One of the only upgrades I have yet to do to my 2016 RR ST. If someone's watching this wanting to upgrade other things that make big a difference (under the hood)...I'd HIGHLY recommend the Redline Tuning hood struts that replace the stupid factory prop-rod to hold your hood up. ZERO drilling, bolts in. Only modifications are to trim the plastic where the strut lies when its shut. Worth every penny. I also did the FSWerks front stability bar, simply bolts on to the control arms. There are a few little things that go a long way, things that Ford should have done from the factory lol.
    * a note to keep in mind when upgrading intake components...if driving in rain/large puddles, keep off the throttle as much as possible. Any chance water can get directly into the intake, you're gonna have a bad day. There's a reason there are baffles and channels protecting the engine from air entering directly..though it robs us of some power.

Love how he balances the skid plate on his head to lower it😂

You can install it also by removing the grill and radiator/engine shroud on top of the bumper. 2015+ models only

I have a 2017 Focus ST. The front bumper removal is not required correct? How long would the install time be in that case since you can just install by removing the front grill?

If you have to take the bumper off, I would do the FMIC at the same time (since you have to take it all apart for that one as well). I think that is my next project for my 2017 FOST

amd_64 those are stock ST3 lenses. They’re not cheap from Ford.

I'm thinking about fitting this as well as the hella horn supertones to the left of the snorkel. You think I would have to do the grill shave?

IF you have a facelift st (15-17) then you DONT need to remove the bumper for this install.

Alright guys putting his big mouth thing in easy you just take the grill out take the Shroud off and everything can be put straight through the front it can be done in less than 35 minutes I know I've just done one the weekend do not take that bloody bumper off if you can get the grill out it's a simple matter take the Shroud out take the little bit of plastic out feed the big mouth through and then bolt it through the back sometimes the number plate will get in the way just detach it and then we stick it back on simple do not take that bloody bumper off

@@garyeales1116 Oh well🤷‍♂️taking the bumper off on these cars is super easy. Gave me tons of room plus i cleaned up my mishimoto intercooler while i was in there.

I've really wanted to get one of these but I'm worried about when it's raining. Is there a higher probability of water entering through it

We don't get a lot of rain here in Phoenix so we don't have a ton of experience in the rain but we don't think you'll have any issue with water.

I'm no automotive engineer, but it seems like poor man's water injection to have cool rain mist lowering boost temperatures, yes, no?

Theoriginalct Theoriginalct water/methonal injection happens after the intercooler, getting water on the air filter will just make it harder to get air

Water spray won't magically go up a 45⁰ slope it'll drip down instead. the air on the other hand will be forced up and into the airbox.
In the next couple weeks i will install the COBB Redline scoop on my ST i have a little carbon theme going just some little bits and bobs spruced around the interior and a logo replacement on the back from carbonfiber since the stock logo's chrome is known to peel on the Focus Wagon variant of the ST.
