It’s funny how most of us long time viewers all say that the NY cabin is our favorite. Maybe nostalgia, the corduroy road, building the screen house, you with brown hair. All good memories.

A couple of years ago I started letting the Milk Weed grow once I learned they attract Monarch Butterflies. They also produce flowers for the Hummingbirds. It is natures food. Your Butterfly was huge & beautiful...Thanks again for the Video, I will watch whenever you post. Have a fun time.

Hi Boss! I'm happy to see you again and to report that we are doing exactly what you said, just that we are probably doing Labrador logic 😅😊.
We moved off grid for now, living in a camper trailer, getting water from neighbors, and using the generator for about one hour a day to charge the power tools and 2 marine batteries.
We are building our cabin in the woods.
For now, we have built 12 foundation piers (5 feet deep) with posts, the (sub)floor for first level, and almost finished the first floor wall framing.
I'm just bragging, yet our 23x26 cabin is getting taller. I'm proud of my husband!
We are working without experience and plans, but we are doing a lot of research, and so far, everything is coming along.
We started 2 months ago almost, and hopefully, by the end of September, we can move in for the winter and finish the inside till next spring.
You inspired us to chase this instead of a lifetime of working for a job.

We become LarchLine and do short 15-40 sec clips for our family and friends to get inspired ❤

Kinda wondered about the mountain view new cabin plan you said she wanted after a time in NH, but at the end of the day it's not my business. A recent event at my camp where some family gathered to celebrate my brothers life & spread his ashes reminded me you need to follow your dreams & enjoy life the way your heart drives you. So best wishes & cheers.
I left it up to Lori and she'd rather go back to the NY cabin than build another house. I'm all for it.

Wow its like im on vacation at the New York cabin. Youve given us all so many great memories. That cabin needs and deserves border collie running around.
My son just got back from 6 weeks in Maine. I told him he should look for you while he was in that area. He asked me how he could find you and I told him first you have to find a swamp and then look for the guy who runs it 😂😂

Both- you had fullfilled many dreames. But in the end its good to think ahead and slow down in the ages. To long to much work of goal getting pressure.
As I wort months bevore I did not understand why you did not hire a company for the new house under your controll. I dont know how much NY or the THIS off gridd paradies is-but I think it must be enough for a new solid home out of wood and with water and heat system and energy.

Here in Georgia we call them Lunar Moths. I find their cacoons at times also. Beautiful!
Luna moths are green and one of my favorites.
Will you be as isolated from things at the New York Cabin as you are now when the snow loads come through? I remember your NY Cabin because I came upon your channel 6-7 years ago. I think one of the first things I saw you doing was heating those 5-6 gallons of water containers out in the sun so you could take a shower. I just didn't hang around very long on that first go round. I think your channel was recommended to me when I used to watch "My Self Reliance" Channel.
We live in North Georgia, near the Tennessee border about 20 miles west of North Carolina. We got the Ocoee, the Hiawassee, Chattanooga and mountains galore. Hit me up if you want a better list. Feel free to stop in too!
