 jeep SRT 8
140 dollars for 10 cents worth of plastic ???
get one of ebay for 9.99 its just a fucking piece of plastic
how much does it cool down intake temps?
Do you happen to know if this air scoop is compatible with the fiesta st as well?
Is there 1 for the Fiesta ST?!?!
I have access to a 3D printer... I think ill just print one for about $5 in material. Thanks for the video though!
Eric Fling you have make it?
Nope, started working more on motorcycle parts. Car is at stage 3 and I like it where it is.
Eric Fling dammed.i have ordered one by you
That is what I am gonna do too!!
relentlesschaos95 did you design it? Could you send me a file to print too?
I remember the first time i used a dremel too.
overpriced but will this fit an RS?
What about when it rains?
All that work for that part? I'm good.
nice video! will this fit the fiesta st?
It was designed specifically for the Focus, I never tried but I doubt its a direct fit.

Hey! I was wondering if this would fit my 2013 Focus "SE". I live in Arizona and heat soak has been an issue every summer; especially with a stick. Weather above 90° is causing a hesitation problem when starting off and when rev-matching. Thank you!!!
Would hydro locking be a problem with these? I am in the Las Vegas area so its pretty much dry and not wet almost all the time, but would that one rare rain storm hydro lock my car with this on it, also would car washes be a problem. Also I generally dont drive through flooded areas like a manic in the rain, and if i do its usually like 3 inches of water.
Unless you drove through standing water as high as the scoop you will not have any issues.
Shouldn't be an issue, depending on your Air box/filter setup you will suck in some moist air. Gravity may keep most water out but anything that's misty will be sucked in. Similar to you sucking air through a straw next to one of those mist fans.
song sounds like bulls on parade :p
Yeah that seems like a stolen riff for sure.
what about when it rains won't is suck up a lot of water
No, gravity and the air filter will prevent moisture from getting into the intake, unless youre literally driving through a lake
If your air box is completely closed you will suck up some moisture. Especially in heavy rain, like suckling air through a straw. Not much to cause harm.
If your aibox is opened, like the Roush air box and filter, used on the non turbo models, then it won't have enough air pressure to suck anything up. It would be used to help bring more cold air into the air filter area.
$140 for that piece of plastic? Really?
good way to suck up water and dirt
Dean Fleming if you ram your car into a foot and a half of water yeah. Aside from that, thats what a filter is for.
haha at comments. if you guys think this is bad theirs another company selling them for 180 hahaaaaaaa. check ebay you guys might find a deal
Not worth the effort to remove the nose cover...
LOL what an overpriced tube
Not really ram air. Air is sucked in.
At highway speeds the air is "rammed" in...
I see no advantage with this , it merely moving the air intake to the bottom of the nose will not bring in colder air
..... dumb . I would never put that on my st. True cold air he says.... lmao I'm not even going to try and explain why this is silly
