Oregon Surfperch Fishing. Catch n Cook

Great day of catching surfperch on the Oregon coast. Cooking them afterwards was even better, the fish tacos were awesome! Thanks to Brian and his wife for fishing with me today.

Happy to report, I finally tried the hi-low yesterday with the Gulp Shrimp and I got 4 Yellowfin Croaker and 2 BSP. Thank you!

Enough fish for a fine looking lunch, in fine weather. Can never tell if it's chilly or not; PK is almost always in flip-flop, thong shoes.

Caught my first perch yesterday in Horsfall and cooked him today and I need to catch more now he tasted so good

PK its easier to skin the fillet if you leave the fillet attached at the tail and lay the fillet down away from the carcass and then take your knife and remove the fillet leaving the skin attached to carcass lots easier

I use braid 100% - 30#. And a mono leader of 15# (I use Maxima ultragreen)
